Chapter 939

~6 min read 1,108 words

Su Han stretched his wrists, still smiling, and turned to look at Qi Mu Nanxiong beside him: "This time, will you act, or will I?"

"If possible, let the president handle it…"

"I'm not good at fighting!"

Qi Mu Nanxiong paused slightly, thought it over, and felt that doing absolutely nothing made him seem like he'd just come along for the ride—it felt disrespectful to Princess Lala's fully automatic coffee jelly maker, so he added quickly:

"If, after you, President, have beaten Dai Bilu Ke, he still refuses to yield, then I'll step in and fight him."

Qi Mu Nanxiong had already prepared to remove the limiter on his head.

After the point-boost enhancement, his abilities had not only grown stronger but also more controllable.

Though he couldn't yet control them perfectly, their impact on him was no longer as overwhelming as he'd imagined.

He wondered whether using his powers in combat might not be as difficult as he'd thought. "Gulalala!"

Bai Hu Zi laughed boisterously; due to his towering frame, his laughter echoed throughout the entire room.

"My Observation Haki has sensed that the people nearby are not purely benevolent! Princess Lala, it seems your orders aren't entirely effective."

Princess Lala looked troubled. "They were all assigned by my father and mother! They usually listen to me, but sometimes, my words fall on deaf ears."

Meng Meng muttered silently beside her.

Isn't it because you constantly pull off bizarre stunts and show zero reliability? Tony's expression turned strange. Originally, this room had been filled with numerous maid guards.

Yet now, these… maid guards all wore grim expressions, had drawn various weapons, and were clearly prepared to fight Su Han and the others.

"... JARVIS! How does it feel to be on another planet?"

Tony glanced around the room, eyebrows slightly raised, as if he hadn't noticed the maid guards, all poised and ready.

"Mr. Stark, while the overall planetary environment remains uncertain, the ambient conditions within this room are nearly identical to Earth's—highly suitable for human habitation."

"It's possible Princess Lala specially adjusted this environment for us!"

JARVIS's voice was low. "This room contains vast amounts of advanced technology. Analyzing it would be extremely difficult."

"With current technology, it's impossible… Detection results indicate: the overall technological level within this room… is not inferior to the Chitauri fleet."

"... Is that so?"

Tony nodded thoughtfully. JARVIS said the tech level wasn't inferior to the Chitauri fleet—but this was merely Princess Lala's bedroom. If such advanced tech existed here, one could infer that the technology of Dai Bilu Star far surpassed that of the Chitauri fleet.

Thinking of all the black tech on Princess Lala's person, Tony couldn't help but sigh.

"No wonder it's the Galactic Empire that unified the entire galaxy… Dai Bilu! In sheer technological depth, it far outstrips me!"

Not to mention others—Qi Mu Nanxiong silently gave Tony a look.

You're just an ordinary Earthling comparing your own tech to a civilization that unified the galaxy! It'd be absurd if you could match it! The door shattered with a boom.

Sastin burst in wearing an exquisite suit of armor, his face grim and cold. His gaze locked instantly onto Su Han and the others.

"It's… you? How dare you invade Princess Lala…"

Sastin exhaled sharply and drew his sword with a swift whoosh.

In the next instant, Tony stood before Sastin, grinning with casual insolence.

He casually crossed his arms in front of his chest—the space around him twisted into a diamond shape.

Sastin's pupils contracted sharply; he spun and slashed his sword forward.

CLANG! The blade struck a spatial barrier.

"Spatial technology… possessing such advanced tech explains your audacity."

Sastin froze, his expression shifting from coldness to seriousness.

"Your armor—does it also contain high-level technology?"

Tony studied Sastin's armor. Though phrased as a question, his tone was certain—the warning alert blaring in his ear from JARVIS confirmed it all.

Sastin said nothing, his expression growing even more grave.

"Princess Lala, if I fight here, will it trouble you?"

Tony's voice was light.

"... Just don't kill anyone!"

Princess Lala replied.

Sastin: ""

Sastin looked utterly bewildered.

He stared at Princess Lala, unharmed and chatting merrily with Su Han and the others, and slowly realized he'd misunderstood something.

"Princess Lala, let me test the skill of your… Royal Palace Guard Captain."

Tony laughed loudly, then lightly tapped his chest with his other hand—nanotech armor instantly materialized, rapidly enveloping his entire body.

Before Sastin's disbelieving eyes, blue flames erupted from the crook of Tony's left arm; a terrifying punch shot forward like a rocket, CRASHING into Sastin's left chest and blasting him backward.

The Iron Man armor's feet spewed blue flames as it surged after the direction Sastin had been thrown.

Looking at the ruined room, Wugeng Liuli fell into thought, then turned to Su Han.

"Lord Demon King, weren't we here as guests? Isn't it problematic to fight with the host's people while visiting?"

"If Princess Lala doesn't care, what's the problem?"

Su Han gave no clear answer.

Wugeng Liuli glanced toward Princess Lala.

She found Princess Lala standing before the table, sighing in relief upon seeing her banquet untouched, her face lighting up with delight as she waved at Su Han and the others.

"Come quickly! I specially ordered the kitchen to prepare this—since I wasn't sure of your tastes, I got one dish from every top-tier planet in the Galactic Empire!"

Wugeng Liuli: "..."

After thinking it over, Wugeng Liuli decided Su Han was right—if the host didn't mind, why should she worry? Su Han scanned the room and noticed everyone's expressions had become extraordinarily complex.

Qi Mu Nanxiong studied the food; though his face remained expressionless, his eyes betrayed a flicker of terror.

As powerful as Qi Mu Nanxiong, even his heart now churned with ten-thousand-zhang waves.

"Princess Lala, thank you immensely for your generous hospitality, but I've just realized my stomach might be slightly unwell... I fear I cannot enjoy the feast before me."

May I ask, do you have coffee jelly? Right now, I can only consume coffee jelly!"

Bai Hu Zi stared at the enormous Star-Gazing Salted Fish Pie, then at the octopus soup, its entire body purplish, the broth still bubbling incessantly.

He watched the seaweed, green to the point of dripping juice, alive and writhing midair.

Bai Hu Zi fell into deep thought: so this is what alien food looks like? Come to think of it, can this food even be eaten? Could it be one of those... strangely shaped but delicious-tasting things...? Suddenly, Bai Hu Zi's face turned grim with dread.

Why was his Kenbunshoku screaming warnings at him now!
