Chapter 1112: There's always something waiting for you

Seeing Yang Fan and Yang Tianyou left to one side, Yang Qing coughed lightly, then walked toward the study.

Not long after, Yang Fan and Yang Tianyou entered.

Yang Qing had already prepared the tea.

Yang Fan and Yang Tianyou, father and son, sat together for half an hour; in fact, they had been awkward for a long time.

Upon arriving at Yang Qing's place, the two of them let out a sigh of relief at the same time.

"First, have a sip of water."

Yang Qing poured it for them.

The two said nothing, lifted their cups, and slowly took a sip.

After the two relaxed,

Only then did Yang Qing look toward Yang Fan.

"How is it over there?"

Yang Fan organized his thoughts.

"Research on Yueqiu has already yielded some results, with support from tourism projects and lunar soil business; maintaining the Yueqiu base is no problem."

"However, large-scale immigration is still not possible."

"The fundamental problem is still survival; Yueqiu relies too much on Earth to replenish living supplies."

"Yueqiunongchang can only meet part of the nutritional needs."

"At the Desert Farm now, research into synthetic nutrition technology is underway."

"If the energy problem can be completely solved, perhaps synthetic nutrients will become the main means of survival for future immigrants."

"Farm planting is still too extravagant."

Yang Qing neither denied nor affirmed.

"Continue researching; are humans still humans, or do they need to consume food?"

"If we truly abandon conventional eating, it might be better to remodel the body into machines, minimizing the body's nutritional needs."

"We cannot give up the possibility of humanity continuing to evolve as a complete being."

"Semi-mechanization is merely an alternative."

"Lanxing possesses abundant flora and fauna; there will surely be a species, or at least some genes, suitable for survival on Yueqiu."

"Searching for new substitute food is an important project."

"Moreover, Heavenly Vessel cannot just focus on itself."

"Daxia's aerospace industry is already very complete; Ma Yilong has taken root here and is quickly catching up to Heavenly Vessel."

"What we cannot complete ourselves, we will put out for public tender."

"Leave it to the companies of the entire industrial chain to strive."

"Furthermore, farm technology also needs improvement; we must make good use of Yueqiu's countless caves."

"Using existing caves to construct bases and farms is a feasible solution that many have argued for; it can be studied in depth."

"The Mars probe has already collected a lot of data."

"Mars sample return will also be coming back soon."

"Heavenly Vessel had best establish a Mars project team, using artificial intelligence and robots, to attempt to build a survival base on Mars."

"Gather sufficient information for Mars immigration."

"The technology there at Nuolan is already very advanced."

"Yang Fan flipped through his phone, found a place, and handed it to Yang Qing."

"This is the location we have chosen."

"Heavenly Vessel has long begun research in this area."

"The Mars base designed after the Yueqiu base is almost completed."

"This time we have designed many professional robots."

"Leaving Lanxing is one of Heavenly Vessel's goals."

"Yang Qing flipped through, looking."

"Very good, not bad; then I won't say more."

"Let's talk about the Desert Plan."

"Yang Fan organized the data again."

"The government has now completed the demonstration of two water resource allocation plans."

"Transfer flood-season water resources to the desert."

"Furthermore, the government has begun to expand development of underground water resources in the desert."

"The profits obtained are used for the desert project."

"Currently, our underground water reservoir and water network have achieved great success."

"A large amount of water resources has been saved."

"The Desert Farm, thanks to government subsidies, still has decent profits."

"The construction of farms around the desert belt has completed its demonstration."

"It has already attracted a large number of investors to join."

"In the future, the Desert Farm will only get better."

"Supporting several cities with populations in the millions is no problem."

"Yang Qing looked toward Yang Tianyou."

"Tianyou, Yizhou wants to take Qiongzhou as a reference; although that is possible, if you truly want to stand out, copying others entirely won't work."

Yizhou possesses maritime advantages.

It can promote deep-sea development.

Especially the development of deep-sea oil and gas resources.

Before he could finish speaking, Yang Tianyou interjected.

Didn't you tell me to rest?

Yang Qing stared, then said.

You don't like government affairs, do you?

So now is the time to gradually withdraw.

I never said you should do nothing; you're still young—can you stay idle?

The Yang Family has some related technology that can be handed to you; with the development of the aerospace industry, methane prices have risen now.

We need a cheaper fuel source.

Coordinate with the Yang Family!

Yang Tianyou never imagined he could also enter the Yang Family's core industry.

This is to let him oversee a direction.

Maritime industry? Deep-sea industry? Gas resources?

Yang Qing added.

You can also try the shipping industry.

Your cooperation with the Western world is deeper; you can make use of it.

Hidden Dragon has already driven a nail into a shipping lane.

For other shipping lanes, you can also have Hidden Dragon or Jingmen cooperate.

Shipping safety is the future's theme.

Yang Tianyou nodded, then shook his head.

Do you want me to integrate Yizhou's shipping industry?

It's difficult; there are many people here with close ties to the West.

Some are even puppets of the Yingjiang conglomerate.

Getting them to cooperate is too hard.

Yang Fan.

We still have several shipping companies in Gangdao.

We also control some docks worldwide.

The shipping company affiliated with SF Express is also not small in scale.

Jingmen also secretly controls some shipping companies.

So you needn't worry about those people in Yizhou; our overall market dominance is not small.

We previously had no ideas about this.

Now the old master wants to strengthen his say in this area, which coincides with your desire to gradually retire.

You can make use of these resources.

Your grandfather probably fears future turmoil.

The situation in Yingjiang is getting worse.

He gave Yang Tianyou a few pointers from the side.

Yang Tianyou……

This is not what I imagined.

I've already let myself retire, wanting to do whatever I want, so how did I end up continuing to work?

And they've laid it out for me in clear detail.

Although I myself don't have the idea of idling, is this really okay?

Refuse?

He also realized this is compensation from Yang Qing and his son.

If I don't want it, I shouldn't take it for nothing.

I want to first do well these few years; other matters can be discussed after I step down.

Yang Qing and Yang Fan glanced at each other.

They didn't say much more.

Yizhou wants to develop, but opportunities are not many.

Yang Qing's conditions are very tempting.
