Chapter 409: The Human Girl Bai Xing

Bai Xing

Seeing Bai Xing's Sea King talent, Lin Yu's breath caught.

Whoever possessed such an ability would become the ruler of the sea.

The only pity was that Bai Xing's talent had not fully awakened yet; even if he formed a bond with her, he could not choose to acquire it for the time being.

More importantly, although Bai Xing looked big, she still needed a few more years to mature; Lin Yu could not bring himself to do something so perverted.

That was fine too. In a few years, once he had established his own power in the New World and gotten his hands on Big Mom's Soul-Soul Fruit and Kaidou's Fish-Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon, Bai Xing's talent might awaken. When that time came, he could use this ability to overthrow the Celestial Dragons and ascend to Mariejois.

However, Bai Xing's strength was too weak; he still had to find a way to increase her means of self-protection.

Thinking of this, Lin Yu looked at Bai Xing and smiled:

"Bai Xing, I have something I want to give you."

Wang Fei Bai Xing blinked her eyes and said curiously, "Lord Lin Yu, what do you want to give me?"

Lin Yu took a Devil Fruit out of his interdimensional storage box and smiled:

"This is something that lets you freely change your appearance and body shape. Do you want to eat it?"

Wang Fei Bai Xing looked at the Devil Fruit in Lin Yu's hand and said, "Is this a Devil Fruit? I heard that eating one will turn you into a landlubber. I..."

At the end, Bai Xing hesitated somewhat.

The merfolk possessed the world's fastest swimming speed; if she could no longer swim, living on Fish-Man Island would be too troublesome. But Bai Xing also found it hard to refuse Lin Yu's kind intentions.

Perhaps sensing Bai Xing's hesitation, Lin Yu took out another scientific battle suit device and smiled:

"This is a diving suit battle suit. If you wear it, even if you eat a Devil Fruit, you can still swim freely in the water."

This was a fully enclosed scientific diving suit that Lin Yu had Reiju continuously developing; even an ability user wearing it would have no fear of seawater.

More importantly, it was easy to carry and could automatically transform. Even if the user fell into the water, it could activate on its own, isolating the user from direct contact with seawater.

Hearing Lin Yu's words, Bai Xing began to feel tempted.

Seeing this, Lin Yu pressed on while the iron was hot: "Bai Xing, your mother, Queen Otohime, has always wanted the fish-men to live truly under the sun like humans. Don't you want to help her fulfill this wish?"

Wang Fei Bai Xing pressed her lips together and nodded: "I do."

Wang Fei Bai Xing had always known her mother's wish.

Lin Yu spread his hands and said, "Then if you want to fulfill Queen Otohime's wish, you need to have powerful strength. In the Pirate World, the strong prey on the weak. Even someone as kind as you needs to master the power to protect yourself."

"Moreover, don't you want to protect your father and your three royal brothers?"

Hearing these words, Wang Fei Bai Xing's constantly swaying tail stopped.

In the past, it had always been her father and three royal brothers protecting her; she truly did want to protect them in return.

Thinking of the abilities that Sister Robin and Sister Nami had displayed a few days ago, and thinking of her mother's wish, Bai Xing nodded and said:

"Lord Lin Yu, I'm willing to eat the Devil Fruit, but I want a powerful one."

Wang Fei Bai Xing also knew that Lin Yu possessed many Devil Fruits, and that Devil Fruits were divided into strong and weak. Since she was going to eat one, naturally she wanted to eat a powerful one.

Hearing this, Lin Yu laughed and said very certainly, "Your Devil Fruit is absolutely the most powerful kind."

After speaking, Lin Yu peeled the Devil Fruit in his hand and held it up in front of Bai Xing.

Wang Fei Bai Xing stuck out her tongue and ate the Devil Fruit from Lin Yu's hand.

Perhaps because the Devil Fruit was too disgusting to eat, Wang Fei Bai Xing's pretty face scrunched up like a bun.

Then, some indescribable things appeared in her mind.

"Try using the Devil Fruit's ability and see. Imagine transforming into the appearance of a human." Lin Yu said with some anticipation.
