Chapter 25: This God Emperor Is Not Right

From Tower Top head to the Nest City passage.

Daiweiluo, who hadn't been seen for several days, stood before the passage, with only one combat brother behind him.

While the Rebel Forces are busy resisting and even counter‑attacking the Regiment, elsewhere a secret passage directly from Governor Palace to Lower Nest carries a massive elevator plummeting wildly, racing toward the deep Lower Nest.

A strong sense of weightlessness hits, making it feel as if one's heart might leap out.

Sharp scraping sounds of the elevator rubbing the walls echo, accompanied by sparks, as if dragging Xisi and the others into a bottomless hell.

Until a noticeable deceleration makes the previously "light" bodies suddenly feel extremely heavy, the surrounding sparks intensify, and the elevator finally drifts slowly to its destination.

Fortunately, most Rebel Forces were only recently redeployed to Upper Nest, so the remaining rebels guarding the fortress are few.

Xisi and Daiweiluo take only a short time to clear the already scant Rebel Forces.
