Chapter 163: Fresh Cow Dung

Since entering this survival game, this upgrade has been the most difficult she has saved for.

But it can be foreseen that future ones will be harder each time.

Cheng Shuili does not want to waste today's blueprint improvement opportunity, yet she is conflicted about which one to improve.

She opens the personal panel and stares at it for a while.

Agility: 50 (Also unchanged, have you hit a bottleneck, humanity?)

Combat Power: 66 (Adding one point as encouragement, no thanks needed!)】

Cheng Shuili: "……"

Who needs to thank?

Recently the golden rice bowl granted 4 stamina points, otherwise no other attribute changed.

However, why is there no change? Is the system still lacking points? Apart from the Instance during the Newbie Protection Period, Cheng Shuili hasn't seen any assignable free attribute points.

As for attribute potions, how does this differ from searching for a needle in the ocean?

Cheng Shuili, irritated, continues scrolling down.

Cheng Shuili stares at the blueprint section, thinks for a moment, and finally decides to improve the most basic Primary Condensed Water Device Blueprint.

She isn't short of water, but she has a water bucket.

Cheng Shuili silently glances at Su Rui drinking water in the cockpit; this guy's body is truly strange, the water he drinks disappears without a trace, and he doesn't need to use the restroom.

Cheng Shuili understands this setting; it's to prevent the servant from slacking off in the restroom.

After Su Rui notices Cheng Shuili has no objection to her taking mineral water, she has already drunk eight bottles today.

Cheng Shuili, though not wasteful of water, is a bit worried about her getting water intoxication.

But fortunately, the servant seems not to get sick.

In short, Cheng Shuili needs a new water‑condensing device.

Not for anything else, exclusively for Su Rui!

Cheng Shuili selected the Primary Condensed Water Device Blueprint, but today's luck seems poor; after wasting an Energy Stone, Cheng Shuili, with a disgruntled face, saw the words "Improvement Failed".

Fine.

Continue the upgrade tomorrow!

She still has five Energy Stones, five more chances!

It can't be that none succeed at once, right?

The first day of famine passed amid calm winds and endless confusion on the regional channel.

Perhaps from the extreme heat experience, on the second day of famine, someone noticed something off.

"So strange, it feels like something is missing from the box."

"Exactly, before we opened wooden supply boxes, they yielded compressed biscuits or mineral water; since yesterday we haven't seen either! Only basic materials!"

"Actually your luck is okay, I now open wooden supply boxes and get only vitamins! System! Answer me! Why do I have no basic materials! And, can this thing fill me up? Ah?! Can it fill me up?"

"Upstairs, spare me, I've already pulled out a dozen digestive tablets and haven't even spoken yet."

"Hahaha, there really are masters like this!"

Cheng Shuili can't help but smile; the system is really a loss.

Seeing these comments, she also becomes curious about what she got yesterday.

When good items were found before, Su Rui would tell her, but Su Rui was unusually quiet all day yesterday; thinking of this, Cheng Shuili immediately gets up and knocks on the cockpit door.

Cheng Shuili, a polite child, greets, "Driving?"

Su Rui: "……"

Otherwise?

Cheng Shuili isn't awkward at all; she smiles and asks, "What did you get out yesterday?"

Su Rui steps on the brake, and after the vehicle stops, brings a cardboard box into the cabin.

After seeing clearly what she's holding, Cheng Shuili can't smile at all. Su Rui cradles in her arms a whole box of fresh cow dung.

As soon as Cheng Shuili opens it, she senses something wrong; the smell is sour and foul, utterly overwhelming!

Su Rui opens it for Cheng Shuili to see, then immediately puts the lid back on.

Cow dung?

Cheng Shuili: "???"

What does she need this for?

It seemed she sensed Cheng Shuili's doubt, and Su Rui explained, "It might be useful for planting vegetables, so I'll bring it onto the cart."

Cheng Shuili fell even more silent; she glanced at the miniature sunroom beside her, which was still smaller than this single box of cow dung.

Will it really be useful?

"And once sealed it loses its smell. Our carriage has plenty of space, so we can keep it."

Su Rui added another explanation.

That does make some sense; having something concrete is better than nothing, but sharing a room with dung…

Cheng Shuili felt a bit repulsed, yet she decided to keep it.

"Anything else?"

We can't just drive around all day with a single box of fresh cow dung, can we?

Su Rui nodded, handed the box to Cheng Shuili, who instinctively took it, and the next second a popup suddenly appeared before her.

【A player who chose not to reveal their name used a Designated Resource Theft Card on you!】

【They want to obtain the resources you have; do you give them?】

Cheng Shuili: "???"

This is definitely the most baffling day Cheng Shuili has experienced since entering the game!

First Su Rui picked up a box of fresh cow dung yesterday, and now someone used a card on her hoping to get that box of dung!

What on earth is going on?

Cheng Shuili's gaze fell on the Designated Resource Theft Card; this card is so polite.

It's called a theft card, yet it still asks her whether to give it?

Is this reasonable?

Yeah! Is this reasonable?

Ge Wudi stared at the popup, their face turning red with anger; it's a theft card! Why ask the victim for their opinion?!
