He recalled that he had killed WD-36’s third in command.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But Luke didn’t say anything and only continued with his questions.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Half an hour later, Luke and Selina rose and said goodbye to Sheerah.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>At the door, Luke thought for a moment before saying to Sheerah, “Sheerah, I’ll try to resolve your problem in a week. Don’t worry too much, and just focus on your own things.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Sheerah wasn’t surprised. She knew that Elsa trusted and thought highly of this young man. You have my number.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Selina put on a weird expression.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>After they got in the car, Selina suddenly asked, “Are you interested in her?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke was puzzled. “Huh?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>“What she said at the end was very strange. ‘If you need anything from me’... Hehe, isn’t she in her thirties?” said Selina playfully.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke said, “She’s only 29. If you say that she’s in her thirties to her face, she’ll get her security to kick you out!”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Selina said, “I believe she would. The man asked, “Can I help you?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke showed the man his badge and said, “I’m Luke from LAPD. This is Selina. We’d like to talk to Miss Jenny about some local happenings.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The security guard frowned and said, “You can ask me.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke nodded and asked, “Do you know that some dealers are peddling weed in this area?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Shifting his gaze, the security guard said, “No, I don’t.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke chuckled and said, “Have any of the neighbors mentioned it before?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The security guard shook his head. “We aren’t familiar with our neighbors. This is Beverly Hills, you know, not an apartment building.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke nodded and said, “Then sorry for disturbing you.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Then, he and Selina got into their car and left.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Selina said, “That security guard was too cold. Why does it seem like he didn’t like us?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke chuckled. “Who knows? I didn’t see him last time. The security guards have changed.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Selina saw that Luke was driving in an odd direction. “Where are you going?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke said, “The front door is fine, but most accidents happen at the back. We need to take a look.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Selina didn’t really understand, but she knew that Luke had his reasons, so she stopped asking.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke was thinking that if Miss Jenny was still buying weed, the transactions would only happen at the back door. So, it wouldn’t hurt to check it out.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>At the back, Luke slowed down and rolled down the window as he observed the environment.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>How things had changed! The last time he came to this villa, Elsa had still been indifferent to him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A Ford SUV suddenly blew past them. Luke took a sniff and hit the brake.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Thinking for a moment, he eased up on it and slowly drove on.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>This place had changed.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The back entrance, which had been almost directly facing the house across the street, had moved.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke observed from the car for a moment, and knew that the back entrance was now out of the range of the surveillance camera across the street, which belonged to Smith.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Jenny had adjusted her own surveillance camera, too. It was installed behind the back door and wouldn’t capture a view of anything else.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>It seemed that Miss Jenny hadn’t given up after the video tape incident last time, and was continuing with her little hobby.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The rich could indeed do whatever they wanted.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But of course, weed wasn’t really a big deal in America.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Everybody had the odd friend or two who had smoked weed before.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Observing the environment and taking deep breaths, Luke turned the car around and sped up.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Selina asked, “Huh? We aren’t getting out to check out the area?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke said, “No need. Miss Jenny is in the SUV that just passed us. There’s no need to be concerned with her villa now.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Selina was confused. “She left her house?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke said mockingly, “Well, I don’t know if she went willingly, but there are four men in that car, and none of them are her security guards, so what do you think?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Selina didn’t question his judgment, and merely frowned. “Four men who aren’t her security guards? Has she been kidnapped?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke said, “I can’t say for sure, but we can track them.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The four men didn’t smell as clean as security guards, and reeked of weed, heroin, cash and gun oil as well as gunpowder.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>They were all probably drug dealers.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>With Elementary Driving and Sharp Nose, Luke caught up to the SUV just several minutes later.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>This SUV was pretty shabby and old, but all the windows had been upgraded with dark tint.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>It was thus impossible to see what was going in the car except through the windshield.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Tinted windows weren’t rare in California, where the sun was strong, and they certainly weren’t unusual on a car that had four drug dealers and a girl.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Selina waited, only to realize that Luke was just following the SUV. She thought for a moment before she asked, “Are you hoping to catch more of them?”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Luke chuckled and nodded. “Miss Jenny doesn’t like us anyway, so we’ll just let her enjoy the company of four men with strong body odor.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Selina had no objections.
