Some reflections

The author is stuck, and it’s hurting badly.

I thought the plot after the second impact would be easy to write—just a simple scenario where humanity faces crisis and the protagonist shows off.

In reality, I was completely wrong.

I overlooked one element: post-apocalyptic sociology.

If it were a society that loved raising poisonous creatures, I’d write about it effortlessly.

Mass casualties? Ignore them; as long as someone survives, it’s fine.

But you know, I can’t write it that way, unless I set the protagonist’s hometown across the ocean.

Then it’d be easier to write.

I could write about human complexity, official chaos, and the naked rule of the strong.

In short, I’m stuck and it’s painful.

There will still be an update today, though it might come late again.
