Chapter 39: Promote to Cavalry, Increase Level 《Please vote with flowers!!!》

It took about an hour or so.

A building more imposing and magnificent than the barracks rose from the ground.

"I wonder what elite troop type an Archer can be promoted to..."

With anticipation, Su Li walked into the barracks.

Soon, the system descended.

A notification also appeared on his character panel.

"Your Archer class proficiency has reached the Advanced stage, meeting the conditions for elite troop type promotion."

"However, because the Archer class is a basic class and its strength is too low, you can only promote to an Elite Archer. Do you wish to proceed with the promotion?"

Looking at this notification, Su Li was speechless.

The Archer's strength was too low, so he could only promote to an Elite Archer; was that even okay?

He instinctively checked the information for the Elite Archer.

It only added a little bit of hit rate and lethality, without any significant boosting effect, so he immediately felt bored.

Better to go see what troop types the Level 2 barracks had.

Su Li left the Elite Barracks and headed to the Level 2 barracks next door.

When the barracks were still Level 1, there were only Infantry, Spearmen, and Archers.

Now it had upgraded to Level 2.

On top of the original foundation.

It added Blade-Shield Soldiers, Light-Armored Spearmen, Longbowmen, and Light Cavalry.

The requirements for promotion were as follows:

Blade-Shield Soldier: Infantry x1, 2 units of iron blocks

Light-Armored Spearman: Spearman x1, 2 units of iron blocks

Longbowman: Archer x1, 5 units of wood

Light Cavalry: Horse x1, 2 iron blocks, 5 units of food

Except for the cavalry, the other three types of troops were actually an advancement based on the original basic troop types.

They didn't need extra equipment; just a little material was enough to promote directly.

However, currently, only the first three could be promoted.

The last one, Light Cavalry, had a hard requirement of Horse x1.

Now, the entire White Cloud Village only had one steed.

Which meant only one person could be promoted to Light Cavalry.

Su Li considered it and decided to be that one person himself.

After all, riding a horse to kill enemies was a very cool thing.

He couldn't let his underlings steal the spotlight first.

Next, Su Li had someone lead the horse over and walked into the barracks.

"Promotion conditions met."

"You are about to promote from an Archer to a Light Cavalry."

"Special note: After promotion, your original class characteristics will be reset. Do you wish to continue?"

Just like the previous promotion.

When Su Li made his choice, a warm current rose from within his body, rapidly strengthening his physique. When the strengthening ended, his appearance also changed again.

The leather armor he was wearing turned into light iron armor.

A white warhorse also appeared beneath him.

After promotion.

The original Archer class characteristics disappeared, replaced by Cavalry class characteristics.

Charge damage +30%, 10% suppression against non-spearman class troops.

Su Li's Martial Strength had also increased by 3 points compared to when he was an archer, and he had gained an extra skill.

And this skill was an active skill!

【Initial Charge】 (LV. 1)

【Skill Description: The most basic cavalry technique; when activated, instantly increases your speed by 100%, launching a shock against enemies in a straight line.】

No wonder the Cavalry class required Level 2 barracks to promote.

This Charge skill, combined with the class characteristics, could unleash combat power far exceeding that of ordinary basic troop types.

However, it seemed the Cavalry class didn't have fixed passive skills. ===== CHAPTER 41 =====
