Chapter 79: with translation of chapter title

Lin Yifan stared intently at the Transparent Little Person swinging the iron hammer, his heart full of anticipation.

With each strike of the hammer, the pot's surface gradually became smooth as a mirror, its silvery-white luster shining brightly in the sunlight.

The faintly visible patterns seemed to flow across the pot's walls, like some mysterious rune, emitting a faint glow, becoming increasingly visible to the naked eye.

"These patterns… could they be some kind of magic formation?" Lin Yifan thought, a ridiculous idea rising in his mind.

However, although this idea was extremely ridiculous, in this unknown Survival Realm, anything could happen.

The appearance of a magic formation seemed not impossible either!

Anyway, it's now clear that the pot's ability to produce attribute-infused food is likely related to the mysterious power contained in those patterns.

And that mithril, which sounds quite fantastical, might very well be the material for crafting a magic formation?

As he pondered, the Transparent Little Person's motion suddenly stopped, handing the silvery-white pot to Lin Yifan, gesturing for him to take it.

Lin Yifan took the pot and asked doubtfully:

"Is this already repaired?"

The Transparent Little Person nodded, then actually stretched out a palm toward him, making a gesture of asking for something.

Lin Yifan froze for a moment, then suddenly recalled that when he had previously forged that greatsword, the Transparent Little Person summoned for forging had also asked him for something.

Before, he couldn't be sure whether these two little persons were the same, but now he could be completely certain.

Lin Yifan wasn't stingy; although he had previously given most of the crocodile meat to Hong Xiaoqiang to make smoked meat, he still kept several dozen catties.

So he cut off two or three jin of crocodile meat and handed it to the Transparent Little Person.

Upon receiving the crocodile meat, the Transparent Little Person instantly began jumping about, obviously extremely happy!

This moved Lin Yifan, so he placed the bird feathers he had gotten from opening a box yesterday, along with some iron lumps and wood, before the little person, and then said with a smile:

"How about we make another trade? You help me turn these materials into arrows, and I'll give you five jin of meat as payment."

He always felt that this Transparent Little Person should be conscious, and according to normal game rules, he crafts items using blueprints according to the rules.

The compensation received by the one who comes to forge should be taken from the rules, not demanded from him.

But this Transparent Little Person can still ask him for things, which might allow private transactions.

If private transactions were truly possible, the room for maneuver would be much greater!

After all, without a middleman profiting from the price difference, his material costs could be lower, and the Transparent Little Person could gain more—absolutely a win-win.

And Lin Yifan really guessed right this time!

Upon hearing his words, the Transparent Little Person really paused, stood in place thinking for a moment, then extended ten fingers toward him.

Lin Yifan raised an eyebrow and asked tentatively:

"You want ten jin of meat?"

The Transparent Little Person immediately nodded.

Lin Yifan narrowed his eyes; although ten jin of meat wasn't much to him, in a trade! One must surely ask for the sky and pay on the ground.

If he so readily agreed to the demand, future trades would not be so easy to press down on price.

So he immediately put on a troubled expression, sighing with a bitter face:

"If you want ten jin of meat, then this trade can't be done; I already don't have that much meat, looks like we'll have to wait until next time to trade."

As soon as he said that, the Transparent Little Person became anxious, immediately picking up the materials on the ground, grabbing the iron hammer, and began clanging away at forging.

After about two or three minutes, thirty arrows were forged.

The Transparent Little Person picked up an arrow and handed it to Lin Yifan, gesturing for him to inspect it.

Upon seeing the arrow, Lin Yifan immediately knew he had struck it rich!

He had actually already learned the blueprint for making arrows, but he could only produce ordinary arrows.

However, feathers were hard to find; after painstakingly obtaining some from opening a box, he ended up making only ordinary arrows, which left him genuinely unwilling.

That's why he set his sights on this Transparent Little Person; sure enough, his guess was correct!

【Wind-Chasing Arrow】

Grade: Black Iron

Accuracy +2

Damage +2

【When used with high-quality bow and arrow, the effect doubles!】

These arrows actually are all Black Iron Grade, and they also have attributes.

Even when paired with high-quality bow and arrow, the effect can be doubled, leaving Lin Yifan unable to stay calm?

Who let him happen to have a Bronze Grade 【Wind-Chasing Cloud-Breaking Bow】 in his hand!

A good bow with good arrows is simply a perfect match!

Lin Yifan nodded satisfactorily at the Transparent Little Person and said with great praise:

"Great craftsmanship! Really great craftsmanship! You're amazing!"

Having said that, he then cut off six jin of meat, handed it to the Transparent Little Person, and said:

"I originally kept one jin of meat for myself, intending to have it for lunch today, but now I'm giving it all to you to express my gratitude."

Upon receiving the meat, the Transparent Little Person jumped about again.

Seeing the Transparent Little Person also satisfied, Lin Yifan asked again:

"Can I still find you for a trade next time?"

The Transparent Little Person thought for a moment, then pointed at the pot, then pointed at himself.

Lin Yifan immediately understood: "You mean I can only summon you to come when I summon someone to forge items, and then we can do other trades?"

The Transparent Little Person immediately nodded.

Lin Yifan suddenly realized, then laughed and said:

"That feels good; if I have any needs in the future, I'll summon you—don't worry, I won't let you lose out."

The Transparent Little Person nodded, then quickly disappeared!

Also disappearing were the meat given to it, as well as the iron hammer and forge table summoned along with it.

Having seen this situation once before, Lin Yifan didn't overreact this time either.

After he put those 30 arrows into his space, he then turned his attention back to that pot.

The pot had been completely repaired, its surface smooth as new, and its patterns became even clearer.

Lin Yifan reached out and lightly touched the pot's wall, feeling a warm energy flow from his fingertips, as if this pot was no longer ordinary cookware but a spiritually charged treasure.

【Mythril Cast Iron Pot·Unique (Maker: Barolinte)】

【Attributes: Delicious+5 Physical Stamina Recovery+3】

【Item Status: Repaired】

【Special Effect: When cooking, there is a chance to trigger "Delicious Critical Hit", doubling the food's attributes.】

"Delicious+5, Physical Stamina Recovery+3! And there's an extra special effect!"

Lin Yifan's eyes lit up, his heart filled with joy.

The repaired iron pot's attributes greatly increased, and it even gained an extra special effect—this is practically one of the pieces of equipment he needs most right now!

He couldn't wait to test the pot's effect, so he immediately took out some ingredients from his backpack, preparing to make a hearty meal.

Although his cooking skills were truly not up to par, but with the pot's bonus, even ordinary ingredients could still produce astonishingly delicious food.

Lin Yifan placed the pot over the fire, poured in some clean water, then added the prepared crocodile meat and wild vegetables into the pot.

Also, back when it was still yesterday, he had pulled some shepherd's purse from the water's edge at the pool.

As the water in the pot gradually boiled, a rich aroma spread, making one's mouth water.
