Su Han finished packing and turned around to open the door of the room.

Zhao Linger stood gracefully outside the door, studying Su Han, a smile creeping onto her face: "Su Han, want to make a bet with me?"

"For example?" Su Han regarded Zhao Linger with interest.

"Let's race something—say, who gets to school first? If I win, you call me big sister. How about it?" Zhao Linger straightened her chest.

"And if I win?" Su Han said calmly.

Zhao Linger froze for a moment, then began seriously contemplating.

Su Han stared at Zhao Linger and smiled. The reason his previous self had such a good relationship with Zhao Linger was that, despite the vast gap in strength between him and her, she always treated his previous self as an equal.

Even in situations where, to ordinary people, Su Han would surely lose the race, Zhao Linger still regarded him as an equal opponent, carefully considered her terms, and then proposed her wager.

Zhao Linger finally said: "If you win! From now on, I'll call you big brother."

Su Han smiled faintly: "No time limit?"

"Exactly! No time limit." Zhao Linger spoke with full confidence.

"Then let's begin!" Su Han slung his backpack over his shoulder, his feet shifting slightly—his figure instantly became an arrow, streaking forward.

The rest of the day passed quickly. Throughout the day, although Zhao Linger gradually grew accustomed to calling him "Big Brother," she pulled several pranks.

But Su Han had his Observation Haki fully active—every one of Zhao Linger's pranks ended with her suffering the consequences; by nightfall, she was utterly drained, body and soul.

Su Han and Zhao Linger walked together back to his home; Su Han waved at her, wearing a half-smile: "Linger, see you tomorrow."

Zhao Linger watched Su Han shut the door, her smile freezing again; after coming to her senses, she stomped her foot and started grinding her teeth.

"Isn't it basic gentlemanly conduct to see a lady home?"

Zhao Linger still couldn't accept it; she waited at the door for a long time, until she was certain Su Han truly wouldn't come out to escort her—not just teasing her—then turned around with a dark face and left.

Su Han, sensing Zhao Linger's departure through his Observation Haki, simply shrugged.

Escorting a girl home? Doesn't exist.

Whether it's class or escorting a girl home, neither compares to the guild chat room—he couldn't leave the guild. The people in the chat room spoke beautifully and acted magnanimously; he adored it.
