Chapter 437: People! One must know how to be flexible!

"Then Chief of Staff Wang, you tell me."

"How should we handle this Song Qi?"

"I'm a bit troubled..."

The Grand Leader supported his chin, looking at Wang Lao on the side with great interest.

He said, pretending to be troubled.

Upon hearing this, Wang Lao's whole body shook, and his brain began to run rapidly.

On the surface, these words meant the Grand Leader valued him and was asking for his opinion.

But Wang Lao knew better than anyone that in this matter, his opinion was not important at all!

What the Grand Leader wanted was not an opinion, but the attitude of Wang Zhan, the stance of the entire military on this matter!

If Wang Zhan's answer was biased or contrary to the Grand Leader's thoughts.

Then the military, as the primary responsible party for this incident, would surely be severely punished...

Thinking of this.

Wang Zhan's back was instantly soaked with cold sweat.

His brain began to run rapidly, and after a long time, he finally thought of a countermeasure and spoke slowly.

"Grand Leader! This incident was a dereliction of duty by our military, caused by failing to conduct a comprehensive and detailed investigation of the security around the Imperial Capital! The soldiers relaxed their vigilance on New Year's Eve, which is also an important reason for this sudden incident."

"The military is willing to bear all the consequences of this incident!"

"As for the criminal suspect of this incident, Song Qi, although he has established great merits for the Dragon Nation in the past, and has shed blood and sweat for the technological take-off of the Dragon Nation!"

"And has achieved huge, undeniable achievements!"

"But military law is like a mountain; Colonel Song Qi is unorganized and undisciplined, privately manufactured extremely dangerous lethal weapons, and set them off privately, which is unforgivable!"

"I strongly suggest sending Colonel Song Qi to a military court to be dealt with seriously, to serve as a warning to others!!"

"We must let all the soldiers in the army understand that even if it is a major national asset of the Dragon Nation, if regulations are violated, a price must be paid!"

"..."

Looking at the serious Wang Zhan in front of him, the hand of the Grand Leader holding the teacup froze.

A moment later, a burst of hearty laughter came.

"Good for you, Old Wang!"

"You're still setting traps for me at this time!"

"In military strategy, this is called advancing by retreating, right..."

"Sure enough, there are only wrong names, no wrong nicknames; the title of the old fox in the army for you kid is really not just bragging!"

It must be said.

Wang Zhan's words were truly beautiful.

On one hand, he took all the responsibility for the matter onto the military, leaving no room for outsiders to criticize.

On the other hand, he clearly stated Song Qi's importance and his contribution to the Dragon Nation.

Finally, he changed the subject and expressed the need to severely punish Song Qi to serve as a warning.

You motherfucker, you've already said all that, how am I supposed to punish him severely?

"Thank you for the compliment, Grand Leader!"

Wang Zhan quickly took the opportunity to step down and responded quickly.

"You really think I'm complimenting you!"

The Grand Leader looked at Wang Zhan with annoyance, then immediately spread out the documents on the table.

The next second, several letters appeared in front of Wang Zhan.

"This kid Song Qi really has some skills!"

"He's already been locked up, and he can still find so many people to plead for him!"

"Old Wang, look, Elder Gao, Elder Zhao, Elder Liu, and many other academicians have also jointly sent me letters."

"Pleading for this kid Song Qi!"

"They almost covered the entire research community of the Dragon Nation!"

"Also, that Chen Guoan under your command has also sent a letter."

"Expressing willingness to take responsibility for Song Qi..."

Hearing this, Wang Zhan's heart skipped a beat.

Old Chen?

Why is he joining in the fun?

Is this old guy tired of living to protect Song Qi?

He actually pleaded all the way to the Grand Leader!

On the side, Wang Zhan glanced cautiously at the Grand Leader in front of him, and his heart began to beat like a drum.

This matter, in the final analysis, still depends on the Grand Leader's intention.

Song Qi's life and death are just in the Grand Leader's thought.

Seeing that Wang Zhan had not responded for a long time.

The Grand Leader took a sip of tea and continued on his own.

"This young man Song Qi is probably not as great and upright as you say..."

"As far as I know, this kid, although his research results have been excellent this year, the trouble he has caused is not small at all!"

"Not to mention the mountains that were blown down in the Northwest Military Region and Chen Guoan's headquarters, just harassing the Mao Xiong Nation and almost triggering a diplomatic dispute and the Baodao incident would be enough for this kid to die countless times..."

"Below, many people have also told me that this kid Song Qi must be severely punished..."

Hearing this, Wang Zhan's heart had already fallen to the bottom.

Just as Wang Zhan was prepared to go all out and plead for Song Qi, the Grand Leader changed the subject, giving Wang Zhan hope again.

"But I think that for young people, daring to fight and struggle is the norm..."

"Besides, this little fellow Song Qi, on the whole, his merits outweigh his faults; he always causes a lot of trouble, but in the end, he solves them perfectly, which shows that this kid still has a sense of proportion..."

"This Song Qi is an incredibly sharp double-edged sword."

"It really needs to be polished well..."

"But don't polish it too much and break its sharpness!"

"If you ask me, why not let the other sharp side of him point at the enemy? Wouldn't that be the best of both worlds?"

"Why must we make such an ugly scene on our own territory..."

"Does our Dragon Nation still need to worry about the jackals around us?"

Listening to the Grand Leader's words, a flash of realization also appeared in Wang Zhan's eyes.

"I understand..."

"Grand Leader, I understand what you mean, I will go do it right away!"

"I will definitely handle Song Qi's matter properly for you!"

"Hmm..." The Grand Leader nodded with satisfaction and drank the tea in his cup in one gulp.

Suddenly, as if thinking of something again, he spoke again.

"Old Wang... regarding the public opinion outside, you should also handle it well..."

"There is no need to cause such a big panic on such a festive day!"

Wang Zhan quickly replied: "Understood... Grand Leader, I will let the military take responsibility and explain the matter clearly..."

Upon hearing this, the Grand Leader frowned and waved his hand, stopping Wang Zhan.

"Old Wang!"

"It's New Year's, we set off two fireworks to pay New Year's greetings to the people of the whole country, how festive!"

"This is clearly a performance program carefully planned by our military, how did it become a sudden incident in your mouth?"

"People... one must know how to be flexible!"

Hearing this, Wang Lao blinked his eyes and was stunned for a long time before he reacted.

The Grand Leader said this, directly classifying this accidental event as a program carefully planned by the military!

In an instant, didn't the pattern open up?

And, in this way, the military does not need to take responsibility...

Everyone is happy! ===== CHAPTER 439 =====
