Chapter 204: Realm Lord General

"The Virtual Cosmic Network will rate your strength based on your past performance. This rating—crucial for your rank within the army." The Immortal Divine Spirit continued, "There are three levels: ordinary Realm Lord Warrior, elite Realm Lord Warrior, and Realm Lord General."

"If you haven't yet shown your strongest power in the Virtual Cosmic Network, you may enter it now and demonstrate it."

The Immortal Divine Spirit waited ten seconds, then continued, "Now, come forward one by one to receive the Permission."

One hundred Realm Lords on the spot walked forward one after another toward the Immortal Divine Spirit; a blue light shot from the Immortal Divine Spirit's arm‑screen, enveloping the approaching Realm Lords.

"Ordinary Realm Lord Warrior."

"Elite Realm Lord Warrior."

"Elite Realm Lord Warrior."

"Ordinary Realm Lord Warrior."

The Immortal Divine Spirit's arm‑screen automatically emitted a series of sounds.

Soon it was Xiao Yu's turn.

Yet another Realm Lord General appeared!

He was a three‑meter‑three tall, powerfully built werewolf Realm Lord, whose eyes flashed like twin battle axes.

"The Permission‑granting ceremony is complete," the Immortal Divine Spirit's voice suddenly boomed, echoing in the ears of tens of thousands of Universe Warriors, "Everyone follow me. In a moment we will collectively teleport you to the Outer Realm Battlefield. This inter‑tribal war involves many soldiers, so there are eleven battlefields, all outside our Human Territory, which is why they are called Outer Realm Battlefields. You are headed to the Seventh Battlefield."

"Realm Lord General!"

……

Shortly after, the most numerous Domain Lord Level segment also concluded.

Immediately, tens of thousands of Universe Warriors set out; Xiao Yu and the other 99 Realm Lords led the way, followed by the Domain Lord Level, and finally the Universe‑level.

A great many Realm Lords around them instantly turned to look at Xiao Yu. Even the staff inside the Qiangniao Star who were granting Permissions to the Domain Lord and Universe‑level participants stared in surprise from afar.

Normally, most Realm Lord Level participants are ordinary Realm Lord Warriors. Those recognized by the Fundamental Law barely qualify as elite Realm Lord Warriors. Among a hundred elite Realm Lord Warriors, only one Realm Lord General appears.

"Not bad!" the Immortal Divine Spirit cast an approving glance at Xiao Yu.

"Pretty good; perhaps I'll meet Luo Feng later," Xiao Yu thought silently.

"Elite Realm Lord Warrior."

The Universe‑level and Domain Lord Level had the fewest numbers and finished first.

"Seventh Battlefield?"

The Permission ceremony ended quickly; among the 100 Realm Lords there were 2 Realm Lord Generals, 64 elite Realm Lord Warriors, and 34 ordinary Realm Lord Warriors.

"Average mortality rate 96.8%, the third‑ranked Seventh Battlefield!"

"All outside Human Territory?"

"Ordinary Realm Lord Warrior."

At the same time Xiao Yu also received a message from the Virtual Universe System.

"Depart," ordered the Immortal Divine Spirit.

"Realm Lord General!"

Xiao Yu glanced at it from afar and thought no more of it.

Moments later, they arrived at a massive hall whose diameter spanned over a thousand li; inside the great hall were eleven gigantic space‑like Water Curtain passages.

Each Water Curtain was a kilometer wide and a kilometer high.

"This is the spatial channel to the Seventh Battlefield," the Immortal Divine Spirit said as he approached one Water Curtain, "The Seventh Battlefield is a Universe Secret Realm about 1.1 million light‑years in diameter. It contains one hundred Barracks Bases; you are now teleporting to Base 039."

Wow!

The Realm Lords entered one by one, Xiao Yu following closely.

All Fixed Transmission Channels use the Divine Kingdom as a relay station; of course, as the hub connecting the Outer Realm Battlefields, the Divine Kingdom is personally overseen by a Human Race strongman, making it extremely safe.

Xiao Yu entered the Divine Kingdom, then took a step forward and felt space‑time shift, arriving at another location.

"New recruits have arrived!"

"Ha ha, we have new recruits."

"Quick, everyone, stop sleeping, get to work."

Shouts and commands rang out in succession.

Xiao Yu saw at a glance more than ten soldiers in white battle‑robes and an immortal in a white robe.

The white‑robed immortal smiled, "Recruits, welcome to Barracks Base '039' on the Seventh Battlefield. All Realm Lords follow her, all Domain Lords follow this young lady, and all Universe‑level follow this young man."

The Realm Lords who emerged followed the guide swiftly to the Realm Lord camp.

A tastefully decorated grand hall held tens of millions of seats; at a glance, hundreds of thousands of Realm Lords were seated there.

"There are so many Realm Lords."

Many recruits exclaimed.

The Outer Realm Battlefield comprises eleven battlefields, each with a hundred camps; if each camp hosts this many Realm Lords, the participating Realm Lords exceed ten billion.

Yet the Qian Wu Universe Country has only a few million Realm Lords; the Human Race's 1008 Universe Countries have far fewer Realm Lords.

"Looks like the Universe Secret Realm and the Divine Kingdom have more strongmen!" Xiao Yu thought.

In fact, the human numbers rank: Divine Kingdom first, Universe Secret Realm second, Universe Countries third.

Worlds like Viska Star and massive continents such as Xue Luo World house many strongmen; the number of Realm Lord Level individuals even surpasses that of a single Universe Country.

The Universe Secret Realm is saturated with Universe Primordial Energy, producing strongmen. Some of these realms have already merged fully with ordinary Universe Country humans, no longer opposing the human race.

The strongmen's Divine Kingdom Universe Primordial Energy naturally gives rise to all life, including intelligent races that survive as humans.

However, the limit for Divine Kingdom humans is the Realm Lord Level; breaking through to Immortal is extremely difficult—over countless eras only 9,082 have become Immortal, all with special opportunities.

By contrast, humans living in the Universe Secret Realm become Immortal easily, though advancing to Venerable remains hard.

About 98 % of Universe Venerables originate from Universe Countries, so the larger the human territory, the more strongmen it can produce, just like cosmic fortune.

The overall Primordial Universe's cosmic fortune is almost fixed; the larger the territory a tribe occupies, the more fortune it gains, and the more strongmen appear within the tribe.

"Among this batch of new recruits there are two 'Realm Lord Battle Generals', haha," the guide shouted loudly, then left.

"Join our elite squad; our elite squad is led by an Immortal Divine Spirit, so the chance of surviving danger is higher!"

"Our squad is stronger!"

The Realm Lords invited Xiao Yu and two other Realm Lord Battle Generals.

A moment later, Xiao Yu and the other werewolf Realm Lord Battle General joined an elite squad; the squad leader was an Immortal Divine Spirit with a scaly armored tail, He Si.

The three sat at a dining table, chatting, and through the conversation Xiao Yu gained a deeper understanding of the human domain and the Outer Realm Battlefield.

"Let me give a brief introduction: our Realm Lord squad consists of eight of us, including me; I am Immortal, and the other seven are all Realm Lord Battle Generals—two are warriors, three are Spiritual Mind Masters, two are illusionists. Most of them became Realm Lord Battle Generals after countless life‑and‑death battles, gradually breaking through in strength, while only one Spiritual Mind Master was a Realm Lord Battle General even as a recruit."

"Look, he's coming over. He is Fengci, Zu Yi."

In the distance a Realm Lord passed by; he was only 1.5 meters tall, like a small child, and a golden Secret Pattern marked his brow.
