Chapter 1934: ?Tony: Time to Show Real Technique

~5 min read 849 words

"What... is going on?"

Greymon's voice was low.

Though somewhat puzzled, he still rushed to Takeru Takaishi's side at once, shielding him.

He stared warily at the opposing Zombie-Satanmon, and at Su Han and the others who had just appeared.

"Takeru, Yamato! And everyone else—it's been a long time."

Ash smiled and waved at the crowd.

Ishida Yamato's dazed expression froze for a moment, then delight and astonishment spread across his face. He cried out, "Mr. Ash, how could you possibly be here?"

"Of course I came to help you deal with this incident!"

Ash laughed.

He took out five Poké Balls, and with bursts of brilliant light, Pidgeot, Charizard, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and other Pokémon appeared one by one.

However, although some of these Pokémon were still in their base forms, every single one radiated an unfathomable aura.

"President, leave Zombie-Satanmon to me!"

Ash's expression turned serious. He said in a low voice, "Charizard! Go!"

Charizard roared toward the sky, its slender body covered in a full-body coating of Armament Haki. With a single beat of its wings, in an instant it appeared before Zombie-Satanmon.

Its jet-black steel tail, trailing brilliant light, slammed into Zombie-Satanmon's body.

Accompanied by a wail, Zombie-Satanmon was smashed straight into the ground by that terrifying steel tail. Shockwaves spread outward, so violent that no one could keep their footing.

Dense cracks spread out in every direction.

"That's a bit violent!"

Tony's mouth twitched slightly. He turned to stare at Ash beside him, a complicated look crossing his face. "Impressive, as always! Truly worthy of someone who became the Kanto Champion... even though he's still just a kid!"

"You're too kind, Mr. Tony!"

Ash rubbed his nose, looking shy and bashful. "Winning the title of Kanto Champion—I just got lucky."

Tony didn't reply, only laughed noncommittally.

He said softly, "Well then, I can't just stand around here either!"

As his words fell, the void twisted.

One after another, suits of armor rapidly emerged from the void—dense, packed, filling the sky. These Iron Man armors stood silent and solemn, like monuments towering in the heavens.

Meanwhile, on the other side.

Ishida Yamato stared at Ash and the others, a look of admiration and bewildered uncertainty on his face.

Ash had helped them in the Digital World more than once, and held a special place in Ishida Yamato's heart... Seeing him again now, naturally, he was thrilled.

But the sudden flood of Iron Man armor left him shocked and confused.

"Mr. Ash is here,"

Izumi Koushiro said, "but who are those guys next to Ash... what's going on? Especially that Westerner—one word from him, and all this appears?"

"These armors... could they also be a special type of Digimon, or the Pokémon Mr. Ash mentioned? No... that's impossible! But if they're not Digimon or Pokémon, then what are they?"

The more Izumi Koushiro thought about it, the more tangled he became, his brow furrowed tight.

"Don't let your Iron Man armor leave for now!"

He turned his head to stare at Tony.

"President, why?"

Tony stared at Su Han, somewhat puzzled.

"This Digital World invasion is worldwide... In other words, if your Iron Man armor wants to provide disaster relief, it has to be deployed across the entire globe!"

Su Han paused briefly, then continued, "Although your Iron Man armors are numerous, once they're spread across the whole world, they won't amount to much."

He didn't argue. Tony thought it over, nodded in agreement, then asked softly, "So what do you mean?"

"You stay here... and I'll gather all the Digimon currently here in one place."

Su Han's voice was calm. He reached out and slapped the void before him, and the void shattered completely.

Endless Dark Digimon poured down from the void, like a vast ocean.

These Dark Digimon were all roaring at the sky, bellowing.

"Holy—"

Not to mention the DigiDestined children—even Sakata Kinjirou, a man who had carried out countless missions in his life with an iron will, went weak in the knees and collapsed to the ground.

The Digimon pouring down from the void were too many, far too many... nearly suffocating in their sheer number.

At this moment.

It wasn't only Sakata Kinjirou.

The Japanese Cabinet, via the armored vehicle's camera on site, also saw the scene unfolding.

And the world's major top powers, although their reaction was a bit slower, quickly got word from the Japanese Cabinet and called up satellites to photograph the scene from outer space.

It could be said that the eyes of the world had begun to converge on this place.

Not a single powerful figure of the top nations could remain calm.

"... The enemy is actually this many!"

Tony's expression was vivid. Then he gritted his teeth and growled, "Jarvis, attack!"

As Tony gave the order, countless Iron Man armors streaked forward and collided with the Digimon flood.

The war had begun... Compared to the previous skirmishes, only now could it truly be called a war.

Every moment, Iron Man armors were torn apart, and Digimon completely collapsed into data.

The scene was utterly, brutally savage.
