Chapter 26: Why Should I Agree to You?
Watching the soldiers leave, Morgana was so angry her teeth were itching.
Just as she was about to lose her temper, her peripheral vision suddenly caught sight of Ye Cang standing there, not having run away.
This made Morgana a bit curious.
It was clearly he who ordered the soldiers to leave, so why hadn't he left?
"Why didn't you go?" Morgana asked, "This was your own order."
"What, don't tell me you want to hog the evolution for yourself? Hahaha!"
But Ye Cang did not answer Morgana; instead, he scanned his surroundings, and only after confirming there was no one else around did he speak.
"Evolution? Are you sure? Demon King Morgana," Ye Cang said coldly, "Your ghost stories might fool others, but it's a pity I know everything about your little schemes."
"Your so-called evolution is nothing more than malicious Gene Implantation; those implanted will all become material to resurrect your subordinates!"
Ye Cang exposed Morgana's true colors without the slightest bit of politeness.
There was no need to act mysterious in front of Morgana; sometimes, laying it all out on the table was more effective at intimidating her.
Sure enough, after hearing Ye Cang's words, the smile on Morgana's face gradually disappeared.
"You seem to know me very well! Even Gene Implantation is so clear to you."
"It seems that being able to discover my tracks also has something to do with you."
But even after being seen through by Ye Cang, Morgana did not make a move or get angry.
Instead, she found a clean spot and sat down.
"Come, come sit," Morgana patted the space beside her.
"I, the Queen, have always been reasonable. Although I don't know who you are or why you know my information, you didn't start shouting about killing the moment you saw me."
"On this point, I, the Queen, am quite pleased, so we can sit down and talk about whatever it is!"
But Ye Cang rejected Morgana's suggestion to sit on the ground.
"No thanks, the ground is a bit cold and I don't really like it."
As he spoke, Ye Cang waved his hand, and a table and two stools instantly appeared in front of him.
"I still prefer sitting on a chair!"
Immediately, Ye Cang sat on the chair and reached out a hand to signal for Morgana to come sit as well.
When Morgana saw this trick of Ye Cang's, she was stunned for a moment, then stood up while grumbling.
"Damn it, why didn't you take it out earlier? I already sat on the ground, and only then did you take it out. You must have done that on purpose!"
Morgana's words sounded like they were said in an indifferent tone, but a flash of gravity crossed her eyes.
Ye Cang, who had been staring at Morgana the whole time, naturally noticed the gravity that flashed in her eyes.
Ye Cang was very satisfied with this fleeting look of gravity.
He had deliberately shown this trick in front of Morgana.
The purpose was simple.
To let Morgana know that he had the strength, that his status in the negotiation was equal, and that the negotiation was not unilaterally dominated by her.
Thinking of this, Ye Cang spoke up: "Morgana, actually, I am also a reasonable person; it's best not to resort to force if we don't have to."
"As for me, I have only one goal: you must leave Huaxia!"
After finishing, Ye Cang stopped talking and just quietly watched Morgana.
Morgana, having heard Ye Cang's words, didn't quite react at first; she thought Ye Cang hadn't finished, so she waited for a moment.
Finally, it was Ye Cang who reminded Morgana that he had finished stating his conditions, and only then did Morgana react.
"What the hell, your request is that simple?"
"Just let me leave Huaxia?"
Morgana said with a look of surprise.
According to her original assumptions, this Ye Cang should have proposed some very difficult conditions; she hadn't expected the conditions he proposed to be this simple.
Ye Cang nodded.
"Yes, leave Huaxia. But to be more precise, you should leave Huaxia and go abroad to conduct your Gene Implantation, and keep your Demon soldiers in check! They are not allowed to enter Huaxia, and of course, neither are you."
"However, if you are just here to play, I won't interfere, because guests are welcome."
After hearing this, Morgana did not speak immediately, but instead thought about it seriously.
Such a simple request was something she could completely fulfill.
But why should she listen to this Ye Cang? Just because he could conjure up a table and chairs?
Sorry, she could do that too.
However, speaking of this table and chairs that appeared out of thin air, these two things didn't seem to have been brought over via Micro-wormhole Transport.
It looked more like they appeared out of thin air?!
As soon as this thought appeared, it gave Morgana a fright.
In the entire Universe, the only person capable of this method was Karl.
However, this Ye Cang didn't look like one of Karl's people either!
Hmm... she couldn't make a judgment too early; she still had to test him.
Thinking of this, Morgana said: "The request is very simple, but why should I agree to you?"
"Just because of your little trick?"
As she spoke, Morgana tapped on the table.
"I can do this little trick too. Besides, although I've only just arrived in Huaxia, I have already fallen deeply in love with Huaxia and am reluctant to leave. What should I do about that?"
After finishing, Morgana looked at Ye Cang with a half-smile, waiting for his answer.
But after hearing this, Ye Cang did not answer Morgana's question.
Instead, he brought up other matters.
"Morgana, before I give you an answer regarding your question, could you listen to me tell you something interesting?"
This inexplicable reply left Morgana somewhat confused, but she still agreed to Ye Cang's request.
And so, Ye Cang began to speak.
"Morgana, you are the Demon King, so you must be very knowledgeable! You've heard of everything, right!"
Although Morgana did not understand what Ye Cang meant, she was indeed knowledgeable, so she nodded.
Seeing Morgana nod, Ye Cang continued, "I wonder, have you ever heard of the Universe Great Tear Era?"
This mention of the Universe Great Tear Era left Morgana somewhat puzzled.
What did that mean?
The Tear Era?
Does it refer to tearing the Universe apart to let the Void Arrival happen?
If that's the case, this grandson is definitely one of Karl's people! Confirmed!
Then she could just go find Karl later!
The moment she thought of this, Morgana had the urge to terminate the negotiation, but she reconsidered.
In the end, Morgana suppressed the urge and continued to listen to what Ye Cang had to say.
"Morgana, since you aren't speaking, I presume you haven't heard of it, so let me give you a simple explanation."
"The so-called Big Rip era is nothing more than the speed of the Universe's expansion accelerating, making gravity unable to resist the expansion of space, until finally, gravity loses its effect."
"Whether it be people or galaxies, in the end, everything turns into a pile of atoms!"
"From then on, only atoms remain in the Universe, and everything else is gone!"
As he spoke, Ye Cang made a very exaggerated expression.
This made Morgana frown as she watched.
Big Rip era?
Regarding this theory, it really was the first time she had heard of it; it was truly a bit interesting.
But what did he mean by telling her about this?
