Chapter 190: You Didn't Say I Was Going to Die Too!
Two ships stood alone on the Orbit, facing each other from a distance.
Far behind each ship, a fleet of warships was also docked.
By their paint and decorations, the warships on both sides belonged to the Huaiyaners' fleet.
The only difference was the two warships at the very center: one a completely ordinary battleship, the other a holy giant ship radiant with Divine Light, colossal, and adorned with splendid gilt.
At this moment the giant ship was merely hovering in the void, its emitted glow like a warm sun bathing the ground below.
It also left the Huaiyaners on the opposite side staring dumbfounded.
Many Huaiyaners stared blankly at the distant Aolake; even without a careful comparison, just looking at Aolake and then at their own flagship left them speechless.
Is there even a need to discuss doctrine?
Even many Huaiyaners on Aieribasi's side began to gradually distance themselves from Aieribasi, putting on an unfamiliar air.
Thus, in the contested void, a strange group of neutral onlookers appeared.
Aieribasi, aboard his own battleship, watched these followers—who a second ago were loyal—suddenly become neutral spectators, their faces showing unfamiliarity.
Aieribasi's already jealous heart toward Xisi instantly plunged into greater madness.
Meanwhile, looking at Xisi's ship—whether 30k or 40k, undeniably the first Holy Ship of humanity—Aieribasi's eyes brimmed with a fierce desire to possess it.
His gaze greedily swept over Aolake's hull, covered in divine gilt.
"When the false god opposite is besieged by demons, we will seize this Holy Ship as my chariot for preaching to the gods."
Aieribasi stared greedily at Aolake, impatiently briefing his subordinates ahead of time.
After speaking, without waiting for his men to consider how many squads were needed, Aieribasi immediately began planning.
"The main deity statue on the ship's spine must be replaced with an eight-pointed star, and the chapel's as well."
"All Xisi insignia on the ship must be erased and replaced with my name, Aieribasi."
"Furthermore, after this is done, beneath each eight-pointed star altar a statue of me, Aieribasi, must be erected, for as a preacher of the gods I deserve it."
Aieribasi grew more excited, already fantasizing about how he would pilot Aolake.
This perfectly reflects Aieribasi's nature.
Other people's children are good?
Then I could just kill those children and impersonate them; wouldn't everything be mine?
In Aieribasi's eyes, shouldn't these things have always been theirs?
Aieribasi even stared at the Bridge atop Aolake's spine, where faint silhouettes lingered, sneering and licking his lips.
"This ship has always been mine; you're just holding it temporarily until I come to claim it."
The surrounding die‑hard Huaiyaners watched their leader cautiously; hearing this, their expressions grew sour.
When Aieribasi finally withdrew his gaze from Aolake, he turned his head toward the followers behind him:
"Are the ground sigils ready?"
His expression stern, Aieribasi was growing impatient about beheading Xisi and seizing Aolake.
One of the followers answered immediately:
"Ready, and through sacrifice we have received many responses from the demons; they are very pleased with the generous offerings promised by the master."
"They are waiting for us to be ready, then they will surge out to drink the opponent's blood."
Hearing this, Aieribasi's face grew even more satisfied; he looked again at Xisi across the way, who was truly honoring the agreement, a single ship preparing for discourse, and a blatant contempt flashed in his eyes.
He stared silently for a moment, then sneered:
"Fool."
In Aieribasi's view, luring someone under the agreement and then backstabbing is not betrayal but proof that he is clever and everyone else is foolish!
Now, seeing Xisi actually dare to come alone, Aieribasi stamped the label "fool" onto Xisi's head.
After all, Aieribasi does not believe anyone could face the endless, infinitely resurrecting A-space Demon alone!
Soon, at the appointed time, a Yunxuji departed Aolake as promised, flying toward the surface.
On this side's battleship, Aieribasi's subordinate reminded timely:
"Master, should we also go down?"
Aieribasi sneered at the descending Xisi, his smug grin growing, and then, responding to the subordinate, raised his hand:
"Send a Yunxuji down; there's no need to waste time with a dead man."
Seeing Aieribasi not even bother to go to the surface, the Huaiyaners below looked resigned but still prepared to turn and act.
Meanwhile, in the Bridge, after a final admiring glance at Aolake, Aieribasi focused on the projection aimed at the ground, his eyes full of anticipation.
Soon, Xisi emerged from the Yunxuji, accompanied by the few followers stipulated by the agreement.
On the opposite side, their Yunxuji also landed, but opening the cabin revealed it empty.
Seeing this, Aieribasi laughed loudly while pointing the view at Xisi, hoping to see confusion or shock on his face; instead the camera showed only Xisi's utterly calm figure, his bored eyes looking up as the view passed over.
At that moment, despite the distance, Xisi locked eyes with Aieribasi across the void.
Aieribasi froze; Xisi showed no shocked reaction as expected, only a bored "so what" expression, causing Aieribasi's heart to race before erupting into fury.
But his rage lasted only a moment, turning into calm as he watched Xisi standing at the center of his meticulously arranged sigil on the ground, his fury morphing into a cold sneer.
Confidently withdrawing his gaze, Aieribasi turned to signal a Chaos wizard beside him.
Then, with the wizard's motion, strong Subspace Fluctuation spread instantly around Xisi, tearing apart the Subspace fissures.
Opposite the fissures, the long‑awaited, excited A-space Demon waited.
The demon's howl instantly traveled through the fissures to the earth, and Subspace whispers began to drift.
Aieribasi, with a look of enjoying the spectacle, pointed the view at Xisi again, only to see Xisi wearing the same amused expression.
The only ones whose emotions surged wildly were the jubilant A-space Demons bursting from the fissures, ready to fulfill Aieribasi's promise and, invulnerable, slaughter mortals.
Loud laughter, chuckles, faint smiles, no smile…
When the demons surged into the real universe, when Xisi rose with a golden, proud sun that seemed to relish the spectacle.
The demons looked at the scene before them, the expression finally fixed on their faces was a dead, silent void.
A bleak cold wind swept across the earth.
The silent demons glanced at Xisi before them, then looked up at AiRuiBaSi above them; though they need not breathe, the demons all let out a sigh in unison, then lifted their heads and looked upward:
"AiRuiBaSi."
"I f*** your mother."
