Jingci Shitai said: "The Daoist school says: Harmonize with its light, mingle with its dust. Deep and dark, it seems to exist."

"Now that you have severed the Demon Seed and cut off an arm, it seems the Demon Seed has left, but in truth, you have not fully understood. The Asura can act as a Protector for the Buddha, which shows they are not beyond salvation. You must keep your original heart as firm and unmoving as Xu Mi Shan, and carry a single thought of compassion through to the end. Only then will the chains of the Eight Great Precepts remain secure. If one day the precepts waver, the chains will also peel away."

"Subduing demons is subduing oneself; refining demons is also refining oneself."

"If we truly speak of a single thought, how many demons are there in this world?"

Although Xu Jia was contemplating the heavenly secrets, he also heard the conversation here.

He then said: "Entering phenomena and exiting phenomena are both for the sake of breaking phenomena, but many people obsess over the phenomena themselves.
