Chapter 106: Go Get Tsunade
"Let’s do it here."
Kitazawa stopped.
In front of him, there was a cherry blossom tree on the left and another on the right.
He leaped, his feet landing firmly on the tree trunk.
Kitazawa opened his hands, using chakra to draw them in, and soon he had a handful of leaves.
He let go, and the leaves imbued with chakra fell rapidly.
"Hinata, catch all the leaves."
Kitazawa instructed.
Hearing this, Hinata Hyuga acted quickly.
She reached out with both hands, fast as lightning, and caught most of the fluttering leaves.
Hinata Hyuga stuffed the leaves into her arms and went to catch the remaining ones.
Although she was fast, she didn't manage to catch all of them.
"Sorry, Teacher Kitazawa."
Hinata Hyuga gripped the leaves and said, feeling embarrassed.
In her view, if she couldn't even do a small thing like catching leaves well, she was truly useless.
"Being able to catch so many leaves on your first try is already very excellent; no need to apologize."
Kitazawa smiled and asked, "Do you know what the purpose of this leaf-catching training is?"
"I don’t know."
Hinata Hyuga said honestly.
"It is to exercise your eyesight and, incidentally, your reaction ability."
Kitazawa lied: "It is said that this training method comes from your Hyuga clan’s ancestors."
"Eh?"
Hinata Hyuga recalled, but found no such impression.
"This ancestor of yours was far worse than you when they first caught leaves; they couldn't even catch one-third of them."
Kitazawa paused and said, "Hinata, your talent is very impressive."
Hinata Hyuga nodded heavily.
Although she didn't know if this ancestor really existed, Kitazawa’s words reignited her confidence.
"Let’s continue."
Kitazawa waved his hand, and the leaves returned to his hand.
This leaf-catching method actually came from the system.
It could serve to exercise the Byakugan.
Hinata Hyuga tightened her small face, her petite body very flexible, and her hands kept reaching for the leaves.
Time passed slowly, and the class soon came to an end.
"That’s all for today."
Kitazawa jumped down from the tree.
Hearing this, Hinata Hyuga immediately relaxed.
An indescribable fatigue surged into her heart; she opened her mouth and panted heavily.
Sweat seeped from her forehead, dampening her hair and fair skin.
"Sit down and rest for a while."
Kitazawa took a bottle of water from the summoning storage scroll and handed it to her.
"Thank you, Teacher Kitazawa."
Hinata Hyuga took the water and took a sip, immediately feeling much cooler.
"You can train more when you have time."
Kitazawa reminded her.
"Mm."
Hinata Hyuga nodded, then thought of something and asked: "Then... Teacher Kitazawa..."
Halfway through, she felt embarrassed and got stuck.
"What’s wrong?"
Kitazawa asked curiously.
"No... nothing."
Hinata Hyuga held the water bottle with both hands, her fingers poking each other uneasily.
"School is over; it’s time to go home, let’s go."
After resting for a few minutes, Kitazawa stood up and said.
Hinata Hyuga followed him quickly.
"Teacher Kitazawa!"
The students of Class 1-A had all left, leaving only Naruto Uzumaki.
"Here."
Kitazawa took out a scroll and said, "This is your homework for tonight."
Naruto Uzumaki, in addition to his pain, had no choice but to take the scroll.
For the sake of being in the top ten of the class, he had persisted for a week and couldn't give up halfway.
"Teacher Kitazawa, I want to do it too."
Seeing the scroll, Hinata Hyuga remembered the time spent doing problems last month.
Naruto Uzumaki looked at her in astonishment.
How could there be someone who proactively asks to do homework?
Too scary!
"You don’t need to do it."
Kitazawa shook his head and said, "There is no need to waste so much time for a first-place spot."
Hinata Hyuga thought for a moment and gave up thinking; anyway, just being obedient was fine.
"Naruto."
Kitazawa reminded him: "Remember to come early tomorrow; I will explain the wrong answers to you then."
"Yes, Teacher Kitazawa."
Naruto Uzumaki said listlessly.
Doing homework and such, he hated it the most!
A week passed in a flash, and soon it was Saturday.
Kitazawa had just woken up when he heard a rapid knocking on the door.
He went to the door and opened it.
As expected, outside the door was Kurenai Yuhi.
"So early?"
Kitazawa yawned and asked, "Have you had breakfast?"
"No."
Kurenai Yuhi walked into the entryway.
She bent down naturally and took off her shoes.
