Chapter 96

Calculating the time, from the moment they left Bai Yun Village for the Changshan Commandery seat to their return to Bai Yun Village, five days had already passed.

Having been away for five days, they returned to this familiar place again.

Even Su Li had a feeling of returning "home".

And he was right.

At least in the game world, this was indeed his home.

At this time, Bai Yun Village was still a Level 4 village.

But standing a few dozen meters away and looking toward Bai Yun Village, one could see two or three-meter-high stone city walls and NPC troops patrolling on the walls.

Looking at the farmers walking out of the gate and rushing to the resource points outside to collect resources, looking at the endless farmland outside the city!

The Bai Yun Village in front of him had already developed into a small town.

The reason it hadn't been upgraded to a town was because he, the lord, was not at home.

Bai Hao did not have the authority to upgrade autonomously.

Of course!

Besides this hard condition.

There was another reason.

When a territory undergoes a major level upgrade, it also triggers enemy attacks.

And the incoming enemies were in a high-intensity mode, stronger than the rioters and bandits encountered at the very beginning.

There was even a very small probability of generals appearing.

Under such a mechanism.

May I ask how Bai Hao dared to upgrade the territory when Su Li was not there?

Returning to Bai Yun Village.

Su Li also found Bai Hao at the first moment and asked: "The territory should be ready to upgrade, right?"

"Yes."

Bai Hao replied: "The buildings and resources needed for the territory upgrade are all ready, just waiting for your consent, Lord Lord, our Bai Yun Village can be upgraded to Bai Yun Town at any time."

"However, when upgrading the town, it is very likely to attract some greedy people and usher in their looting."

"Lord Lord, you must make preparations in advance!"

"Mm, you arrange these people first."

Su Li nodded and handed the hundreds of NPCs he brought back directly to Bai Hao for settlement.

Then, he walked toward the Lord's Mansion.

Actually, what needed to be prepared had already been prepared.

Bai Yun Village currently had two hundred high-tier troops.

With such combat power, plus himself.

Even if an ordinary general came, he might be able to fight.

Of course!

This was just a village upgrading to a town.

The probability of triggering a general's attack was very low.

Su Li felt that his face wasn't that dark yet.

It was one thing to encounter large-scale bandits when the territory protection period ended.

If he could still encounter a general's attack when upgrading the territory to a town now.

That luck would truly be extreme!

…………

Entering the Lord's Mansion.

Su Li directly opened the Lord's panel and chose: Upgrade Territory!

Consuming 5000 units of wood, 5000 units of stone, 500 units of iron blocks.

A moment later, Bai Yun Village was upgraded again.

The upgrade process was the same as before; it didn't require farmers to invest, and it was all completed automatically.

However, this time, it took a full half-day for Bai Yun Village to finally complete the upgrade.

Transitioning from a village to a town.

This time, the land area was ten times larger than before!

There were also many more open spaces in the territory.

This meant that the types of buildings that could be newly built in the upgraded Bai Yun Town were many.

The original buildings also looked more magnificent, decorated with blue tiles and red bricks.

The city walls and gates were also much taller and thicker than before, looking more easy to defend and difficult to attack.

Even outside the town, there was an extra trench.

This was for building a moat.

Compared to before.

The current Bai Yun Town could be called a territory.

A territory home where players could rely on for survival!
