Chapter 269

Has the Devil Fruit become so common that it's everywhere?

Suddenly, Smoothie looked at one black Devil Fruit among the pile before Lin Yu and said in disbelief:

"Why do you have the Devil Fruit of Gecko Moria? After the host dies, the Devil Fruit should reappear on the sea. Could it be..."

Halfway through her sentence, Smoothie stopped, staring at Lin Yu in shock together with Stroman.

An unbelievable thought arose simultaneously in both their hearts.

Seeing the shocked expressions of the two sisters, Lin Yu smiled and said, "I can plunder the Devil Fruits of those I kill. That's all."

"Able to plunder others' Devil Fruits..." Smoothie and Stroman murmured in shock upon hearing this, stunned on the spot.

They had never even heard of such an ability before.

With such an ability, wouldn't every Devil Fruit user in the Pirate World become Lin Yu's hunting target...

Afterwards, Smoothie and Stroman suddenly recalled the several abilities Lin Yu had once displayed before them.

The power of thunder, the power to control wind, storage abilities...

Thinking of this, Smoothie looked at Lin Yu and asked with a Face Full of Expectation:

"Why are you able to use so many abilities?"

Lin Yu glanced at Smoothie and smiled:

"As for why I can use so many abilities, you will know later."

"You only need to know that staying by my side will allow you to grow strong quickly."

Having said that, Lin Yu looked at Stroman and smiled:

"I possess a special ability that can accelerate the crew's power growth."

"With my help, you will reach the power level your sister Smoothie currently holds even faster."

"Really?" Stroman's eyes instantly burst with brilliant light, looking at Lin Yu with a Face Full of Expectation.

If someone else had said this, Stroman certainly wouldn't have believed it, but Lin Yu had shown too many possibilities, raising considerable hope in her.

Smoothie, standing nearby, also stared at Lin Yu with a face full of astonishment.

If the other party could truly raise Stroman's power to her current level.

Then wouldn't she also be able to further enhance her own power with the other party's help?

And if her current power advanced one step further, that would be Mother's level—

—Yonko!

Thinking of this, Smoothie's heart began to beat uncontrollably, thump thump.

This might be an opportunity for her as well!

Seeing Smoothie's expression, Lin Yu knew the other party had been hooked by the big pie he had drawn.

Afterwards, he looked at Stroman and smiled:

"The three you captured today, Nami, Nojiko, and Genji, were just ordinary people one or two months ago."

"And now they have basically all mastered Armament Haki."

"Although it is only the most basic Armament Haki, since they successfully mastered it within two months, you should know what this means."

In the training room provided by Lin Yu's Pirate World system, not only can the training effect be doubled, but training can also be accelerated threefold; under these bonuses.

Nami, Nojiko, and Genji have, up to now, mastered Armament Haki.

And Robin, who possesses the talent of being intelligent and gifted, has even successfully mastered Observation Haki.

"Master Armament Haki within two months?"

Smoothie and Stroman, upon hearing what Lin Yu said, were directly stunned on the spot, as if listening to a tall tale.

Haki is something that even in the New World, only a small portion of people can master.

Yet now you tell me that those three little girls by your side successfully mastered it within two months?

If this isn't a tall tale, then what is?

Seeing the shocked expressions of Smoothie and the other, Lin Yu shook his head and laughed.

If this growth speed alone shocks you.

Then what will you do when you learn that the protagonist Luffy, under the guidance of Teacher Kaido, awakened Ryuo with one strike, awakened Advanced Armament with one strike, and awakened his Devil Fruit to open the Nika form with one strike?

After being shocked for a few seconds, Smoothie looked at Stroman and asked:

"Can those three little girls really use Armament Haki?"

Stroman pressed her lips together and nodded very firmly:

"When they attacked me and Stroman, they indeed used Armament Haki, and basically everyone possesses a Devil Fruit ability."

"The ability used by that girl named Nami is the Logia-type lightning."

Having said this, Stroman glanced at Lin Yu.

Because Lin Yu can also use Logia-type lightning, there might be some connection between the two.

And after hearing that those three little girls had indeed mastered Armament Haki, Smoothie turned her head to stare at Lin Yu, her mind racing with countless thoughts.

If this man can truly accelerate the power growth of the crew around him.

Then wouldn't staying by his side actually be a good thing for her?

In that case, wouldn't her earlier refusal to share a room with Lin Yu be...

Thinking and thinking, Smoothie suddenly felt some regret in her heart for having spoken too early just now.

Lin Yu saw the expressions of both Smoothie and Stroman and felt slightly pleased in his heart.

Afterwards, he looked at Stroman and smiled:

"Well, have you chosen?"

"If you don't know which Devil Fruit to choose, I can recommend one to you."

"If you look down on these, then just wait a bit longer."

Because of Snamon, Lin Yu was able to smoothly recruit Smudge, the Sweet General of the Big Mom Pirates, into his team right now.

Therefore, Lin Yu liked her especially.

Hearing Lin Yu's words, Snamon's gaze swept back and forth over the pile of Devil Fruits, constantly recalling in her mind the introductions he had just given regarding the abilities of these Devil Fruits.

Finally, she directed her gaze toward a Devil Fruit shaped like an archway.

"I choose this one!"

For Snamon, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, so she chose to obtain a Devil Fruit right now.

Moreover, her brother Katakuri had once told her that for Paramecia-type Devil Fruits, as long as they are developed well, there are basically no bad abilities.

Seeing Snamon select the Door-Door Fruit he had obtained from CP9 member Blueno, Lin Yu praised:

"The ability of this Devil Fruit is peculiar; used well, it has special utility. Your judgment is good!"
