Chapter 98: True God Level: Hellfire! Brother Wuji! (Please follow and read)

A while ago, Lu Zheng had already learned some information about the gods.

The gods of the upper realm were first divided into several God King systems, such as the Light God King system, the Death God King system, and the Destruction God King system.

Below the God Kings were the Main Gods, and further down in order were Upper Gods, Mid Gods, Lower Gods, and demigods.

The gods Lu Zheng had previously learned about, such as Laban and his ilk, were merely gods below the Main Gods. Now, he had unexpectedly obtained a God King examination token from the Death God King! Lu Zheng was not particularly happy about this.

Instead, he was astonished that even a God King had perished in that great calamity. What kind of colossal disaster would humanity have to face!?

Lu Zheng arrived at the entrance leading to the Undead Plane, above the Throne of Bones.

Looking at that throne, Lu Zheng fell into thought.

The undead that had gathered here earlier did not directly launch an attack, as if waiting for something to descend. Behind the entrance, there very likely existed an even more powerful being.

He was wondering whether he should go in and take a look.

Suddenly, Lu Zheng remembered that he still had a clone skill, which was perfect for sending inside to scout.

The next moment, he activated the 【Triple Clone】 skill, creating three clones. They had fifty percent of his base attributes and could also use his True Eye skill—perfect for scouting inside.

Entering a Holy-grade plane dungeon required a credential. Lu Zheng took out the Undead Plane pass he had obtained earlier. As long as the main body held it, the clones could also enter.

This was quite convenient!

If the clones could not enter, Lu Zheng would have had to find another way.

After entering the Undead Plane, the aura of death instantly enveloped them. Fortunately, before entering, Lu Zheng had cast a Blessing Aura on the clones.

This made them immune to the erosion of that type of energy.

But immediately after, Lu Zheng sensed a pressure far exceeding the demigod level. In an instant, it shattered all three of his clones! And in that final moment, Lu Zheng saw a figure.

At first glance, it resembled a chimpanzee, but it had no hair. Its entire body was as if built from stone, burning with black-red flames. In its eye sockets, there were no eyeballs—only emptiness and void.

【Monster: Hellfire】

【Level: ***】

Lu Zheng could only see a name and not the specific level, which already told him something.

The True Eye could let Lu Zheng see through the basic information of targets no higher than 300 levels above himself.

The fact that he could not see through the information and level of this Hellfire before him meant it was more than 300 levels above the current level-150 Lu Zheng.

Combined with his judgment of its aura, it was absolutely already above level 500!

Demigods were above level 400, and those above level 500 were True Gods.

At the very least, a Lower God!

It was not strange for a Lower God to exist in the Undead Plane, but for it to be guarding the entrance—that was very strange.

Lu Zheng could not figure it out for the moment; after all, he knew too little about the divine realm.

He simply stopped thinking about it and directly returned to Snow Crystal City.

The entire dungeon had been almost completely swept clean by his appearance. From the clones' perspective, there were not many undead remaining near the entrance on the Undead Plane side either.

Not many monsters would respawn in a short time, so staying here any longer was meaningless.

Xuanyuan Wuji saw Lu Zheng return so quickly and asked with considerable surprise:

"That fast? You killed them all!?"

Lu Zheng nodded and said, "Demigods are manageable. The difficult part was inside. I sent a clone into the Undead Plane to scout and found a True God-level undead at the entrance, called Hellfire. I think the undead and demigods that entered the Throne of Bones dungeon were all driven in by it."

When he heard Lu Zheng say demigods were manageable, Xuanyuan Wuji almost lost his composure.

Over the years, dealing with the crisis of demigod-level monsters had nearly exhausted him to the point of collapse, and he had nearly been killed several times.

Only after growing over so many years and gaining sufficiently powerful strength was he able to relax a little when killing weak demigods. Yet now, a level-150 professional who had not even completed his fourth class advancement could effortlessly slay so many demigods! This gave Xuanyuan Wuji a feeling of the new generation surpassing the old! But after hearing the latter half of Lu Zheng's words, he set aside those petty thoughts and pondered the information Lu Zheng had provided.

A few minutes later, Xuanyuan Wuji spoke:

"Two possibilities. First, Hellfire has already been controlled by an Evil God, obstructing and killing creatures that want to enter the Undead Plane to participate in the Death God King's examination. Second, Hellfire has not been controlled by an Evil God, and it itself is part of the content of the Death God King's examination."

"Couldn't it be that it wants to actively invade this world?"

Lu Zheng asked in confusion.

Xuanyuan Wuji directly denied it: "No! Based on the information I've collected over the years, all Holy-grade plane dungeons allow demigods to pass through at most, and some don't even allow demigod-level beings to come out. For example, the ninth layer of the Abyss Demon Lair.

True Gods do not descend through those entrances. But True God-level Evil Gods will definitely appear, so we must hurry and cultivate people, let them obtain divine positions, and give them the power to resist True Gods."

"Aren't you going to obtain a divine position?"

Lu Zheng asked.

Xuanyuan Wuji said:

"I can obtain one, but I cannot be the first to do so, because it is still uncertain whether one can return to this world to help humanity after obtaining a divine position."

He paused, then looked at Lu Zheng and smiled:

"Actually, it would be fine for me to obtain a divine position. After all, I have you now. Your speed at killing demigods is even faster than mine!"

Lu Zheng quickly waved his hands and said, "No, no, I don't understand many things yet. You absolutely cannot be the first to obtain a divine position. Have you decided on the candidate to be the first to obtain a divine position?"

"It was decided long ago. She is in the Far North. Moreover, she has already begun the divine position inheritance examination."

Xuanyuan Wuji said with a smile. It was apparent that he felt quite proud of being able to make arrangements so early.

This was indeed worth being proud of!

Busy almost to the point of having no time to rest every day, he still had the energy to consider such long-term matters and make arrangements in advance—truly worthy of being the War God revered by the people of Yanxia.

"Let's go. I'll take you to meet her."

Xuanyuan Wuji said with a smile.

Lu Zheng was very curious.

He had previously heard that there was only one demigod in Yanxia. If that was the case, then the one taking the examination should merely be a Holy-grade expert.

Even the Empire's War God, the level-400-plus Xuanyuan Wuji, had not undertaken a divine examination. How could a Holy-grade expert pass a divine examination?

Soon, Lu Zheng learned the reason.

Xuanyuan Wuji brought Lu Zheng to the deep part of the Ice Snow Kingdom dungeon; on a huge snow mountain, he saw a woman strolling in the wind and snow.

Lu Zheng instantly saw through the woman's level information.

【Character: Xue Feihua】

【Occupation: Frost Miracle Mage】

【Level: LV. 400 (278.56%)】

Xue Feihua saw someone approaching, she directly flew to in front of the two, excitedly saying: "Wuji brother! You came to see me!!"

That cloying voice made Lu Zheng shiver.

He involuntarily gave Xuanyuan Wuji a strange look.

Good grief! Should I avoid them?!
