Chapter 282: True God Returns to His Position, Taiyin Origin Fetus

The rules for the sacrifice to the Taiyin were followed by Xu Jia according to the *Jingming Yellow Scripture*.

Its full title is the *High Moon Palace Taiyin Origin Lord Filial Piety Immortal King Lingbao Jingming Yellow Scripture*.

As the saying goes, the essence of extreme Yang is the Sun, the essence of extreme Yin is the Moon; one Yin and one Yang is called the Dao.

The Sun governs the illumination of the six directions, soothing and harmonizing the ten thousand things.

The Taiyin governs the solemn stillness of the eight wildernesses, bright and glorious.

This scripture is also one of the superior "Dual Running" methods and is one of the fundamental Daoist methods of the Jingming Dao; Xu Jia also intends to use this method to run to the moon.

The bright moon shines in the sky; on the Taiyin Mandala, forty-nine Daoists chant the Taiyin Scripture and Edicts in unison.

Below the altar, there are tens of thousands of people, all casting their gazes upon the altar; the gaze is divine light, and thus the Taiyin Dharma Altar also mobilizes the faith and wishes of the myriad common people, entrusting them with beautiful blessings.

"In the Great Luo Heaven, within the Seven Treasures Garden.

Holding the essence of metal and water, the appearance is graceful; based on the gentleness of the Earth, the auspicious signs are dignified... Opening the divine light of the jade candle, the family is touched by clear grace; refining the spiritual medicine of the purple chamber, people are granted long life... Moon Palace Taiyin, Jie Lin Imperial Lord, Baoguang Zhao Rulai, Wonderful Fruit Plain Moon Heavenly Venerable."

As the scripture and edicts rose, no changes were seen in reality, but in the Dharma Realm, there were already ten thousand auspicious signs.

Three feet above, there were sweet osmanthus flowers hanging down with yellow essence, lush and green, with cinnabar-plain osmanthus flowers and bright yellow osmanthus seeds, hanging in clusters like grapes.

Behind the overlapping osmanthus trees were pavilions and high platforms, the Guanghan Qingxu Zhi Fu, inside which were many Immortals, deities, all kinds of attendants, and fairy maidens, all cultivating the Jie Lin Moon-Running Technique; only the Emperor, the Taiyin Star Lord, was seen, accompanied by the Five Emperors' Consorts of the Taiyin, along with hundreds of Lingguan and Zhenjun of the moon...

Xu Jia originally only felt that the moon was the right eye, but now observing it, the moon is also the essence of Yin, corresponding to the "Sea of Yin Meridians" in the human body's meridians, namely the Ren Meridian; thus, the left eye, the essence of Yang, corresponds to the "Sea of Yang Meridians" in the human body's meridians, namely the so-called Du Meridian.

The Ren and Du Meridians correspond to the two dimensions of Yin and Yang in the human body; for Xu Jia to refine the related gods, he needs these two Sun and Moon Emperors as leaders.

Although the Sun and Moon Emperors are not the main officials of the Primordial Spirit, they can be considered the main officials of the Three Primes and the masters of all spirits.

Within the human body, they are second only to the Emperor of the Zi Fu Primordial Spirit.

Having grasped this intent, Xu Jia lowered the true intent and stored it in the divine origin.

These strange phenomena were not the Taiyin Emperor in person, but rather ten thousand Dharma thoughts descending and sensing, hearing the sacrifice of the Jiao Ritual, and being summoned by the true Immortal Earth Immortal, coming specifically to protect.

It was just that Xu Jia found one of the Zhenjun and the disciples behind him familiar; looking closely, sizing them up, the figure carrying a sword—was it not the Jingming Dharma Lord, Xu Zhenjun the Heavenly Master? Xu Jia looked at him, and he also looked at Xu Jia with a smile.

"The disciple respectfully reports to the upper table... praying for the spiritual atmosphere of Yushan, that heaven and earth may obtain their righteous energy, the fetal light profound essence... five-colored auspicious signs..."

Ten thousand moonbeams gathered into silver olives, falling from the moon.

Falling on plants, the plants grew in nature and spirit. Falling on animals, the animals gained enlightenment.

Whether it was foxes, weasels, or any other small demons, bowing to the moon brought returns ten or a hundred times greater than in the past.

Especially the little foxes following Xu Jia; after eating the silver olive moonbeams, golden olive moonbeams fell, and as the golden olive moonbeams descended, jade-colored olive moonbeams followed...

These are all "Imperial Dew".

Imperial Dew can be obtained by praying to the moon during the full moon on the Gengshen day, not once every sixty years.

It was just that the little foxes had never fought such a wealthy battle.

One by one, they were soon able to "exit the shell," meaning their souls were nourished and their Daoist Practice increased.

The souls that had received Xu Jia's edification were all like children, cute and pretty; those that had not received edification still retained some of their original form and nature, and their souls did not resemble humans.

Seeing such a scene, the Fenglei Daoren who had turned into a hen was stunned; she had never seen anyone sacrifice to the Taiyin and receive so much positive feedback.

Although Imperial Dew is not a very rare thing, having it fall like rain without cost is unheard of.

Although the Dharma Jiao Altar ritual is not empty, generally, the True Gods do not pay attention to people, and only some subordinate officials and assistant gods descend to the altar.

Not to mention anything else, take the Luo Tian Jiao Ritual; the Lishan Sect had participated in one before, where hundreds of Daoist temples in Changan and its surroundings sent scripture groups to set up the Jiao at the Zhongnan Mountain Tower Viewing Terrace to pray for the country, clear the demonic atmosphere of the Qinling Mountains, and incidentally bless the three Immortal Zhenjun; as a result, although 1,200 Jiao positions were set up for the Luo Tian Jiao Ritual, very few of the various gods and venerables descended to the altar.

At this moment, the Giant Python Mountain peak suddenly began to shake, and the entire Yushan felt the tremors.

This sense of shaking was nothing else but the "nature and spirit" of the Mountain God, Chang Yu, being strengthened, and the tribulation of Dao-transformation and petrification being overcome.

The Mountain God, returns to his position.

Yushan, bathed in the nourishment of the moonbeams and Imperial Dew, saw its entire foundation strengthened.

If it were an evil seed, it would have been enough for the Heishan Laoyao to take form and emerge, but because it followed the correct method, the requirements were higher.

Seeing the earth shake and the mountains sway, Xu Jia shouted: "Evil creature, what are you doing? Why not abandon the stubborn shell and ascend to the position with your divine soul?"

Immediately, the shaking stopped; Chang Yu abandoned the petrification of the Giant Python Mountain, and a strange cry was heard, like a cow and like a tiger, followed by all the primordial Qi of the Sanqing Mountain Realm... the Earthly Kun Origin Qi, the Mountain Gen Earth Qi, the Jia Wood Cang Qi, the Yi Wood Qing Qi...

Ordinary people could not see these Qi; they only revealed colors in the Dharma Realm, gathering together like the sky turning into an ink wash painting; then, beneath the earth, a strong vitality erupted like a volcano.

The next moment, the giant python was reborn and exited the shell; its body was huge, with a massive head located at the east of Yushan, facing the Taiyin, and its tail at the west of Yushan, spanning across the sky above Yushan County and Dexing County, at least a hundred miles long.

However, its tail was also a head, only smaller than the one that came out first.

The central part of its abdomen did not leave the mountain range, as if it were grown inside; if one were to pull it out, the earth would collapse and the mountains would be destroyed; it coiled tightly on the mountain range, and when it opened its eyes, the Yushan Dharma Realm became a realm of light, and when it closed its eyes, it turned into a dark sky.

Xu Jia, on the Dharma Altar, gave his evaluation.

After Chang Yu was born, the might of an Earth Immortal, or rather a "genuine Earth Deity," began to ripple among the mountains.

All plants bowed in submission, and birds and beasts came to pay homage, celebrating the return of the Mountain God, as the myriad spirits in the mountains now had someone to rely on.

But the next moment, Chang Yu's huge Dharma Realm figure began to contract, turning into a slightly young man with a golden dot between his eyebrows; this part was pure Yang, while the other parts were pure Yin, and all were condensed from Taiyin Dharma Power; it was Xu Jia using the Taiyin Ritual to operate the spirituality... from then on, he would specialize in cultivating Divine Nature and not cultivate the physical body, or rather, Yushan was his physical body, and the Giant Python Mountain was his molted skin.

"Gouchen!"

The Lishan Fenglei Daoren was extremely surprised, and even after turning into a hen, she did not forget to pace back and forth.

As mentioned earlier, the Lishan Sect worships the Doumu, and the Doumu gave birth to Gouchen and Ziwei, as well as the seven stars of the Big Dipper.

This appearance of Gouchen in Chang Yu is not the Gouchen of the heavenly stars, but the Gouchen of the Earth Axis. From the Gengyue mountain range, he practiced Qi to transform into a Tengshe, then was enfeoffed by Xu Jia as the Earth Axis Gouchen. Later, he survived the Five Hundred Year Earth Immortal Tribulation, his physical body turned to stone, and his Primordial Spirit shifted to practice the Divine Path, merging with the spirituality of Yushan. He obtained the method of the Taiyin Ritual and achieved the status of an Earth Deity Yin Spirit... he even manifested a portion of the characteristics of a "Candle Dragon," becoming the master of the Yushan Dharma Realm. The next step would be to construct a Blessed Land and Cave Heaven.

He bowed before Xu Jia's altar and said in a loud voice, "Lingbao Earth Office Gouchen Altar-Suppressing Marshal and Yushan Earth Deity, pays respects to Heavenly Master and Dharma Lord Xu Jia, the Supreme True One!"

Xu Jia laughed heartily and said, "Today you have succeeded in your tribulation and the True God has taken his position. Henceforth, work diligently in cultivation and education, accumulate much Merit, and fulfill your role as the Commander of our Jiangnan West Circuit Earth Office Yamen, in charge of the martial duties of Destroying Mountains and Breaking Temples, and searching altars and sealing caves."

"I shall strictly obey the Dharma decree!"

Xu Jia continued the Jiao Ritual, offering all kinds of tributes to the Moon Goddess, including various pastries and cakes, fragrant flowers, and fresh fruits. He also repeated the chanting of the Taiyin Scripture and, following the Taiyin ritual positions, praised every deity in the Taiyin lineage. Only then did he slowly withdraw the spirits and respectfully send them off.

The various Taiyin gods of the Dharma Realm indeed drove the cold moon, and the leader, the Taiyin Star Lord, drove a six-dragon laurel carriage, preparing to return to the palace.

It was at this moment that Xu Jia reacted. He moved his body, his Primordial Spirit left his body, and, utilizing the laurel fragrance trail from the dragon carriage's exhaust, he cleverly dashed along the way and mingled into the procession.

The maidservant holding the banner rolled her eyes. Families, who understands this! Encountered a stalker shrimp-head man...

Xu Jia did not want to rush to the Guanghan Palace; he just smiled slightly, "I am only breaking off a laurel branch."

The next moment, he performed a somersault and hopped onto the laurel god-tree, which had not yet dissipated in the sky of the Dharma Realm and was bearing countless olive-like Imperial Dew fruits.

This laurel god-tree, in the Lotus Lantern, is transformed from the "sweat hair of Pangu."

In fact, it is also the "Root of Heaven and Earth," and it is of the same lineage as the "Ginseng Fruit Tree" inside Xu Jia's belly. It is the "Medicine Root" of Taiyin Spirit Machine scattered into the human world. The so-called moonlight and Imperial Dew are both Taiyin Small Medicine, and they are no different from kidney water. Sunlight, or fire mulberry seeds, Golden Crow eggs, and the like, are Taiyang Small Medicine, and they are no different from heart fire. When Yin and Yang are balanced, the work of heaven and earth is complete, and all living beings obtain their medicine, which is why they can grow sturdily.

The power of matter comes from the sun, and the power of spirituality comes from the moon.

This laurel tree has dark, mysterious roots with prominent green veins. Its leaves are like yellow glaze, and its branches are like white crystal. The rich moonlight turned into dew and condensed upon it. When the dew drops hung down, they transformed into olive-like fruits, hence "flowing dew"...

Xu Jia plucked a branch and felt his Yin Spirit freeze where he touched it. At the same time, a phantom appeared under the tree: it was a White Toad.

Just as Xu Jia was about to defend himself, this White Toad said shyly, "Heavenly Master Xu, has your Duobao Golden Toad found a match?"

The next moment, Xu Jia's feet slipped... the Moon Palace Dharma Realm escaped into the void, leaving only one branch in his hand.

Xu Jia pondered secretly, "Could this Jade Toad also have developed Desire Thoughts? If it has developed Desire Thoughts, I fear it will descend to the mortal world..."

His Soul returned to his physical body, and the laurel branch had already been planted by Xu Jia into the Body God palace constructed in his right eye.

Immediately, he catalyzed the Yin Qi within his body, and a Spirit Embryo condensed. The Qi of Taiyin, Lesser Yin Array, and Jueyin—the three Yins—gathered here. The next moment, the Spirit Embryo transformed and emerged, becoming a pale female child with white hair and white eyebrows, but with red eyes.

"Xuanyingji pays respects to the Emperor!"

As expected of one of the seven orifices on the head, and specifically pointed and transformed by Xu Jia using Taiyin Qi, she was very clever as soon as she was born, unlike the other Body God attendants, who were somewhat dull.

Xu Jia nodded slightly.

Xuanyingji said, "Emperor, solitary Yin does not grow; one must cultivate both nature and life. This little god is in charge of the key to nature cultivation. As for the Yin Spirit of the human body, Emperor, you should soon point and transform my companion, Xujiansheng, as well. With this Yin and Yang harmony, there will be hope of entering the realm of God Immortals."

"That is naturally so."

Xu Jia withdrew from the Inner Landscape Blessed Land, and Xuanyingji transformed into the moon phase of the Inner Landscape.

The heavenly beings of Xu Jia's Inner Landscape Blessed Land were essentially the hungry ghosts Xu Jia had delivered. At this time, they sensed the Inner Landscape moonlight, and they were all extremely Joyous. They began to praise Xu Jia, allowing them to bathe in the moonlight once again and obtain the power of Taiyin...

"The Taiyin Ritual has ended!" Xu Jia announced. However, he set up the tablet for his father's Birth Date and Eight Characters, wrote the Wenchang Talisman on it, and then placed a real laurel flower in front of the tablet to bless it... relying on the principle of mysterious luck to add a bit of confidence for his father, Xu Zhiyuan, to pass the imperial examination.

However, these were all heterodox methods, not the proper way of studying, and might not be useful.

After finishing this, Xu Jia said again, "The Jiao Ceremony is over. All believers who participated in the ritual can go to the front to receive a gift: one Taiyin Dharma Money consecrated by the ritual!"

After the Golden Toad became the Wealth God, he began to master the technique of minting coins. According to Xu Jia's instructions, a total of 50,000 copper coins were minted this time. The front of the copper coin was inscribed with "Lingbao of the Three Pure Ones," and the back with "Taiyin Yellow Essence."

These copper coins were slightly larger than the copper coins on the market, used more material, and were golden in color; they were all new coins.

When these commoners heard that there were gifts to be had, they were about to scramble and crowd. If they were not restrained, people would be trampled and crushed into meat paste.

Xu Jia shouted, "Stop!"

He then said, "Three feet above one's head there are spirits. This item is one per person; do not scramble. Taking more is a curse, not a blessing. Line up to receive them. If you are not a child apprenticing to a master, you may go down the mountain after receiving yours."

The commoners quieted down immediately and began to line up honestly; they still needed to be "led!"

Among them, a few with "management temperament" even took the initiative to maintain order and direct the crowd.

The Daoists of Shanju Guan had already begun to distribute the Dharma Money to everyone.

Taking them and leaving made things fast. More than 20,000 people finished receiving them in just half an hour. The remaining Taiyin Dharma Money was packed into jars, and when the statue of Taiyin Star Lord was sculpted on the mountain, they could be placed inside the statue's consecration chamber.

As for those who truly intended to apprentice, some began to clean up the trash on the mountain.

Xu Jia was very satisfied. He estimated that about 3,000 people remained... these were the roots of the future.

However, they still had to be screened. For example, those with character problems could not be accepted.

For this, Xu Jia invited the Yeyou God.

The Yeyou God brought the City God's Wicked Mirror for judgment, and at the same time, Shanju Guan prepared 100 mirrors.

In batches of 100, they were shone into the mirrors, and the Yeyou God could use the Divine Ability of the Wicked Mirror to pick out those with poor character and morality.

Soon, after a round of this, more than half were screened out...

That's right, many people had very low moral baselines and poor character.

This could not be blamed on them personally; it was only because the surrounding environment had always been like this, and they had never received a good education...

Xu Jia said, "You all have karmic Cause and Effect from your past lives. Go down the mountain. If you can make a vow to do one good deed a day and come back next year, you will certainly be recorded..."

These youths hung their heads in disappointment. In their minds, they thought of the wrong things they had done in the past. Some were ashamed, some annoyed, some angry, but as soon as anyone caused trouble, they were blown away by a gust of evil wind and thrown down the mountain.

Xu Jia did not play the "put down the butcher's knife and become a Buddha on the spot" game. If there was a problem, there was a problem; he could not ignore their criminal records.

Of the remaining 1,200 children, Xu Jia thought and said, "Sanqing Palace will only accept 300 Daoist children for the time being. That is to say, 900 of you will still be eliminated. Now you can choose to continue or voluntarily give up!"

After Xu Jia finished speaking, some children who were not confident or whose hearts for seeking the Dao were indifferent left voluntarily...

After half an hour, only about 500 remained.

Xu Jia waved his hand, "You are all temporarily qualified. The next step is a one-year trial. During this period, you must help build the Daoist temple, cook and wash vegetables, burn fire and chop wood, using this as a test... At any time from now on, if you feel you cannot take it, you can tell the managing Daoists and then take your money and go down the mountain..."
