Chapter 113: Dogbrain Unleashed
Deep corridor, in the distance the dark angels and the Chaos Rebel Army's fierce firefight can be heard.
Deep in the corridor, Washituoer's massive body is slightly curled, a pair of eyes scanning Xisi and Bai'er from above.
Feeling Washituoer's gaze shift to the Short Dagger in his own arms, Bai'er lifts his scalpel upward.
"Washituoer, this thing is useless to you again!"
Bai'er attempts to 'reason', while Washituoer stares at Bai'er, then his eyes flash:
"You tell me whether I'm useful!"
Bai'er freezes; after berating this 'thief', Washituoer lowers his gaze, looking at Xisi before him.
Then the eyes, which had only been flickering, shine to the extreme!
Especially upon seeing Xisi aim his Black Spear at him, he, in front of Bai'er, makes the iron hammer scepter in his hand 'creak'.
"When I do business, I hate those who break trust."
"Xisi, the gun you gave me is a counterfeit?!"
Even Bai'er hears a barely restrained fury in Washituoer's voice, a rage that has never appeared in Bai'er before.
Thinking he had already drawn enough hatred, at this moment hearing Washituoer's voice, Bai'er can't help turning his head to glance at Xisi.
Then he suddenly perceives something and, quite shocked, looks at Washituoer.
No longer a contemptuous, arrogant address; the Washituoer just now even unintentionally calls Xisi by name, as if regarding him as an equal.
This detail even makes Bai'er, even now, can't help giving Xisi a serious side glance.
Xisi looks at the advancing Washituoer ready to prosecute, too lazy to explain, and directly raises the Explosive Gun that Washituoer himself forged, pulling the trigger on Washituoer.
"The gun you made with your own hands, taste it yourself."
The explosive bursts from the barrel, then instantly teleports; there is no trace of the projectile in the corridor.
Seeing this, Washituoer shows contempt, about to mock him with two feeble insults, when a strong explosion erupts, blasting directly onto Washituoer's Demigod body.
The whole person flips over; the massive blast's powerful thrust knocks Washituoer down to the ground.
Then Washituoer's just‑opened mouth is instantly frozen by that 'explosive cannon'.
"This gun has this power?"
"How could I not know?!"
Watching Xisi turn and head away, Washituoer doesn't even have time to pursue; adhering to a rigorous scientific logic, he first asks the crucial question.
But Xisi doesn't want to answer a single word, merely slashing toward the ground while sending more explosives toward Washituoer.
Dense explosions echo throughout the corridor, the violent noise causing both sides of the battle on the other side to stagger.
Then Washituoer, unable to get an answer, rages, swinging his iron hammer, chasing forward while bearing the explosive cannon.
At this moment, watching Xisi continuously fire the explosive cannon, and seeing Washituoer fully display his Demigod power, vowing to capture Xisi, Bai'er looks at the 'scalpel' in his hand and suddenly feels there is really no need to draw it.
Then, as Bai'er lowers his head speechlessly, even if Xisi runs faster, a hammer still bursts out of the explosion smoke in an instant, smashing hard onto Xisi.
This time, Xisi transforms into a soaring projectile.
Bai'er's eyes pause, unsure whether it's to rebuild the Nine Great Legions or to protect his most perfect test subject; this time Bai'er doesn't flee, preparing to turn and buy Xisi some time.
Yet before Bai'er can turn, more explosive cannon fire, now imbued with divine power, begins pounding Washituoer.
Washituoer is finally struck unable to advance; even his huge body, under Xisi's near‑face‑to‑face barrage, staggers and retreats.
Xisi fires while walking out of the smoke, facing Bai'er's stunned gaze, with a sour expression:
"What are you still looking at? Run!"
Bai'er nods subconsciously, but just as he's about to turn, he remembers something and hurriedly looks back:
"You're fine with this?!"
"That massive iron hammer, and you don't even spit a drop of blood?"
Bai'er can't understand; Xisi is speechless, watching Washituoer temporarily driven back, immediately withdraws his divine power and hurls the explosive cannon toward a support pillar.
The corridor begins a chain collapse, and Xisi drags Bai'er onward.
"I know you might not believe."
"But I have the Seven Gods Blessing."
Bai'er: "???!!!"
The earlier confusion was Bai'er wondering how Xisi also learned his tactics, spouting nonsense.
The later shock was his sudden realization that the speaker was Xisi, and the kid seemed to have no need to lie to him.
But Bai'er quickly mutters the deity names in his mind, then counts for a long while, unable to come up with seven, and after half a day stares in disbelief:
"The Seven Gods you speak of can't possibly still include Gaomao, can they?"
Bai'er looks at Xisi's face full of disbelief, while Xisi watches the narrow corridor finally bursting out, and suddenly stops.
Ahead lies the last Great Hall leading to the outside world.
At this moment in the Great Hall, dark angels, Chaos Rebel Army, Dead Spirits, and even the Empire's jump‑team, completely stunned and unsure whom to fire at, are killing anyone they see.
As soon as Xisi appears, a group of blood‑shot eyes turn their guns toward him in an instant.
Xisi, seeing this, does not answer Bai'er's question; he simply places the Green Skin Crown on his head as Bai'er's jaw drops.
Green light ripples instantly, and then the already chaotic Great Hall is shattered as a group of towering Green Skin—between the Green Skin boss and the War boss—burst through the dome.
The Green Skin boss is wrapped entirely in steel, and even several directly pilot Gaomao King Kong.
The biggest difference from other Green Skin is that each of them has 'Xisi' written on their faces with Phosphorus!
This sudden emergence of the Green Skin leaves all combatants bewildered.
Then the already chaotic battlefield becomes even more disorderly, so much that Xisi, hoping to rely on the Green Skin leaders for extraction, at first cannot decide which way to step.
Xisi doesn't know which way to go, but behind him the corridor roars with a violent boom, large debris scattering everywhere.
Washituoer's massive body, bearing the surrounding frantic redirected gunfire and endless sky‑full explosions, finally stands upright again.
And right in front of him was Xisi, almost face to face!
"Xisi!"
Washituoer flew into a rage and opened his mouth, but before he could speak, Xisi, who still couldn't be bothered to pay him any attention from head to toe, unleashed another divine-power-infused blast.
Then he grabbed Bai'er, and amid the frenzied surge of Green Skin, cleansed rebel forces, and even Black Watch support, he charged toward the palace gates.
With so much firepower finally taking effect, Washituoer's towering frame became an ideal focus fire target.
Even the Imperial Army soldiers who didn't know whom to shoot could blast him twice without a second thought.
As Xisi watched, finally about to burst out of the gate, a massive demonic sword suddenly protruded from behind the huge door.
At the same time, a demon prince no smaller than Washituoer, grinning ferociously, fixed his gaze on Xisi!
