Chapter 82: Abadon Wants to Duel Me?

~7 min read 1,312 words

Inside the Ominous Sign Ark.

Abadon, Washituoer, and even a Servo Skull stared blankly at the Display before them.

Abadon was still clad head‑to‑toe in a finely‑crafted Terminator Power Armor, while Washituoer was tall and gaunt, his spindly, bony body covered in tight muscle, a demonic head sprouting horns, and his eye sockets seemed to hold two red Prosthetic Eyes.

Behind him, the usual flesh wings of an A‑space Demon were replaced, in Washituoer's case, by a pair of gear‑laden mechanical flight wings.

In his hand he no longer bore a sword, axe, or staff, but a mechanical hammer symbolizing artisan skill.

Yet this very demon, the one most likely to ascend to divinity, was also stunned, eyes wide, by the ground‑based group of Empire Green Skins.

However, the first to speak was not Abadon or Washituoer, but the Servo Skull, which seemed to possess its own will and was also watching the screen.

It was not the Mechanical Church's cold Electronic Voice, but a clearly modified signal capable of perfectly conveying emotion.

The Servo Skull hovered left and right, glanced around, then lifted its head, its red Prosthetic Eyes flickering repeatedly:

"This is far too interesting; I must log it into my database."

It was filled with the joy humans feel when seeing something amusing, even an overly exaggerated, excited reaction.

Yet Abadon was already accustomed to this, for the voice belonged to a hateful AI that Washituoer had discovered; it possessed independent consciousness and even a name, "Endless Aolake."

Aolake now serves as the central hub of the Ominous Sign Ark, controlling the massive flagship for Washituoer; the Ominous Sign Ark itself is Aolake's body.

While it can observe this group of Empire Green Skins alongside Abadon and Washituoer, it also controls the Ominous Sign Ark, striking the three warring parties on Ustali with frighteningly exaggerated efficiency and precision.

However, compared with bombarding ground enemies, the three now focus even more on these Empire Green Skins, a group no one could have imagined in their dreams.

Until he saw his own decapitation squad turned entirely into "high‑altitude lighters" by the Green Skins, Abadon finally snapped his gaze back, a flash of anger rising in his eyes.

"Why didn't you also cripple the Green Skins' machinery?"

Abadon showed no respect for Washituoer at all, and his words were a direct rebuke of his partner's incompetence.

In fact, as a participant of the Four Gods Selection, Abadon has always believed that he is not controlled by the Four Gods, but that he is using them.

Of course, the Four Gods merely smiled and said nothing.

And if his attitude toward the Four Gods was already like that, imagine toward a Demigod like Washituoer.

Washituoer was also speechless as he glanced at the ground; after all, who could have expected Ustali to produce such a band of Empire Green Skins!

Washituoer even wondered whether the Emperor had made some unspeakable deal with the A‑space Demons in Subspace, for otherwise how could the Green Skins don Imperial helmets?!

Washituoer could not respond to Abadon's opening wave of elite decapitation troops; he merely switched screens quickly, intending to investigate what these Empire Green Skins were up to.

After a brief screen change, Abadon, who had been angry at Washituoer, suddenly shouted to halt his actions.

"Wait!"

Washituoer stopped, looking at Abadon with some confusion, while Abadon stared blankly at the screen, his gaze fixed on a human who had arrived at the front lines, commanding the Green Skins.

Following Abadon's line of sight, Washituoer looked back, then quickly retrieved some information, and instantly understood.

Abadon watched for a moment, then suddenly straightened up.

"I will go to the ground and slay this corpse emperor's lapdog with my own hands!"

As he spoke, Abadon turned and summoned his elite guard, even ignoring Washituoer standing beside him.

Because on the screen at that moment, the mortal commanding the Green Skins was the one who had jumped onto his own revenge spirit, only to TM jump back again, making Xisi's trip to the War General's flagship look like a vacation!

Soon, inside the Ominous Sign Ark, a large number of elite Chaos Astat troops began to assemble, and after brief preparation, a surge of Subspace Energy erupted; Abadon employed the A‑space Evil Method to teleport directly to the entrance of the North Forge Area.

At the same time, a member of the Chaotic Cult was dispatched to deliver a message that Abadon sought a duel with Xisi, and the message was sent straight to the Command Center.

"What? Abadon wants to duel me?"

Xisi stared in shock at the soldier delivering the message, while Fanluosi and the others behind him wore equally stunned expressions, having never heard of a distinguished Chaos War General seeking a duel with a mortal.

Just the mere utterance of this would devalue Abadon, let alone how many times the mortal's price would skyrocket.

Of course, if that mortal were Xisi, that's another story.

"Sir, there is no need to accept this duel."

Fanluosi was the first to object; after finally seeing Xisi return to the safe zone, he truly did not want to see Xisi encounter any further danger.

Even Sha Hansen, standing nearby, nodded in agreement, unwilling to watch the last sliver of hope for his unbroken defense line be inexplicably jeopardized by a duel.

Xisi looked at the Display aimed at the doorway outside, watching Abadon's towering figure clad in divine armor, and did not immediately object.

Xisi remained silent, and the people around him quickly realized that Xisi actually entertained the idea of going out to fight, causing Fanluosi, Daiweiluo and others to show panic and try to counsel him.

Yet before anyone could speak, Xisi already raised his head:

"Ask Abadon whether he dares to let me make some preparations before dueling him."

The others: "......".

Seeing Xisi's attitude, the crowd could not get words out, only exchanged glances, then grimly replied to Abadon, while also curious about what preparations this lord intended.

Outside the gate, after hearing the Servo Skull's reply, Abadon smashed the Servo Skull to pieces with a palm, then leered at the Display on the gate:

"Prepare whatever you like, but quickly, because I can't wait to have the corpse emperor watch me twist your head off and use it as a bowl!"

Abadon was brimming with confidence, but his elite guard nearby showed some worry:

"War General, the opponent also has the Divine Emperor's and Terror's Blessing; should we still be cautious?"

The guard reminded him, but Abadon's expression hardened, and he spoke coldly to his subordinates:

"He has Blessings, I also have Blessings; he has two, I have four."

"What? I might not even fear him?!"

Abadon was still stuck on the scene he saw last time in Subspace, unaware of Xisi's later experiences.

Though the elite guard watched the surrounding Green Skins obeying Xisi and always felt something was off, they could not articulate it after a long hesitation, and retreated awkwardly.

During their conversation, the front gate finally opened.

Watching the prey emerge, Abadon sneered and looked back, but when faced with the towering figure stepping heavily out of the gate, his smile froze on his face.

"Hahaha...... haha...... ha?!"

Terror's blood‑red aura at his waist, Divine Emperor's golden sun on his body.

On top of that, the Color Devil's pinkish glare shone, and a green light above the head was dazzling.

When Xisi's Hundredfold flesh donned Hundredfold Divine Gear and finally piloted a Hundredfold 'Alien Form Mech' out of the gate, Abadon's frozen grimace turned into 'Brilliance'!

After holding back for a long time, with the bodyguards behind him all staring with wide eyes, Abadon suddenly straightened up, withdrew his smile, and wore a speechless expression:

"How come you also have four?!"

"And..."

"Who told you to unleash the Gaomao King Kong???"
