Chapter 148

Ordinary players without talent or traits, no matter how hard they try, at this stage, are at most only stronger than a high-tier troop unit.

But special NPCs are different.

They generally come with their own talents or traits.

Once recruited and invested with resources for cultivation, it is easy for them to become powerful.

Take Linglong for example.

Her talent is functional, and only one trait can barely be considered a combat talent.

But even so.

In just a few days, she has possessed the strength that can rival or even surpass that of an ordinary bandit leader.

Although this is also influenced by his hundred-fold growth talent.

But it is undeniable that the growth speed of special NPCs is faster than that of players, and many times faster at that.

Therefore, the primary task for players at this stage should be to find and develop special NPCs while developing their territory.

This is the fastest path to rising up.

"Big Brother Su, is your little sister Linglong a special NPC?"

Luo Qingqing asked with a sudden realization.

Su Li didn't continue speaking, just smiled noncommittally.

"I understand, thank you, Big Brother Su!"

Luo Qingqing sincerely thanked Su Li.

Because Su Li's few words had already made her understand how she should walk her path from now on.

Su Li just waved his hand slightly and didn't chat with her anymore.

His gaze had long since turned to the front, to the battle between Linglong and the spear-wielding girl.

At this moment, Linglong had been beaten back step by step by that girl.

Despite having the weapon advantage, the blacksmith hammer in her hand was still being deflected by the opponent's spear, and she retreated again and again.

The blacksmith hammer had long since been knocked away by the opponent's spear.

But even so, Linglong had no possibility of turning defeat into victory.

At most, she would be defeated in another three rounds.

At this moment.

Su Li finally walked up slowly and approached the two.

Clang!

Accompanied by the sound of metal clashing again.

Linglong was once again beaten back by that girl.

Taking advantage of this gap.

Su Li flashed and blocked in front of Linglong.
