Chapter 106: New Instructor Tian Xiong

The freshman competition, which lasted for half a day, ended here, and a group of teachers and students left the place one after another.

But the ten freshmen in the top ten were left behind.

Huangfu Cheng looked at the ten people and taught them earnestly.

"The school forms battle teams, firstly to tilt resources, facilitate cultivation, and achieve maximum resource utilization."

"Secondly, it is to prepare for the National University Freshman League three months later."

"The form of the league is different every year. It is said that this year it might be carried out in some other-dimensional space."

"Besides testing your personal ability, it also includes intelligence, decision-making, team cooperation ability, and so on!"

"Every year, the Ministry of Education allocates resources to major universities based on the results of this competition, so the school hopes that you will seriously prepare for the battle in these three months and win a good ranking for the school."

Huangfu Cheng said, looking at Chen Fan, his eyes filled with deep hope.

With Chen Fan, the National Martial Arts University had a chance to vie for first place.

"Of course, the rewards for the competition are also very rich." Huangfu Cheng added.

"The ten of you are divided into two school teams and will have special instructors to lead your training."

"In the future, for the first three days of every week, you will be like ordinary freshmen, choosing different courses, such as Ability Full Explanation, Spirit Medicine Identification Encyclopedia, The Essence of Ability, and so on!"

"Of course, the courses are chosen independently according to your own needs!"

"As for the three days of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the instructor will take you for special training, including physique, physical fitness, willpower, and even combat methods, team cooperation, etc., and you will spend a long time in the other-dimensional space."

"Of course, Sunday is left for yourselves; after all, combining work and rest is conducive to the advancement of ability levels."

After Huangfu Cheng finished explaining to everyone, he called the instructors of the two battle teams.

He left his contact information for Chen Fan before leaving.

What surprised Chen Fan was that the instructor of his battle team was Tian Xiong, while the instructor of the other battle team was Zhao Qian.

Now the two were completely competing!

Zhao Qian glanced coldly at Chen Fan and Tian Xiong, his tone cold: "The two battle teams have a sparring match every month. Don't be defeated by our Team 2 by then!"

"Dream on!" Tian Xiong retorted, not being polite at all.

"Wait and see, old grudges and new debts will be settled sooner or later!" Zhao Qian snorted coldly and hurriedly left with the five people of the Ghost Cry Squad.

Chen Fan looked at Tian Xiong, somewhat surprised: "Instructor Tian, you are the Dean of Instruction, can you have time to be our instructor?"

Tian Xiong laughed loudly, extremely excited: "Of course, it's to personally instruct you!"

"I have already agreed with Senior Brother Dai, first resign from the position of Dean, and in the future, I will be responsible for your training!"

Chen Fan was speechless. So, if I don't take you as my master, you're going to instruct me by changing methods, right?

Zhao Mingze and Gao Yuan had contact with Tian Xiong and were relatively familiar.

Wu Yue and Ye Qingling were still somewhat cautious and unable to let go when facing the new instructor.

Tian Xiong patted Chen Fan's shoulder and greeted everyone: "Let's go to my office for a meeting, I'll talk about everyone's course selection."

Chen Fan and the others were helpless. Other freshmen had already left, but they still had to accept the baptism of the new instructor.

Ten minutes later, a few people came to Tian Xiong's office.

After Tian Xiong let everyone find a seat, he commented on everyone's performance in the match and pointed out many shortcomings.

"Take Student Zhao, for example. After your sword path broke through, your killing means indeed increased greatly!"

"However, your mental power is clearly not abundant enough, and your willpower is not tough enough. You only need to use powerful sword moves ten times before your mental power is exhausted."

"Furthermore, your body is fragile, and your close-combat means are very poor. These all need to be improved! Choose a few related courses when selecting courses."

Tian Xiong analyzed it logically, and everyone listened carefully and benefited a lot.

The meeting lasted for a full hour.

Everyone became clear about their course selection.

For example, Chen Fan, he didn't join the Martial Arts Class in high school, so he lacked too much common sense about abilities.

This was what he needed to make up for!

Therefore, he must choose courses about spirit plants, spirit medicines, and the encyclopedia of strange beasts.

Regarding the advancement of weapons, he also needed to consider it.

Tian Xiong suggested he choose a battle halberd, a battle saber, or a long spear!

After thinking about it, Chen Fan finally chose the long spear.

After all, the long spear was most compatible with thunder, and the long spear was like a dragon; a white horse and a silver spear were every man's dream.

But the difficulty of practicing the long spear was extremely great.

There is an old saying: a month for the staff, a year for the saber, a lifetime for the spear.

This shows the difficulty of practicing the long spear!

Tian Xiong suggested he choose an introductory course on basic spear techniques opened by Teacher Zhang Xiuyuan of the Military Academy.

After the crowd dispersed, Chen Fan stayed behind alone.

He asked Tian Xiong secretly: "Instructor Tian, you should have guessed that I am a dual-element ability user, right."

"Hmm!" Tian Xiong nodded.

Chen Fan didn't sell it short and said bluntly: "My other ability is a Beast Transformation ability!"

Chen Fan naturally wouldn't say his true second ability, after all, Mimicry could change into other people's appearance.

It was better not to tell others about this kind of ability specifically used for doing bad things.

"Beast Transformation ability? What a coincidence! It seems we are indeed destined." Tian Xiong raised his eyebrows and hurriedly asked:

"Then what is the strange beast you transform into?"

"Hehe!" Chen Fan smiled mysteriously: "My Beast Transformation ability is relatively special, I can transform into several types of strange beasts."

*Pfft! * Tian Xiong sprayed out the tea he had just drunk.

What? There is such a Beast Transformation ability in the world?

He stared at Chen Fan with burning eyes, curious: "So what exactly can you transform into?"

"Currently, I can only transform into a Thunder Cloud Leopard, a Thunder Falcon, and a Three-Eyed Thunder Ape. As for what I can transform into later, it's hard to say."

"Currently only?" Tian Xiong thought he had misheard and confirmed with Chen Fan again.

Chen Fan scratched his head and made up: "My Beast Transformation ability is a bit special, it will increase one after a period of time, I am also very helpless."

Fine, fine, you're awesome, okay? Tian Xiong was shocked beyond measure.

After a long time, he said: "The strange beasts you transform into are not very strong, but they are versatile!"

"You should be asking me which Beast Transformation combat method is suitable for you, right?"

"Yes." Chen Fan revealed a shy smile and nodded obediently.

After thinking seriously, Tian Xiong said: "There is indeed a combat method suitable for you, called Twelve Paths of True Spirit!"

"The creator of this combat method is Martial Saint Ye Wentian. His close-combat fighting technique was peak back then."

"This was created by him spending more than ten years observing the fighting of 12 different types of strange beasts."

"They correspond to the tiger, leopard, bear, elephant, lion, monkey, ape, eagle, sparrow, peng, crocodile, and snake, a total of 12 forms of different series of moves."

"Therefore, I think this combat method is most compatible with you! After mastering it, your bare-handed fighting can be called invincible."

"Of course, this combat method will be even more handy after you transform!"

"Twelve Paths of True Spirit! Martial Saint Ye's combat method?" Chen Fan's heart was surging.

He was sure this was the combat method he was looking for.

The Mimicry ability was extremely special; as long as he had absorbed the strange beast, he could transform into it. This Twelve Paths of True Spirit was almost all-encompassing, which was most suitable for him. ===== CHAPTER 107 =====
