Chapter 106: Major Announcement

Major Announcement

The author has abandoned the novel; rejoice and spread the news, congratulations all around.

The reason is simple: the performance is terrible, average of 100, haha.

Subscription-to-reading ratio is 1:80, a catastrophic failure.

Go ahead and curse—I don’t have a dick.

The author has summarized the reasons for the collapse.

First, the genre problem.

The author attempted to merge post-apocalyptic and East-West themes, but overreached and failed.

Second, still a genre problem.

Post-apocalyptic fiction restricts my creativity; no explanation needed.

Will the author write again?

Of course—I’m starting a new novel right now.

This time I’ve learned my lesson and am launching a new novel immediately.

This one is DND-themed, pure Western fantasy, with a system, the protagonist is a transmigrator who begins directly as a mage, no melee nonsense.

Later I might include things like Tenser’s Transformation, but I will never cast a Light spell and then go chop people up.

I won’t write any damn level bonuses—legends have no reality-warping power.

I consider it generous to give a legend the ability to break a thousand troops.

So if you see a level-10 character get stabbed to death by a level-1 character, don’t be surprised.

DND levels are that plain and straightforward.

Rules 3R as the base—I write spellcasters, not spell-children; warriors are forever the younger brothers.

Any monk or magic-immune monster? Just stack spell penetration and death spells.

And the skills points you all complained about? They’re finally useful.

The protagonist starts from zero, rises step by step, and every skill point must be used carefully—or he dies.

Finally, I still hope readers who enjoy this genre will support it.
