Chapter 73: A Few Thoughts

Some thoughts

The author's stuck on the writing, and it feels awful.

I thought the plot after the second wave would be easy to write — just the usual stuff, humanity facing a crisis and the protagonist swooping in to look cool.

Turns out I was completely wrong.

I overlooked one thing: post-apocalyptic sociology.

If it were a society that liked to raise poison-gu, I'd definitely be writing it with ease.

Casualties piling up by the truckload, no need to fuss over them — as long as someone's still alive, that's fine.

But you all know I can't write it that way, unless I set the protagonist's birthplace on the far side of the ocean.

Only then would the plot be easy to write.

I could write the complexity of human nature, an official breakdown of order, and the naked, naked rule of the strong.

In short, being stuck feels miserable.

There'll still be an update today, though it might be a bit later again.
