Edith Store

Amelia came back a few minutes later. She saw both of them.

"Elder Edith has allowed me to show the breathing methods for reviewing. But she doesn’t want to sell the methods," Amelia said in a solemn tone.

She then looked at Elder Harold with a complex gaze.

She added, "She wanted me to convey a few words. These breathing methods are incomplete. It’s suicidal to practice them at this current time of ours."

"So she knew," Harold uttered.

He was shocked to learn how fast the information travels. He then turned toward Jeremy Night.

"You heard her right. You can take a look at the breathing methods. I have some personal work to do. I’ll come back after one hour."

"You can review the breathing methods in the meantime," Harold said.

"Okay," Jeremy replied.

Harold then turned toward Amelia.

"Bring the methods for him to review. I’ll pay the amount at the counter," Harold said.

Amelia hurriedly said, "Elder, she doesn’t want any money from you."

"It’s okay. I will pay." After saying that, Harold walked out.

Amelia sighed and walked out as well.

Jeremy watched everything. He understood there was some history between Head Harold and the person named Elder Edith.

He then shook his head before putting away those thoughts. He waited for the breathing methods to arrive.

About 10 minutes later,

Amelia brought the breathing methods to the room. She saw young Jeremy Night.

"There are 10 Breathing Methods here. These were researched by the people. Some of them have not been made public, so they haven’t been used by the Beast Tamers before."

"It’s up to how much you can learn. I’ll be outside. If you need anything, you can turn on the switch on the side wall." After saying that, Amelia left the room.

Jeremy Night watched her leave. His gaze then fell on the breathing methods. He picked up a breathing method and began to read it.

Meanwhile,

A few influential guests walked into the building. They were students from Central University 4. The Young Beast Tamers were doing their second year at the Central University here.

They had come here to buy a few products. It was a mixed group of young males and females. Their appearance was so sudden that the staff were flustered.

A senior staff member collected his thoughts. He then greeted the young masters and ladies. Then, they were brought to the different guest rooms.

But there were ten people here, and the other guests were already in the different guest rooms. The senior staff member eyed the juniors to drive away the current guests in the rooms.

Amelia was not here. She was on the 4th floor, addressing other guests as well, so she didn’t know what was going on on the ground floor.

The guests who were in the rooms were being driven out. It caused some tension. The guests had come here to buy important products.

It could not be discussed outside. But the staff were not seeing it that way. For them, they just didn’t want to offend the heirs of the Beast Taming Families.

Meanwhile,

Jeremy Night was in his room. He was going through the breathing methods. He was memorizing the different routes that were described in the method.

He was also memorizing the pros and cons of the breathing method.

Creak!

Suddenly, a rude staff member opened the door without knocking. He entered the room and looked at him.

"Hey, leave the room right now."

"Young Master Oscar has come," the staff member said in a rude tone.

It was as if he didn’t care about the reaction of the young man. All he wanted was for the person to leave the room.

The staff member wanted to impress Young Master Oscar. He was a popular figure among the young generation.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night’s anger flared up. He had been told to stay here by Manager Amelia.

Head Harold seemed to have a connection to this place. So why should he leave the room?

Jeremy Night decided to stay. It was also because he could not take these breathing methods outside.

He wanted to review the remaining methods as well.

The staff member was shocked. He didn’t expect the guest to be this defiant. The guest was not reacting at all.

"Do you want to die?"

"If you anger Young Master Oscar, you will die," the staff member said in anger.

Hearing that, Jeremy didn’t respond. He continued reading the content.

"You damn," the staff member uttered. He had an urge to throw him out. But by doing this, he would face the consequences as well.

It was not good at all. While he was at the peak of his anger.

"What’s going on here?" a young man’s voice sounded.

Behind him, a curly, red-haired young man appeared. His name was Oscar Fletcher. He was the next heir of the Fletcher Family.

There were male and female heirs of other families behind him.

The staff member was terrified. He immediately moved away from the spot. He then said in a low tone,

"Young Master, this person is not leaving at all despite me saying your name."

Jeremy Night raised his head. He saw the curly-haired young man. He seemed similar to his own age, but the strength of the young man was Tier-4.

The people behind him looked to be a similar age. All of them were Tier-4, but their power levels seemed to be low. It might be due to a difference in ranks.

Oscar saw the young man as well. He saw through the strength of the young man; he was a Tier-3 Beast Tamer. Yet, there was no hint of fear in his eyes.

Instead, the person’s eyes were filled with curiosity.

"Interesting," he uttered.

Then his gaze fell on the books on the table. His eyes caught the title of a book, and he was shocked. Then he saw the titles of the few other books.

"Ha... Ha... Ha..." he burst into laughter.

"Look, he is a madman. He is reading the forbidden breathing methods," Oscar said to his friends behind him.

"What are you saying?"

"Is it true?"

"It’s real."

The people walked into the room. They ignored the young man and picked up the books to read.

Oscar picked one up as well and went through the description. Meanwhile, a female Beast Tamer snatched a book right out of Jeremy Night’s hand.
