Chapter 122: Finally Leaving the Instance

Anyway, Lin Yifan was quite satisfied with this Instance journey.

"Gugu gugu gugu…"

At that moment, countless bubbles suddenly rose from the water's bottom, as if the water were boiling.

Then, Lin Yifan keenly noticed a faint tremor in the floor beneath the water.

"Is this… the Instance is about to close?"

Lin Yifan was startled for a moment, quickly picked up the Bells, Combs and other items scattered on the ground, and then casually grabbed a few thick seaweed bundles.

But he hadn't yet had time to secure the items!

He then felt darkness before his eyes and a sensation of his body hanging in midair.

But it was only for an instant before his vision brightened.

When he opened his eyes, he realized he was standing in front of the cave he had entered before the Instance.

Beside him were three halo‑like vortices.

The next second, three figures fell out of the vortices!

They were the Hong Shaoqiang father‑and‑son pair who had previously cleared the Instance with Lin Yifan, and Ruan Qingtan.

"Ouch!"

The crisp cry of pain instantly snapped Lin Yifan back to his thoughts.

He hurried forward a step, lifted Xiao Hudie, and asked, "Xiao Hudie, did you get hurt from the fall?"

Xiao Hudie stood up, reached to rub his little bottom, pouted and said:

"My butt hurts a bit! But it's fine, just a little pain; I'll rub it and it'll be okay!"

Although Hong Shaoqiang and Ruan Qingtan also fell, they were adults, evidently tougher, and after patting their backsides they got up on their own.

Hong Shaoqiang stepped forward, lifted Xiao Hudie and began checking the situation, while Ruan Qingtan glanced around and said excitedly:

"We've returned to the place where the Instance was opened; it seems our Instance has been cleared!"

Lin Yifan nodded, "Indeed, it's already cleared."

The reward information for clearing the Instance task was now rolling before him.

【Dear Survivors, the Instance task has been completed!】

【Congratulations on receiving the Instance Completion Reward 【Random Attribute】 20 points!】

【Congratulations on receiving the Instance Completion Reward 【Blueprint for Water Avoidance Talisman】 ×1】

【Congratulations on receiving the Instance Completion Reward 【Water Escape Technique】 ×1】

【These rewards can only be obtained by the initiator who opened the Instance; the summoned teammates' rewards have also been distributed, please remind teammates to check their mail!】

After Lin Yifan quickly read through the reward information, he turned to Hong Shaoqiang and Ruan Qingtan and said:

"Quickly check whether the completion rewards have been delivered?"

Hong Shaoqiang and Ruan Qingtan, hearing this, could not think of anything else and hurried to check the task information.

Hong Shaoqiang exclaimed first, "My completion rewards have arrived! 15 points of Random Attribute, 5 Premium Water Avoidance Talismans, 5 Premium Water Shield Talismans, all top‑grade treasures!"

Ruan Qingtan also nodded, his face full of surprise, and said:

"My rewards have also arrived! 15 points of Random Attribute! It's my first time getting so many Random Attributes, I don't know which attributes to allocate!"

Lin Yifan, hearing that, hesitated for a moment, then smiled and said:

"Consider which direction you want to develop. If you want stronger combat power, you can add Strength; if you want to run faster, you can add Agility; if you want better spirit and become smarter, you can add Intelligence."

"Adding Strength, let's skip that!" Ruan Qingtan shook his head, speaking with clear self‑awareness:

"When I was on Earth Star, I was just a corporate white‑collar. My athletic ability wasn't zero, but almost none; fighting would definitely be impossible."

"But I can add a bit more Agility; running fast is the best way to survive. As for Intelligence, I should add a bit too, though I don't know if becoming smarter will help, but it might be useful…"

After saying that, he prepared to allocate points, but Lin Yifan suddenly spoke at this moment:

"I forgot to tell you, all my Random Attribute points were added to Physical Stamina!"

"Huh?" Ruan Qingtan suddenly looked up, a bewildered expression on his face, and said:

"Captain, what did you just say? Did I hear wrong? Did you say you added all Random Attribute points to Physical Stamina?"

"You didn't mishear; I indeed added all Random Attribute points to Physical Stamina," Lin Yifan nodded, confirming.

"Why?" Hong Shaoqiang asked, puzzled.

Ruan Qingtan also looked at him with equal confusion.

Lin Yifan thought for a moment, and since there was nothing to hide, he explained that after heavily adding Physical Stamina his Life Tier upgraded.

And after his Life Tier upgraded, the points for the other three attributes also increased, which he quickly recounted.

He then said, "At first I thought that regardless of Strength, Agility, or Intelligence, they all depend on Physical Stamina, so I wanted to raise Physical Stamina first, but I didn't expect such a pleasant surprise."

"There really is such a good thing?" Ruan Qingtan's eyes widened in surprise, saying:

"Then I won't add any other attributes; I will also put all Random Attribute points into Physical Stamina."

"Up to now, my Life Tier is still 'Ordinary Human'; that was only after the last natural disaster mission's reward points upgraded me, otherwise I'd still be a Subhealthy Human!"

"Your physical condition is also quite poor!" Hong Shaoqiang looked at Ruan Qingtan with some surprise, then turned to Lin Yifan and said:

"Actually, I've always been adding Physical Stamina, but I hadn't considered these; I just because I was injured early on, Physical Stamina is the weakest of my attributes, so I put everything into it."

"Brother Shaoqiang, what Life Tier are you now?" Lin Yifan asked curiously.

He had previously guessed that Hong Shaoqiang's Life Tier couldn't be low; otherwise, how could he alone hunt Wild Boar?

Today's joint battle further confirmed this.

Recall that he was previously Supernatural First Stage; Hong Shaoqiang, though a bit weaker, was clearly not much weaker.

As for combat power, perhaps he was indeed stronger than Hong Shaoqiang, but that was thanks to Life Tier strength and weapon strength; relying solely on combat experience and martial skill, he couldn't even match Hong Shaoqiang.

Hong Shaoqiang, however, did not conceal anything and said cheerfully:

When I came to this world, my Life Tier was Excellent Human; after the last Heavenly Disaster mission ended, I added all my attributes to Physical Stamina, so I have already advanced to Transcendent Human.

Only…

Hong Shaoqiang hesitated for a moment, then said with a wry smile:

Only I don't know why, even though I've advanced to Transcendent Human, on my Personal Info, in the talent field, there's always a Negative Buff attached.
