Chapter 49: Traveling Still Doesn
The room soon emptied of all but Su Han and the original inhabitants of the Border Marquis’s residence.
Amelia stared at Su Han, her lips parting after much hesitation.
But before she could speak, Su Han raised a finger and shook it gently at her with a smile.
Amelia froze, then watched as Su Han directly took several photos through the guild system and posted them into the guild chat room.
Su Xiao: “How’s that? Amelia-chan, isn’t she super cute?”
Fallen Angel Twelve-Winged Black Cat Clan: “Wow! She really is super cute—especially those pointed ears! A half-elf! First time seeing one.”
Xia Shizi: “Same here! Though I saw the giant-sized Whitebeard during the Summit War, and those terrifying giants from the Marine Headquarters, seeing an elf this time was truly surprising.”
Tony Isn’t the Richest: “Miss Elf! Would you like to have dinner with me?”
Tony Stark was only speaking flippantly.
After briefly scanning the memory replica, he roughly understood Amelia’s inner sense of inferiority.
So he wanted to quickly help Amelia integrate into the group.
I Am a Marquis: “Tony Isn’t the Richest.”
“None of your business—shut up! Dinner? By the way, do you even have any points right now? Poor bastard, just keep your mouth shut.”
Tony Isn’t the Richest: “!!!”
Tony Isn’t the Richest: “At least I directly joined the Summit War last time—even if I just played a minor role—I still earned 500 points.”
I Am a Marquis: “Five points... is that a lot?”
Tony Stark had no reply.
He suddenly realized.
Although he was a genuine tycoon in the Marvel world, in this guild he was a genuine pauper.
With no money, he could only retreat.
Pure White Elf Mistress: “......”
Amelia didn’t know what to say anymore.
Should she call it感动? Amelia had long suffered discrimination due to her white hair and half-elf appearance.
Even her desire to become king of the Dragon-Allied Kingdom stemmed partly from wanting to truly contribute to others and change their perception of her.
But before she could even participate in the royal selection, the world of Re:Zero underwent such a upheaval.
The Witch of Envy had awakened; the world teetered on destruction.
Thinking of her resemblance to the Witch of Envy, even though Amelia knew deep down it had nothing to do with her, she still felt profound shame—as if she owed the world something.
And upon entering the guild, she discovered that... these guild members showed her zero discrimination, and truly treated her as a friend.
She was moved to silence.
Pure White Elf Mistress: “Thank you... truly, thank you all.”
Tony Isn’t the Richest: “No need to thank us! This is what we should do.”
“As guild members, we must support and care for one another.”
I Am a Marquis: “...... Mr. Shitball, I’m not particularly eager to complain, but don’t you feel even a shred of shame? You lie comfortably in your luxurious villa hammering iron, yet still have the nerve to say ‘no thanks needed’—while we... the ones who actually do things... haven’t even spoken up yet.”
I Am a Marquis: “Looks like if I earn a few more points this time, I should consider traveling to New York in the Marvel world and making a big splash to announce my presence.”
Tony Isn’t the Richest: “!!!”
Tony Isn’t the Richest: “Grandpa, calm down! Spending points over something this trivial isn’t worth it!”
Accelerator: “How utterly boring! I thought all the flames in this world were magical flames, so I was ready to analyze the principles of magic—only to find these are just ordinary flames.”
“Absolutely no fun at all.”
Old man that I am, I am侯爵: “If you truly wish to taste magical flame, I can satisfy you.”
Su Han looked at those... guild members who, even while traveling, felt compelled to show off their presence, and couldn’t help but twitch his lips twice.
“These guys... don’t they fear that during travel, lack of focus might cause them to crash straight into a rock wall or fall off a cliff?”
After venting, Su Han turned his attention back to reality.
Su Han looked up, fixing his gaze on Emilyia before him.
Emilyia now pressed her lips tightly, continuously wiping away her tears.
Seeing this, Su Han let out a quiet sigh, finally stepping before Emilyia and gently patting her head.
“Don’t overthink it! Once you join the guild, treat it like home—everyone here is a good person.”
“Mm-hmm!”
Emilyia nodded.
And on the other side,
Rem and Ram, having largely confirmed that Su Han bore no hostility—indeed, that he was here to save this world—could only exchange glances, lowering their weapons or dispersing their attacks.
“Sister, sister! I remember you once said that if anyone could save this world, you’d give everything for that person.”
Rem said, expressionless.
Ram glanced at Rem and replied: “But the world isn’t saved yet. No one knows what the future holds.”
“And with so many people involved, who exactly counts as the one who saved the world?”
Hearing this, Su Han’s attention snapped to Ram and Rem; he rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
Deep in thought.
“If you really have nowhere to go in the future, come to my place! I’m short two housekeepers.”
Su Han genuinely felt his home needed two housekeepers.
Su Han trained diligently, but asking him to tidy up the house? Forget it.
After a moment’s thought, Su Han added:
“Of course, if you want to visit other members’ worlds in the guild, that’s no problem either—”
“Provided... that person is willing to spend a certain amount of points to take you there.”
Rem’s expression instantly shifted to one of extreme disgust: “Sister, sister! This guest seems to be wildly violating your mind!”
Ram, expressionless: “Actually, I feel this guest is wildly violating Rem’s mind too. What an extraordinary declaration.”
Su Han heard them and chuckled silently.
He wasn’t angry.
The guild had plenty of sharp-tongued members.
霞诗子, my sister is unlovable, and even Tony Stark has this same potential.
He was already used to it.
“Think it over carefully—I won’t force you.”
Su Han turned and walked to the user of the Mera Mera no Mi, sat cross-legged, and began drawing out the fruit’s power.
Not long after, the Mera Mera no Mi’s ability was extracted.
Su Han picked up an apple from the nearby fruit tray and inserted the Devil Fruit into it.
The apple’s form instantly changed drastically.
Rem’s eyes revealed a flicker of astonishment: “Sister, sister! I didn’t know the guest had this ability—to turn an apple into another fruit! If so, couldn’t we just buy apples and eat every fruit from then on?”
Ram, though also surprised, shook her head: “Rem, Rem, you can tell at a glance—this fruit turned from the apple looks utterly inedible.”
“It might not be anything good at all.”
Su Han paused slightly, then without hesitation tossed the Mera Mera no Mi into his system storage.
He said nothing.
To say a Logia Devil Fruit isn’t good? That’s ridiculous.
A Logia Devil Fruit, if brought to the One Piece world, would make even Yonko-level pirate crews salivate.
If a top-tier Logia Devil Fruit appeared, even the true titans of the One Piece world would wage war over it.
But Su Han didn’t bother arguing.
The very next moment, ripples surged through the room’s space.
Su Han’s brow instantly furrowed—he had trained in Flying Thunder God Technique, and due to the system, his mastery now rivaled Minato’s.
Not to mention, with his concurrent training in Kenbunshoku Haki, he could move freely within its range.
He didn’t even need to throw kunai engraved with special seals like Minato did.
“Don’t worry—it’s my sister!”
Puck quickly spoke up.
He had隐隐 suspected Su Han’s strength.
Though he knew his guess was likely inaccurate,
he was certain Su Han matched the world’s top-tier combatants.
If Su Han had moved to strike Beatrice in an instant, whether she could escape was truly uncertain.
If Su Han truly acted against碧翠丝 in an instant, it would be hard to say whether碧翠丝 could escape.
