Chapter 50: Sunny-Day Sasuke Gets Slapped in the Face
Kitazawa came back to his senses and found that Ino Yamanaka and Hinata Hyuga had paused their training.
There was no helping it; Sasuke Uchiha had been laughing far too loudly.
Both of them had their attention drawn, their faces full of confusion.
If the occasion hadn't been inappropriate, they surely would have asked, "Sasuke, why are you laughing?"
"Don't mind him."
Kitazawa gave a light cough and said, "You two continue training."
Sasuke Uchiha finally woke up from his fantasies.
He silently put away his smile and froze in place.
Because of a moment of progress, he hadn't controlled himself, causing his cold and aloof persona to collapse right there.
"Teacher Kitazawa."
Sasuke Uchiha suppressed the embarrassment in his heart, walked forward, and said, "I want to proceed to the next step of training."
The enlarged Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu not only increased his confidence but also increased his trust in Kitazawa.
"You and Hinata do it together."
Kitazawa repeated the training method once more.
"I don't need a warning in advance."
Sasuke Uchiha said with a confident face.
After speaking, he attached chakra to his feet and climbed up the tree.
Clearly, he was currently in a "Sunny-Day Sasuke" state.
Kitazawa raised an eyebrow.
How was this any different from saying, "Come hit me"?
As a teacher, he certainly had to satisfy Sasuke Uchiha’s request.
Kitazawa casually took out a wooden kunai and then, finding the right moment, threw it out.
Sasuke Uchiha heard the sound of the wind being broken, the corner of his mouth curled up, and his body shifted to the left.
But the next second, he let out an "Ow."
The wooden kunai had hit his left arm.
His ability to distinguish position by listening to the wind was still lacking; he hadn't calculated the speed of the kunai.
"Again!"
Sasuke Uchiha climbed up, his face flushed red, and said stiffly.
Kitazawa hadn't wanted to laugh, but he hadn't received professional training, so he started laughing.
It must be said, seeing Sunny-Day Sasuke get humbled was quite fun.
Time flowed slowly, and the combat class also reached its end.
Although Sasuke Uchiha was bruised and battered, he still persisted.
And his progress was also a cut above Hinata Hyuga’s.
The effect of getting beaten up was evident.
The combat class was the last class of the day.
After Kitazawa said goodbye to Hinata Hyuga and the others, he arrived at the conference room on the second floor.
Mizuki had notified him last Thursday that there was a meeting today, the content of which was to discuss the April monthly exam.
"Senior Kitazawa!"
Iruka Umino noticed him and waved to signal him.
Kitazawa walked forward, greeted him, and sat down next to him.
Not far away, Mizuki’s face suddenly turned cold.
He and Iruka Umino had been good friends since childhood, although in his view, it was just an act.
And as soon as Kitazawa arrived, he had snatched away his good friend, which was truly hateful.
Ten minutes later, the conference room was packed.
Although there were many teachers, except for Mizuki and Iruka Umino, none of them had ever had a name in the original work.
Finally, a middle-aged man walked in.
He was the vice-principal of the Ninja Academy, named Hisao Sarutobi, and was a Jonin.
Hiruzen Sarutobi was the principal, but he was also the Hokage and didn't have much time, so the actual manager of the Ninja Academy was the vice-principal.
"I am now announcing the rules for this month's monthly exam."
After Hisao Sarutobi sat down, he spoke.
Kitazawa listened for a moment and found it was about the same as last year.
Teachers from each grade would set questions, then they would be selected based on merit, and finally, two sets of test papers would be compiled for each grade: one official and one backup.
"The date for the monthly exam is set for April 30th."
Hisao Sarutobi said unhurriedly, "I hope you can hand the questions you've set to me before the 20th."
"Yes."
Everyone answered in unison.
"One final reminder: whoever has the most questions selected is the most likely to be named this year's most outstanding teacher."
Hisao Sarutobi stood up and said, "Meeting adjourned."
"Senior Kitazawa!"
Iruka Umino caught up to Kitazawa and asked very sincerely, "I would like to ask, is there anything I need to pay attention to when setting questions?"
He was serving as a question-setting teacher for the first time, so he was completely clueless.
The reason he asked Kitazawa was because he had been the teacher with the most questions selected for three consecutive years.
"Iruka, I can teach you."
Mizuki suddenly appeared, saying with a smile, "Kitazawa is quite busy; better not trouble him."
Iruka Umino was stunned for a moment, not doubting him, and just as he was about to agree, he was interrupted.
"Mizuki, you are a teacher for the second grade, while Iruka is a teacher for the first grade; it is only appropriate that I teach him."
Kitazawa said with a smile.
"Thank you, Senior Kitazawa!"
Iruka Umino thanked him immediately.
Upon hearing this, Mizuki’s smile froze.
"Go to my office."
Kitazawa glanced at him and turned to leave.
"Mizuki, thank you for your help as well."
After Iruka Umino finished speaking, he hurriedly followed Kitazawa.
"Bastard!"
Mizuki clenched his fists, his face twisted.
But other than impotent rage, there was nothing he could do. ===== CHAPTER 52 =====
