Chapter 402: Creating a Spirit Vein on Jijuezi Mountain

~12 min read 2,229 words

Xu Jia has always believed that cultivating immortality is "idealistic" and involves "borrowing the false to cultivate the true." The so-called Dharma Realm is also the conscious energy of all living beings, or perhaps something that transcends the consciousness of all living beings.

Humans possess a physical shell, and its most important, most crucial function is not reproduction, nor eating, drinking, or excreting; it is to bear the intensity of a soul and to carry the operation of a mind, whether individual or collective.

Individual evolution is manifested in wisdom, while collective evolution is manifested in the operational logic of social models.

Of course, there are also many people and many things that operate incorrectly, but they can also be continuously optimized.

Exploration in the material realm is finite, while exploration in the spiritual realm is infinite. Only wisdom and civilization can determine the height one can reach on a cosmic scale.

This seems a bit too lofty and too metaphysical.

But think carefully: aside from the mind being able to reverse time and dreams being able to foresee the future, there seems to be no better way to intervene in time at a physical level.

The level of the soul is a higher level. This is why Taoists practice; the lowest level of liberation is the "Ghost Immortal" or "Corpse Severance Immortal," detaching from the physical body to enter a higher level of thought and continue practicing within the Dharma Realm.

Take ascension, for example: Yang Spirit ascension involves refining the physical body, refining it from a tangible form into an intangible one, where gathering and dispersing are controlled by the mind. The Primordial Spirit carries the body along to ascend to a higher dimension; in essence, this is a process of breaking down and restructuring.

But now, this method tells Xu Jia that Spirit Qi particles are things that can exist in the material world; they are the "Yin Qi" of the Dharma Realm combined with the "Yang Qi" of the real world. The collision and union of Yin and Yang create "Spirit."

The saying "A mountain need not be high; it is famous if there is an Immortal. A lake need not be deep; it is magical if there is a Dragon" is actually a kind of thing bred at the seam between the Yin and Yang realms where Yin Qi and Yang Qi combine.

Of course, this is not a simple combination; it requires a combination that conforms to the Daoism of Heaven and Earth, much like the Cave Heaven Blessed Land of the Taoists, which allows people to practice.

Xu Jia also knows how to open up a Cave Heaven Blessed Land, but he only knows that it is so without knowing why. This text provides the basic theory.

Plants and trees that obtain Spirit Qi will develop "spirituality," and animals will develop "spiritual wisdom."

The "spirit" in Spirit Qi and the "spirit" in spirituality are essentially the same thing; they act upon both the physical body and the soul simultaneously. Spirit Qi can transform the three treasures of the human body: "Essence, Qi, and Spirit."

Xu Jia spent all the Wish Power Dharma Coins he had on him to exchange for this method.

It must be said, this place is fine for now, as Spirit Qi has not yet withered. Xu Jia is creating a Cave Heaven Blessed Land at Sanqing Mountain, and furthermore, in the sea, Ao Jia, this South Sea Dragon, is presiding over the water luck. In fact, this is creating a "Heavenly Vein," increasing Spirit Qi within the seawater, which then reaches every corner of the world along with ocean currents and rainfall, ultimately elevating this small world to a middle-thousand world and completing his merit and deeds.

Of course, this is an incomparably complex task that only the "Divine Path" would undertake; the Immortal Path rarely does.

Therefore, the Huangtian tradition leans more towards the Divine Path; it is more about "benefiting Heaven and Earth, and then being nurtured by Heaven and Earth in return." What is cultivated is "Virtue"—Water Virtue, Qian Virtue, Earth Virtue. Virtue is a higher-level thing than "Spirit Qi," conforming to the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth, and can earn one a "Rank."

Xu Jia studied this Huangtian tradition and felt as if the door to a new world had been opened. He secretly said: "Ling Bao Lao Ye, your Lingbao Register Method is easy to use, but if things go on like this, I will be contaminated by the Huangtian Daoism."

Complaining is just complaining, but the Huangtian Daoism is merely a "technique." The foundation of his practice still lies in "Lingbao." Xu Jia's Lingbao is a kind of thought, passed down for thousands and ten thousand years without changing its color.

This is a "Tradition," and a tradition is much higher than any technique, method, or momentum.

After studying it for a while, Xu Jia discovered that this thing actually follows the same principle as his own "Great Yellow Court Inner Landscape Heaven and Earth Method." The so-called "Micro Spirit Vein" is nothing more than the meridians through which Qi travels in the human body's acupoints.

One needs to connect the Yin vein of the Dharma Realm with the Yang vein of the Yang world and run them along the "Spirit Vein." The nodes of the Spirit Vein are the acupoints. Running Qi through a Small Heavenly Circuit to complete a small cycle allows it to be driven continuously.

In addition, apart from the balance of Yin and Yang, if the Five Elements can be mutually generating, it can also be endless, much like raising a "fetus"—ten months of pregnancy to give birth to this Spirit Vein.

How small is a Micro Spirit Vein? It is roughly the amount of Spirit Qi released that, without any processing, can radiate over a village. The area occupied by the Spirit Vein itself is small, ranging from a few mu to several hundred mu.

"There is nothing to experiment with here, but one could certainly try it over in Amelika." Xu Jia thought to himself. The Yin vein nodes of the Dharma Realm are easy to find; the Dharma Realm Manors of various Demon Gods must be Yin vein nodes. As for the Yang vein nodes, that is harder to guarantee; they are generally where the Dragon Vein travels, where Vitality converges—they are Feng Shui treasure lands.

By logic, the San Francisco Blessed Land is also done this way, linking Hannibal's Dharma Realm Manor with the San Francisco Dragon Vein Feng Shui villa area.

But that was too crude. Although the Yin vein and Yang vein had contact, they did not form a so-called "Micro Spirit Vein." However, the overflow of Dharma Realm energy was real. The Dong Great Dao Religious Group even went to visit it back then. But Xu Jia had always thought it was sorted out by those disciples who practiced the Huangtian Daoism, that is, the "Divine Path techniques." They had refined themselves into Underground Lords and Underground Commanders, obtained the Ghost Immortal rank Registers, and combined them with arrays, which had some effect.

"If this could be accomplished at the Amelika San Francisco Tongtian Temple, it would be much easier for those disciples with ordinary aptitude to practice. The so-called World Ascension might arrive more quickly, and better preparations could be made."

However, the "Heaven and Earth Prohibitions" within this gave Xu Jia great inspiration. This is clearly very "array-like," and it is a "Heaven and Earth Array." Since he is already cosplaying Tongtian Jiaozhu, he must certainly have some attainments in arrays.

As everyone knows, arrays and the Qi Gate Dunjia are compatible, and Qi Gate Dunjia originates from the I Ching. Xu Jia's level of I Ching study is actually quite decent. Although it is basically gnawing on the old foundation of his past life, and his past life was a Grandmaster of a side-door sect, starting from "Feng Shui" is always correct.

"Feng Shui form-sha can be cultivated slightly and turned into various killing arrays."

Although the Feng Shui Array is not even in the same league as the legendary "Ten Absolute Arrays"—it is almost at the level of folklore, mortal flow, immortal cultivation, truth cultivation, prehistoric, Great Luo Eternal True Realm... that kind of gap.

But think carefully: in the Ten Absolute Arrays, the Golden Light Array and "Golden Light Sha" are basically from the same source, which is the "light pollution" formed by the reflection of light on metal or glass surfaces. It can make people irritable, unable to maintain harmony, cause heat to rise, lead to frequent nosebleeds, and over time, evolve into mania, or even bring emotions to family members, thereby ruining the family's Feng Shui and leading to the destruction of the family.

That "Wind Howl Array" and the "Piercing Heart Sha" in Feng Shui are the same. A central hall with a piercing heart has strong convective wind. Whenever it is windy or rainy, it is ten times stronger, wailing like ghosts and wolves. Living in such a place, Vitality is easily dispersed, which is disadvantageous to the elderly, pregnant women, and children. The elderly are prone to illness, hemiplegia, and stroke; pregnant women are prone to miscarriage; children are prone to being weak and sickly. Even for a normal man, heart palpitations and panic are common. Over time, sudden death is also normal. Furthermore, the wailing wind will also cause neurasthenia. Over time, there is the saying: "Piercing Heart Sha pierces three generations; every generation has someone die, a Sha that cuts off descendants."

These Feng Shui form-sha are small Sha in small places, but if they are transformed by the Heaven and Earth Prohibition Method, they become "Dead Lands," and naturally, they become Great Sha.

Collecting Sha to refine artifacts, and using artifacts to set up arrays, naturally one can have a bit of the splendor of the Tongtian Sect.

Xu Jia's Feng Shui knowledge is quite solid; otherwise, he wouldn't have gone to seek the Dragon and dot the acupoint for a high official in Min. That person was known as the "Governor-General of the Three Southern Provinces." Also known as the "Prince of Pacifying the South."

However, he was obstructed by others. He didn't finish what he had promised to do, and fearing that the person would fly into a rage, he fled overseas and became the side-door sect leader of the Amelika Tongtian Temple.

Recalling the past, Xu Jia sighed: "It's a good thing I didn't do that, otherwise it would have really affected the National Fortune. I don't know how much karmic debt I would have carried. I fear that before I even achieved cultivation, I would have had some of that Cause and Effect and Karmic Burden."

Only let humanity be like a dragon, everyone like a dragon.

Shaking his head, he cast these thoughts aside. Now, this Dragon Vein does not just benefit one person alone, but is scattered in the air. Whether poor, rich, or powerful, as long as one has not become a Heavenly Immortal and transcended, everyone breathes the same air. This is what the "Lingbao Tradition" should do.

Once the thought arose, Xu Jia immediately roamed the Sanqing Mountain Dharma Realm, looking for a Yin vein to connect with the Sanqing Mountain Yang vein. It is just that Sanqing Mountain is not a "Micro Vein," but is already considered a "medium" mountain range.

The Yin vein Xu Jia saw in the Dharma Realm was also an extremely towering projection of Sanqing Mountain, with a faint pillar of mysterious light connecting to the Shangjie. Even using the Law of Heaven and Earth, it is difficult to move, because to move it, one would need to move the "Three Pure Ones," and he does not yet have that Quanshen.

The Sanqing Mountain Dharma vein is towering, but another mountain might not be.

That is "Jijuezi Mountain," which Xu Jia consecrated when he first started his career. This mountain is located behind Niu Family Village. Xu Jia once sealed the location of Luejue, and set up a Fox Immortal Hall in the main room under the old crooked tree. Although hundreds of Fox Immortal Halls were opened later, this place is still considered the "Ancestral Court" and is the Daochang of Hu Jinhua.

On Luejue Mountain, there are now mostly young fox juniors who plant herbs on the mountain and have even opened a "chicken farm."

That's right, fox spirits raising chickens—that is professional.

Xu Jia arrived at Jijuezi Mountain, and Luejue came to welcome him. At this time, he had already become a "Ninth Rank Mountain God." Although his position was still low and small, he had broken through the ranks and could be considered to have "promoted several levels," upgrading from a third-class Underground Lord to a first-class Underground Lord, and then from an Underground Lord to a Ninth Rank Yin Spirit. Only then did he truly receive the position of Mountain God and have a Mountain God Temple. He is exactly a Spirit General with chicken feet, holding a chicken-foot claw in his hand, with a pair of wings on his back. Under his seat is a mount, which is exactly the transformed soul of the Reverse-Feather Chicken demon from the Qingfeng Pavilion back then.
