Chapter 198: Earning Hong Kong Dollars Is Not Easy! (Please Subscribe)

At the cocktail party venue, a group of people from the Mainland gathered in twos and threes to exchange in low voices.

The atmosphere was quite harmonious, and laughter came out from time to time.

Being able to come to Hong Kong to earn Hong Kong dollars, everyone was in quite a happy mood!

Chairman Liao stood in the corner, seeing such a scene, he was very happy.

"More and more Mainland comrades are coming to work in Hong Kong; they should communicate often!"

He said to the senior management of the resident company beside him: "If there is anything we can help with, we shouldn't be stingy; we must make their work smooth and their lives smooth during their stay in Hong Kong!"

"Old Liao is right!"

The resident institution representative beside him echoed: "Most of the Mainland comrades who have come to Hong Kong recently are people in the cultural and sports circles; once they become famous, they can have considerable influence!"

"If we cooperate well, it will also be of great help to our work in Hong Kong!"

Another institution senior management said: "Looking at the approach of that Wusheng from ATV, I'm afraid that more and more Mainland film and television talents will come to Hong Kong in the future!"

"I know!"

Chairman Liao laughed lightly: "ATV's demand for TV drama production is very large, and Wusheng is not satisfied with the TV drama types of the past and wants to increase the production of novel types of films!"

"Fengrui Film and Television also needs a large number of professional talents; after all, the production of more than a dozen films a year is not a joke!"

"Just the number of directors and photographers alone cannot be fully satisfied by Hong Kong!"

"Also, novels, comics, and other peripherals all need a large number of professional talents to fill!"

"Wusheng is amazing!"

At this time, one of the middle-level members of the Huaxia Agency said: "It hasn't been long, and he has made such a big move; he is quite powerful!"

"And, his relationship with us is quite good; we must cooperate well with his work!"

"Definitely, otherwise how could the Mainland relax the restrictions on civilian masters coming to Hong Kong?"

Chairman Liao laughed: "Before, they were quite reluctant, and some masters from the sports department were not happy to come; now hearing the income of the 32 strong players, I'm afraid they are so envious that their eyes are going to be red!"

"This session is not good, isn't there the third session in the second half of the year?"

The sports institution official said: "This time, it was still a bit hasty!"

"The income at the moment is just the small head!"

Chairman Liao reminded: "When it reaches the top 8, the income will be called astonishing!"

"According to the current trend of development, it is estimated that each of the top 8 players will have a huge income of at least one million Hong Kong dollars; by then, we must distribute profits according to the rules!"

He just reminded casually, to avoid everyone's face looking bad by then.

"So exaggerated?"

That sports institution cadre was surprised: "I have recently read the income situation of the players in the previous session; isn't it only the income of the top 4 players that exceeded one million?"

"Wusheng told me!"

Chairman Liao said leisurely: "This time, ATV's preparation is more sufficient, the exposure is larger, and the means of commercial realization are more, so the income has come up!"

"The most important thing is that they have reached cooperation with Shengli Beer, Pepsi, and Jianlibao!"

"For every can of cooperative beverage with a photo sold, the person involved can get an income of 5 cents to 1 dime; if 100,000 cans are sold, the income is quite considerable!"

"There are also other realization channels, as well as the final competition rewards; adding up to more than one million is a simple matter, as long as the popularity of the competition is maintained!"

Speaking of this, Chairman Liao paused and continued: "Even if the competition ends, the subsequent profit sharing of novels, comics, and game rights can still be maintained for about half a year!"

"So, as long as the players have enough ability, wanting to get rich by this is not a difficult matter!"

"Such an exaggerated income, it will definitely cause a huge uproar when going back!"

The sports institution cadre said with a bitter smile: "I'm afraid the competition quota for the second half of the year will be broken!"

"Still have to have real ability!"

Chairman Liao reminded: "I heard that the third session of the competition in the second half of the year will invite masters from various countries in Southeast Asia to participate; I'm afraid the competition will be even more intense!"

Seeing that the sports institution cadre was dismissive, he couldn't help but sigh in his heart, and then introduced the situation of the Southeast Asian Martial Arts Tournament that had been held since the 70s.

Quite a few traditional martial arts masters with great fame in Hong Kong had very average performances in the competition.

Even, it could be said to be embarrassing.

"Especially Muay Thai and Burmese Boxing, each one is quite fierce and domineering!"

Speaking of this, Chairman Liao stopped talking.

After all, he was not from the sports department; saying too much would inevitably be annoying.

As a local snake in Hong Kong, he wouldn't hide it when he should remind, but saying too much was not very appropriate.

Most of the Mainland people who attended the cocktail party subconsciously pulled away from Chairman Liao and them.

They were just ordinary professional people, and it was too uncomfortable to be with Chairman Liao and them.

Except for the boxers in the sports circle, the most numerous people present were those in the film and television circle.

"Teacher Li, I heard that you participated in the TV drama screenwriting work of ATV; how do you feel?"

A group of professional people from the Mainland film studio were gathering together to inquire about each other's situation curiously.

When they learned that Teacher Li, Teacher Li, who had a scholarly air, had actually participated in the TV drama screenwriting work of ATV, they became interested and asked.

"Fast, the rhythm is fast, and the efficiency is also fast!"

Teacher Li was a bit constrained; after all, he was just a high school history teacher.

Of course, after coming to Hong Kong and participating in the TV drama screenwriting work of ATV, both his confidence and self-confidence increased a lot, and he didn't stutter when speaking.

"Oh, how fast is it?"

A photographer from the film studio asked curiously: "Isn't it just shooting a TV drama? Can it still be shot into a flower?"

"I heard from ATV staff that "Romance of Zhengde" plans to take scenes in the Mainland, and it will probably be shot for about 40 episodes, and the shooting and post-production will take half a year in total!"

Teacher Li said with a bitter smile: "I don't understand the TV drama shooting situation in the Mainland, and I don't know if such a speed is fast; anyway, I feel the rhythm is really fast!"

"I cooperate in writing the script; if it weren't for the help of a complete outline, I really wouldn't be able to handle it!"

"Actually so fast?"

The members of the film studio who came to Hong Kong couldn't help but gasp in unison.

They didn't know the TV drama shooting situation in the Mainland very well either.

But they were too familiar with the rhythm of shooting movies.

Like the romantic movie "Lushan Love" that caused a sensation, from preparation to shooting to post-production editing, it was easily more than a year.

This was still a contemporary romantic film!

The "Romance of Zhengde" in Teacher Li's mouth was clearly a historical drama!

According to their past work habits, the shooting of such historical dramas was quite time-consuming.

For movies of the same length, it was easy for the Mainland to shoot for two or three years.

But what did they hear? ATV wanted to shoot 40 episodes, and also had to go to the Mainland to take scenes, and the final finished film time was only a mere half a year?

Thinking about it made people feel incredible!

Now, they understood the meaning of "fast rhythm and fast efficiency" in Teacher Li's mouth.

They came to Hong Kong this time to cooperate with Fengrui Film and Television to shoot movies.

Originally, everyone was quite happy, feeling that it was very good to be able to come to Hong Kong to see the world and earn Hong Kong dollars.

But now, everyone was very guilty.

If the rhythm of shooting movies by Fengrui Film and Television was also so fast, could they adapt to it?

During the adaptation period, wouldn't they be busy to death?

"Teacher Li, you came to Hong Kong one step ahead of us!"

Another deputy director of the film studio asked: "Do you know the time span of shooting movies in Hong Kong?"

"I have heard of this!"

Teacher Li nodded and explained: "The efficiency of shooting movies here in Hong Kong is also very fast!"

"Anything under one million is a low-budget movie, with a shooting and production cycle of at most a month!"

"I specifically inquired before; the folk fantasy type movies that are very popular in the Mainland, Hong Kong could release one a month at the beginning!"

"Most of the movies invested by Fengrui Film and Television are small and medium-budget movies, and the shooting and production cycle is not long; after all, every day the crew starts working, it's all money!"

Hearing this, the people from the Mainland film studio who came to Hong Kong looked at each other,

Secretly complaining in their hearts, it seems that the days ahead will not be very good.

Here, the people from the Shanghai Animation Film Studio also gathered around, and the leader asked Teacher Li: "Teacher Li, you work at ATV; do you know the situation of ATV playing animation?"

"I really know something about animation!"

Teacher Li nodded and said: "ATV doesn't produce animation itself; it basically buys from outside!"

"Like the animation from the United States and the little Japan, it is the main force of playing!"

He himself was not old, and after coming to Hong Kong, he entered ATV to work directly.

He was very obsessed with the TV dramas produced by ATV and the animation played.

Over time, coupled with intentional collection, he naturally knew some relevant situations.

In fact, ATV spent very little on animation procurement!

It is said that it was only recently that the TV station became wealthy, and Wu Feng, as the boss, was willing to spend money, which led to the idea of self-produced animation.

Of course, self-produced animation was a part of the periphery of the "Unlimited Fighting Tournament"; he certainly didn't know these situations.

But even so, the leader of the Shanghai Animation Film Studio who took the initiative to ask was already quite satisfied.

In fact, ATV just asked them to process animation, but for the Shanghai Animation Film Studio, which was in trouble, it was naturally a good thing that the more the better.

If it were just a one-time cooperation, it would be too regrettable.

Now knowing that ATV basically produces animation itself in the future, the processing contract of the Shanghai Animation Film Studio can continue, which is definitely good news for the Shanghai Animation Film Studio.

Just at this time, Wu Feng, under the guidance of the staff, strode into the cocktail party hall.

"Wusheng, here!"

Chairman Liao had sharp eyes and saw Wu Feng entering the door for the first time, greeting him with a light laugh.
