Chapter 10: Progress of 86 points!

Although the monthly exam is supposed to follow the college entrance exam standards as closely as possible, in reality there isn't that much time during the senior year.

The college entrance exam's Chinese, math, foreign language, and science comprehensive together take two days.

But in senior year's monthly exam we can't spend that much time, so these four subjects together only take about one day.

In the morning two subjects are tested, in the afternoon one subject, and the final science comprehensive is taken during evening self-study.

Throughout the whole day, whether it's the relatively high-achieving top students or the laggards in the class, everyone basically feels dizzy and mentally foggy.

This exam is indeed as strict as the homeroom teacher said.

Even if you've finished, or even if you can't do it, you're not allowed to look around in the exam hall, let alone sleep.

Even if you've given up and slumped over the desk, an invigilator will come over to remind you to get up and look at the paper again.

So whether you're a top student or a struggling one, throughout this day you basically undergo a severe test of both mind and body.

Even Li Mingyang, after finishing the evening science comprehensive exam and walking out of the exam hall, couldn't help but let out a long sigh of relief.

"Finally…… the exam is over!"

He stretched, strolled across the playground, looked up at the clear moonlight overhead, and Li Mingyang let out a heartfelt sigh.

"Yeah, it's good that the college entrance exam is held over two days; if the college entrance exam were also like this,"

He recognizes every character on the questions, but when they're put together Luo Yuan finds himself somewhat at a loss.

Especially this last science comprehensive subject, it can be said to be Luo Yuan's weakest, aside from biology which leans toward the liberal arts and is relatively better.

The remaining physics and chemistry each make Luo Yuan's head ache terribly.

So after barely making it to the half-hour before the exam ends when one can hand in the paper, upon looking up and seeing Li Mingyang directly turn in his paper and leave,

Luo Yuan also handed in his paper at the first opportunity and ran out of the exam hall, as if some primeval beast were chasing him from behind.

"How do you feel about this exam? Do you have confidence? How much progress do you feel you can make this time?"

Seeing his good buddy Li Mingyang also reveal a rare relaxed smile, although the feeling of progressing every minute is indeed addictive.

But as time went on, Li Mingyang could clearly feel that his progress in math was getting slower and slower.

Although this is normal, like climbing a mountain, the first 100 meters are always the easiest to walk, because you have plenty of energy and the difficulty isn't high.

But the further you go, you find the path up the mountain becomes ever steeper and more rugged, while your energy keeps dwindling.

In the blink of an eye it was the next morning; it was rare that today's morning self-study had no class and no paper review.

Although Li Mingyang has been studying hard this period, after all he is low-key.
