Chapter 1057: Surprise Attack

Bu Lu Si, leader of the Black Umbrella Mercenary Group.

He had been in the profession for twenty years, participating in countless big and small wars.

But facing Hidden Dragon, he felt a little uncertain.

The past events of the poor country left their memories fresh; at that time, the main force of Hidden Dragon's mercenaries were mostly from Huizhou, and they had already defeated one of their mercenary units, causing them to drop their helmets and abandon their armor,

Now, Hidden Dragon's proportion of Daxia people is nearly seventy percent.

Such Hidden Dragon mercenary combat power has already exceeded their imagination.

The land army is number one in the world, not just empty talk.

That has been acknowledged over time.

Even the little brothers who have only learned a bit of the Daxia people's ways, the Yingjiang often can't beat them, let alone these guys in full condition.

He does not think that Hidden Dragon's backing is only the Yang Family, without Daxia.

In the war room, everyone's expression was solemn.

"I know this operation will be difficult, but you don't need to worry, because the 800 Special Forces will disguise themselves as us and participate in this operation."

"Capture Hidden Dragon, each person gets twenty thousand dollars, and compensation for casualties is five hundred thousand."

"All battlefield gains will be evenly divided among everyone; the company takes no cut."

"We will have air support and usable tank armor."

"The operation's pretext is Grey Wolf's revenge, to avenge comrades who fell in the poor country back then."

"Black Umbrella becomes Grey Wolf?"

"That is to say, they will have all restrictions lifted."

"They can do anything they want."

"Anyway, reputation won't affect Black Umbrella."

"It seems the higher-ups are preparing to consume this Grey Wolf skin."

"If that's the case, then that's great."

"Yes, we've long wanted to clash with Hidden Dragon."

"Start deploying the operation, boss; we're already dying to fight."

"After understanding Bu Lu Si's latent meaning, they have become fearless."

"Because such situations rarely occur, each appearance is their time to make a fortune."

"Even wiping out a village can net them a fortune, let alone a force like Hidden Dragon."

"Bu Lu Si's mouth twitched; fortunately, the people we found are those who have never clashed with Hidden Dragon."

"If we replaced them with those who have fought Hidden Dragon, they wouldn't have this mood."

"Money is good, but you need to be alive to enjoy it; otherwise it's useless."

"Bu Lu Si naturally wouldn't remind them of this."

"He signaled the staff officer beside him to speak."

"This person exudes a stern aura."

"He is clearly very different from ordinary mercenaries."

"Next, I will deploy the operation……"

"Shamen."

"Character: Character: Leng Feng is also preparing to welcome any possible conflict."

"According to reliable intelligence, a mercenary unit has entered the Shepherd People's territory."

"Specific details are unknown."

"But we must prepare for the worst."

"Send out picket posts, then push forward another kilometer."

"Have the early-warning radar operate at full power."

"Keep night combat equipment at hand at all times."

"Always be ready for conflict."

"Also, distribute all ammunition and equipment."

"Maintain readiness to engage in battle at a moment's notice."

"Huang Jun hesitated for a moment and asked:"

"Should we have the refugees prepare?"

"Character: Character: Leng Feng firmly refused."

"Kindness does not command troops."

"The purpose of battle is his first principle."

"If sacrificing everyone is required, he would not frown."

"Everything as usual; do not make any extra movements."

"Once the enemy knows we have long been prepared, it will be more dangerous for us."

"It would likely turn the enemy's sneak attack into a frontal confrontation."

"That is disadvantageous to us."

"Standing firm is our mission this time."

"Huang Jun immediately shut his mouth."

"The orders were quickly passed down."

"The internal atmosphere of the Hidden Dragon mercenaries instantly became solemn."

However, from the outside they still looked the same.

But where ordinary people cannot see, the Qian Long Mercenaries' state of being fully equipped and ready is completely different from the relaxed atmosphere outside.

Some ate, some slept, some maintained equipment, some maintained equipment.

The decoy targets were fully activated.

When the last glow of the setting sun faded, the whole world fell into darkness.

More than twenty thousand Black Umbrella Mercenaries swiftly and silently emerged from various concealed buildings.

Rapid mixing.

Armored vehicles, Humvee assault vehicles, tanks, artillery—one after another entered the road.

Mercenaries kept climbing into vehicles along the road.

The nearby mercenaries soon reached a point less than ten kilometers from the Nanmin Ying.

They quickly gathered, checked their equipment, then advanced toward their respective objectives.

The Hidden Dragon's early-warning airship kept circling in the sky.

Although the monitors showed some infrared images, they did not detect a continuous infrared movement track.

These infrared features would disappear after appearing for a while.

Moreover, they appeared in the Shepherd People's defense zone, so the airship could not detect any abnormality at all.

Only when a large-area armored infrared signature appeared did the airship trigger an alarm.

But it was soon hit by a missile launched from the ground.

At the same time, an explosion sounded.

A large number of shells and rockets rushed toward the Qian Long Mercenaries' gathering point.

Character: Character: Leng Feng heard the explosion and instantly rushed to the command room.

"Launch early-warning drones, launch reconnaissance drones, launch anti-air balloons, launch attack drones, prepare small bombers, and send mechanical dogs and other attack unmanned machines forward 500 meters to engage freely."

"Launch illumination shells."

Buzz buzz buzz...

Facing the explosion, many drones appeared on Hidden Dragon's position.

The Black Umbrella Mercenaries also brought many drones.

They quickly rushed toward the decoy targets made of warm packs.

Boom—

At the Qian Long Mercenaries' base, large numbers of infrared sources disappeared.

Large amounts of barbed wire were also blown apart.

This wave of attack was almost saturation-style.

Fortunately, Character: Character: Leng Feng had prepared early, setting up many decoy targets; even those on patrol outside had their armor fully stacked.

Upon hearing the warning, they instantly rushed to the nearest cover.

"Begin counterattack, full-force counterattack."

"Except for missiles and stealth equipment, launch everything."

Boom—

Rat-tat-tat—

The attack aircraft began launching missiles, heading straight for the tanks.

Inside the Nanmin Ying, a huge explosion also occurred.

Countless people wailed and howled, desperately seeking shelter.

Character: Character: Leng Feng's voice came over the broadcast.

"Please everyone, quickly take shelter in the air raid shelter."

"Please everyone, quickly take shelter in the air raid shelter."

"The Shepherd People have gone mad; they are frantically attacking the Nanmin Ying."

"We, Hidden Dragon, will fight to the very last moment."

"I hope you can survive."

"Dear friends, we will do our utmost."

"If the worst happens, please seek help from various offices and media personnel."

"Also please, offices and media friends, at the end protect as many children as possible."

"They are innocent."

"They are victims."

"What difference is there between an organization that cannot tolerate women and children and a demon?"

"We must fight the devil to the end."
