Chapter 23: Want to Learn? I'll Teach You

~5 min read 892 words

Kitazawa had one less class today than yesterday.

The morning was Will of Fire, and the afternoon was a practical combat class.

After finishing his classes, Kitazawa returned to the office.

He casually picked up the homework on his desk and started looking through it.

There was no homework for the practical combat class, only for Hidden Leaf History and Will of Fire.

The homework for these two subjects wasn't difficult; everyone could pass, and a few had written exceptionally brilliant work.

Kitazawa was surprised to find Naruto Uzumaki among them.

It seemed it was because his lecture had been good.

This wasn't Kitazawa bragging; in the original story, Naruto Uzumaki was a dead-last student.

A "dead-last" student meant being at the bottom of the class, failing miserably in both theory and practical combat.

Time arrived for the last class, the practical combat class.

"Today's class is still kunai throwing."

Kitazawa stood before the students and said, "Those who haven't mastered it, continue practicing; those who have, you can have free time."

Many people showed surprise upon hearing this, especially the clan geniuses led by Sasuke Uchiha and Shikamaru Nara.

After all, free time was the same as not having class.

"Damn it! I miscalculated!"

Kiba Inuzuka turned to stone on the spot, saying with regret, "If I'd known, I would have shown my true strength yesterday!"

"I'm definitely going to hit the bullseye today!"

Naruto Uzumaki clenched his fists and said.

He had already received the snack gift bag from Kitazawa yesterday; it would be too embarrassing if he hadn't mastered it today.

Hinata Hyuga glanced at Kitazawa.

After a moment of thought, she decided to stay and continue practicing kunai.

Even though she had already learned it long ago.

"This teacher is really special; I like him."

Shikamaru Nara found a patch of grass, lay down comfortably with his hands behind his head.

"Indeed."

Choji Akimichi sat beside him, took out potato chips, and crunched on them.

"Sasuke-kun!"

Sakura Haruno flew over to Sasuke Uchiha and asked, "Can you teach me that kunai technique from yesterday that curves?"

"I don't have time."

Sasuke Uchiha rejected her without mercy.

Without even looking, he walked to the other side of the playground.

Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!

Sasuke Uchiha performed hand seals, chakra surged out, and it turned into a fireball the size of a fist in the air.

A look of disappointment couldn't help but appear on his face.

Although everyone said he was a genius, he was very mediocre compared to his brother, Itachi Uchiha.

His brother could fully master the Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu after seeing it once, but he couldn't.

"Why exactly?"

Sasuke Uchiha gritted his teeth.

He just wanted to learn it quickly and get praise from his father and brother.

Every time he thought of that scene, the corners of his mouth couldn't help but turn up.

But unfortunately, these were all his fantasies.

"Your chakra control ability is lacking."

A sudden voice rang out.

Sasuke Uchiha turned his head and saw Kitazawa.

He was stunned for a moment, the expression in his eyes changed, but he quickly returned to calm.

Kitazawa was just an ordinary Chunin teacher, not a ninja of the Uchiha clan; what could he know about the Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu?

He didn't think he had any ability.

"Follow me."

Kitazawa saw through Sasuke Uchiha's thoughts.

He wasn't surprised; this was the proud Uchiha clan, after all.

But it was a rare opportunity to complete a mission, and he didn't want to miss it.

"Where to?"

Sasuke Uchiha asked, puzzled.

"You'll know soon enough."

Kitazawa took him to a secluded training ground at the school.

Just as Sasuke Uchiha was about to speak, he saw a scene that left him dumbfounded.

Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!

With Kitazawa exerting his full power, he spat out a huge fireball.

What shocked Sasuke Uchiha was that this was actually even larger than the Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu his brother, Itachi Uchiha, could perform.

This truly overturned his perception.

"Want to learn? I'll teach you."

Seeing his dazed expression, Kitazawa couldn't help but smile.

Although the Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu was a signature jutsu of the Uchiha clan, because it was simple to learn and powerful, many ninjas from other clans knew it too.

This included Kitazawa's deceased, cheapskate teacher.

Because of this, Kitazawa didn't need to worry about anyone questioning the source of his Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu.

Sasuke Uchiha took a long time to come back to his senses.

If he could perform such a large fireball, he would definitely be able to make his father and brother look at him with new eyes.

"Teacher Kitazawa, I want to learn."

Sasuke Uchiha's spirit lifted, and he said immediately.

He wasn't as shut-off as he was in the original story, so he wasn't overly reserved.

"If you want to master the Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu, you have to start from two aspects."

Kitazawa said with a smile, "First is chakra control ability, and second is chakra nature transformation."

In the original story, it didn't mention how to train for Fire Style chakra nature transformation, but it did mention the training for Wind Style chakra nature transformation.

It was what Naruto Uzumaki demonstrated when he sought out Asuma Sarutobi to learn Wind Style. ===== CHAPTER 25 =====
