Hiruzen Sarutobi did not give a long speech; he simply said two sentences and turned to leave.

Hiashi Hyuga, Fugaku Uchiha, and the others saw him off to the school gate.

Kitazawa did not follow them; he still had school matters to attend to.

Even though Hiruzen Sarutobi had told him to visit the Hokage's office when he had time.
