Seeing the disarray on Koala’s face, Lin Yu let out a light chuckle.

Hidden within his previous question was a trap: he had directly assumed that Dragon would stand up for Luffy the Straw Hat and become his enemy, effectively pitting Dragon and the Revolutionary Army against him.

It was precisely this opposition that forced Koala into an impossible dilemma.

The Revolutionary Army existed to resist the Celestial Dragons and liberate slaves; it was not a private army belonging to any one person. If anyone wanted to drag the Revolutionary Army into personal grudges, Koala would absolutely not agree.

“Miss Koala, while I would like to believe in your determination, the Revolutionary Army isn’t run by you.”

“The leader of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon, is Luffy the Straw Hat’s father, and the second-in-command, Sabo, is Luffy the Straw Hat’s second brother. They won’t be like you, unwilling to intervene in the conflict between me and Luffy the Straw Hat.”

Hearing this, Koala instantly wilted, for she knew Lin Yu was speaking the truth.

Sabo had already made it clear: he would protect his younger brother, Luffy the Straw Hat, to the very end.

After a period of silence, Koala finally spoke:

“Mr. Lin Yu, as a God-Slayer who resists the Celestial Dragons, why must you make things difficult for Luffy the Straw Hat and his crew?”

If Lin Yu stopped targeting Luffy the Straw Hat, Koala felt she might be able to get both sides to shake hands and make peace, joining forces to overthrow the Celestial Dragons.

Lin Yu glanced at Koala and said with a hint of amusement:

“Luffy the Straw Hat is a pirate who wants to become the Pirate King. Do I need any other reason to kill pirates?”

“In my eyes, the Celestial Dragons are evil, and pirates are equally evil. There is no difference between the two. Although I know I may not be able to kill all the evil in the world,”

“I will kill one for every one I encounter. The world will be a little better for it.”

Having said this, Lin Yu picked up his teacup again and took a sip.

Koala was a member of the Revolutionary Army; naturally, he had to display his own sense of justice to attract her.

“Mr. Lin Yu, the Revolutionary Army is absolutely not anyone’s private army. Please, you must believe me. I don’t want you and the Revolutionary Army to end up in opposition.”

Koala didn’t want to be enemies with someone as pure and justice-driven as Lin Yu, and someone like him was exactly what the Revolutionary Army needed most right now.

Lin Yu waved his hand, dismissing Anna, Charlos, and Whitey Bay, then said: “Miss Koala, do you really think Dragon and Sabo will watch me hunt down Luffy the Straw Hat because of the Revolutionary Army?”

Koala shook her head: “I cannot guarantee it, but I will do my utmost to prove to Mr. Lin Yu that the Revolutionary Army is not anyone’s private army.”

Lin Yu asked: “How will you prove it?”

“What does Mr. Lin Yu want me to do?” Koala asked with burning eyes.

Lin Yu stared at Koala for a moment before speaking:

“There are some restless elements hidden on Fish-Man Island that are about to bring unimaginable riots to the island. If Miss Koala can cooperate with me to resolve them, I might consider working with you.”

Koala was a card Lin Yu intended to use to split the Revolutionary Army; now was the perfect time to test her abilities using Fish-Man Island.

Hearing this, Koala was taken aback and said solemnly:

“Mr. Lin Yu, could you tell me more about it?”

Fish-Man Island was Fisher Tiger’s hometown; Koala would never allow a riot to happen there, and this was also a perfect opportunity to prove herself to him.

Lin Yu checked the time, stood up, and said: “I have other matters to attend to. We shall discuss this later.”

Seeing Lin Yu preparing to leave, Koala hurriedly asked:

“Mr. Lin Yu, that maid from earlier, is she your slave?”

She could tell that Whitey Bay was not serving Lin Yu willingly like the other two maids.

Lin Yu walked out the door and added:

“By the way, she used to be the Ice Witch, a pirate under Whitebeard. Don’t get that wrong.”

If she was a pirate, then it didn’t matter.

Otherwise, if Lin Yu really liked enslaving commoners, she might have to reconsider working with him.

Leaving the prison, Lin Yu headed for the deck.

Koala had been successfully persuaded; next was Madam Shyarly.

Madam Shyarly was the half-sister of the fish-man Arlong. This identity could help her establish a connection with Hody Jones and his crew. Lin Yu needed her to infiltrate Fish-Man Street and incite the already rebellious Hody Jones to revolt.

Then, Koala, representing the Revolutionary Army, would go to talk to Hody Jones, expressing an intent to form an alliance to overthrow King Neptune, working from the inside and out.

Only then would the script he wanted for Fish-Man Island officially begin.
