Chapter 237

'This son of a bitch actually wants me to cooperate with someone else...'

Seeing Tina, who had the same pink hair and a flushed, pretty face as himself, Bonney thought in shock.

Glancing at Bonney's revealing dress, Lin Yu smiled with satisfaction.

Approaching Bonney, Lin Yu said:

"Jewelry Bonney, are you willing to join my pirate crew and become my subordinate?"

Bonney turned her head away and said with a displeased face: "I am willing."

【Ding! Jewelry Bonney has joined the crew. Please choose Bonney's...】

Glancing at the prompt before him, Lin Yu turned his head to look at Tina and smiled:

"Tina, how did Reiju teach you back then? Teach Bonney."

Tina: "..."

Bonney: "..."

The next morning.

Whole Cake Island, Cacao Island.

Xia Luote Perospero, Big Mom's eldest son, approached Big Mom, who was eating breakfast, and held up a Den Den Mushi respectfully, saying:

"Mother, Katakuri wants to speak with you. He says he has something to discuss."

"Katakuri?"

Big Mom lifted her head from the table piled with food and looked at her eldest son, Perospero.

"Could it be that Katakuri has already captured the God-Slayer Lin Yu?"

Thinking thus, Big Mom took the Den Den Mushi from Perospero's hand and said:

"Katakuri, have you captured the God-Slayer Lin Yu?"

Katakuri's voice came from the Den Den Mushi, which had transformed into his likeness:

"I apologize, Mother, but something has gone wrong."

"Hmm? Something gone wrong?" Big Mom's voice began to sharpen.

The God-Slayer Lin Yu's flying ship technology was the key to her seizing the Pirate King's throne; she would not allow any mishap.

Katakuri's voice continued to come from the Den Den Mushi:

"We have already encountered the God-Slayer Lin Yu, but because his ship is too fast, our Tart Tart ships simply cannot catch up..."

Cannot catch up?

Hearing only half of this, Big Mom frowned.

Her soul-imbued Tart Tart ships had a sailing speed comparable to Navy warships, yet they couldn't catch up???

However, Big Mom did not interrupt Katakuri's words but patiently listened to him finish.

Then, she heard Katakuri say through the Den Den Mushi:

"The God-Slayer Lin Yu has taken an interest in Smoothie and wishes to enter into a political marriage with you."

"If Mother agrees, he will present the technology for flying ships."

"Taken an interest in Smoothie?" Hearing Katakuri's words, Big Mom froze in place and blinked her eyes.

She had originally wanted to capture the handsome Lin Yu and keep him as a husband for a few months... yet the other party had taken an interest in Smoothie...

Does he think I am no longer young?

"Political marriage?"

Big Mom's many children, hearing Katakuri's words, were all stunned, their faces filled with shock.

They never expected the God-Slayer Lin Yu to be so bold as to want to enter into a political marriage with their BIG MOM Pirate Crew, and moreover, the object of the marriage was actually Smoothie...

The current Sweet Commander, Xia Luote Snack, who would be defeated by the eccentric monk Ulquiorra two years later, said in astonishment: "The God-Slayer Lin Yu actually took an interest in Big Sister Smoothie?"

Smoothie was one of the Sweet Commanders of the BIG MOM Pirate Crew, a existence whose strength was second only to Katakuri.

"Merely the technical data for flying ships, how dare Lin Yu even think of such a thing?"

Quickly snapping out of his astonishment, Big Mom roared into the Den Den Mushi, her sharp voice piercing the air.

Smoothie was one of her Sweet Commanders, a crucial combat force and pillar of the BIG MOM Pirate Crew.

To try and exchange the commander Smoothie merely for the design blueprints and data of flying ships, Lin Yu's audacity was far too great.

Regarding Big Mom's anger, Katakuri had long anticipated it; he continued calmly:

"Mother, Lin Yu has captured Lola. If Mother agrees, he can exchange Lola for Smoothie."

"Lola..." Hearing this, Big Mom froze once more.

Lola was her, Big Mom's, unfilial daughter who had been coveted by the prince of the Giant Kingdom.

She was a crucial tool for the political marriage between the BIG MOM Pirate Crew and the Giant Kingdom, the world's strongest nation.

And now, she had been captured by Lin Yu and was being used to exchange for Smoothie...

Perospero, Snack, and Galette beside her also wore expressions of astonishment, all turning their heads to look at their mother, wanting to know what decision she would make.

Big Mom spoke into the Den Den Mushi:

"Katakuri, is there no way to capture Lin Yu?"

As one of the Four Emperors of the New World, Big Mom wanted the data on flying ships, Lola, and Smoothie!!!

Katakuri said through the Den Den Mushi: "The God-Slayer Lin Yu is extremely cautious, possesses disguise abilities and flight capabilities, and his ship's sailing speed is extremely fast."

"Unless we set traps and ambush him, we have no certainty of capturing him."

Perospero, standing beside Big Mom, offered a suggestion: "How about using the engagement for a political marriage as an excuse to lure him to Whole Cake Island?"

Hearing his eldest brother's words, Katakuri frowned.

Since Lin Yu even knew about Lola and the Giant Kingdom prince, he likely knew their BIG MOM Pirate Crew's situation very well.

Although Katakuri had not previously met Lin Yu, the entire communication had been relayed by the woman in professional attire.

However, judging by Lin Yu's cautious behavior while posing as the Zhuangchengshang Society.

Katakuri felt that such a trap, which could only fool a fool, would likely not deceive the other party.

And once the other party saw through it, his side would likely fall into a passive position.

They might very well be used by the other party as leverage for blackmail or an outrageous demand...
