Chapter 261

That year, entertainment industry, main text volume, chapter 406, reporting, latest website: The various parties in the "Zhao-Donnie dispute" have tacitly started to keep a low profile to cool down the incident.

After this war of public opinion, the one who suffered the biggest blow was not the involved parties, but the third party who took sides.

Many Hong Kong and Taiwan stars who took Donnie Yen's side were exposed by netizens for a large amount of old black material and scolded until they quit Weibo.

And on the mainland side, Feng Xiaogang attracted all the firepower and happily won a title! He became a joke and talk of the town in the circle.

……

"What's wrong this year? Not even two months into the year, big news one after another, not even giving time to breathe?"

As a director, from the moment the movie was successfully filed, he had things on his mind, couldn't play well, and was thinking about the movie all the time.

Fortunately, Lu Yang rushed back from abroad in advance and started preparing for *Kung Fu Jungle*.

Just entering Tiangong Color, he complained to Lin Nan.

"Yes, who could have thought that a bottom-level small actor would dare to pull a tiger's whiskers?"

Lin Nan was instructing the editor not to move Liu Yifei's shots while responding to Lu Yang without looking back.

When *The Flowers of War* was secretly training back then, four actresses posted on Weibo exposing the training location, and were finally fired by Zhang Yimou.

Lin Nan remembered that one of the four was the Chang'e in *The Lotus Lantern Prequel*, and many people felt a pity at that time.

At this moment, one of the four, He Jun, was wildly revealing on Weibo, saying that Zhang Yimou had already remarried.

What attracted the most attention in the entertainment industry was her real-name reporting of Zhang Yimou, saying that his second marriage already had three children, seriously exceeding the birth quota!

You know, Director Zhang has an official status, CPPCC, committee member, and the current policy has explicit regulations...

To tell the truth, Zhang Yimou's marital status was indeed very well kept secret.

More than 90% of the people in the circle didn't know, and even those who knew would pretend not to know, let alone outsiders.

A large number of fans and netizens were scolding He Jun for hyping herself up and for slandering and retaliating against Zhang Yimou out of hatred...

"Lin Dao, is it true that the actress Fu Lulu who should have been fired wasn't fired in the end?"

Lu Yang asked Lin Nan with curiosity, and quite a few people on the side also looked over curiously.

That He Jun revealed that the crew originally announced the firing of 4 actresses, but in fact, there were only 3 actresses.

And the Fu Lulu reported to the outside was not an actress, but an assistant director.

As a position managing actors in the crew, an assistant director knows better and understands better what can be done and what cannot be done.

But this assistant director Fu Lulu took 3 actresses and posted on Weibo together. In the end, only three actresses were fired, and she herself remained in the crew as an assistant director.

He Jun said very straightforwardly that the "leak incident" was a conspiracy, just to kick people out of the crew...

"You big man, why are you so gossipy?"

Lin Nan glanced at Lu Yang unhappily.

"Tell me, Lin Dao, what specific conspiracy?"

"Yue Jun is not here, otherwise you can go ask him."

Lin Nan thought for a while and still spoke, "Fu Lulu is one of Director Zhang Yimou's assistants, she has followed him for several movies, a confidant."

"Go, doesn't that mean it's really?"

"That's right, it should be Director Zhang's meaning, the other two actresses were purely unlucky, randomly selected. Didn't you see Zhang Weiping's reaction after she reported it?"

"The media couldn't contact Director Zhang Yimou, so they went to interview Zhang Weiping, after all, the latter is the producer of *The Flowers of War*, and they have cooperated for sixteen years..."

The more Lu Yang said, the wider his eyes opened, "Zhang Weiping said it was inconvenient for him to answer, and asked them to contact Director Zhang! This, isn't this defaulting to exceeding the birth quota! Pretending to be accidentally 'backstabbing'?"

Lin Nan looked at the surprised crowd and added with a smile, "A small actor, how could she know so many things, very few people in the circle know!"

"Lin Dao's meaning?"

"The actress Zhang Weiping wanted to stuff into *The Flowers of War* was this He Jun. Otherwise, how would she dare to offend Zhang Yimou now, she wouldn't be able to mix in the future!"

Lu Yang and a group of Tiangong Color staff were all dumbfounded.

"This is *Infernal Affairs*, *War and Beauty*, *Empresses in the Palace*..."

Hearing Lu Yang's exclamation, Lin Nan couldn't help but laugh out loud, what kind of messy metaphors are these?

"*Infernal Affairs* is fine, you still watch the last two dramas?"

"Ah? Hehe, nothing to do, just to pass the time. But they are quite good, just don't bring your brain."

…………

Less than a day after returning to the capital, Lu Yang took his assistant and flew to Hong Kong without stopping, preparing to screen the actors set by Yinghuang.

In addition, Lin Nan personally made the decision, the *The Patriot Loyal Yue Fei* that he participated in investing in, finally wrapped up.

Jiang Xuerou flew with the *Lost in Thailand* crew, Yue Jun also went to Hong Kong, Lin Nan could only go to the wrap-up banquet by himself this time, Wang Changtian and the others were urging.

Lin Nan called Liu Yifei, preparing to report.

But three consecutive calls went unanswered, until the fourth one was answered by the assistant.

Miss Liu is quite good at playing, went to race cars with Shu Qi.

Well, go-karts!

"Wait for them to finish, no need to call me back."

"Okay, Lin Dao."

……

The wrap-up banquet for *The Patriot Loyal Yue Fei* was bigger than the wrap-up banquets of many movies.

Because several investment parties are big companies. Back then, in order to pass the review, Lin Nan "blew up" at the SARFT!

Later, this matter, I don't know how it spread in the circle, and there was that incident with Lin Xinru.

So this TV drama is also a key point of industry attention.

The entertainment industry is a vanity fair, actors with backers always have confidence.

When Lin Nan arrived, the happiest should be Zhao Liying and her assistant.

"Lin Dao."

"Congratulations, you've wrapped up."

Looking around, all the investment companies were there. Lin Nan also saw Liu Shishi and Karen Tsai from Tang Ren.

He remembered, Liu Shishi seemed to be a supporting role, wrapped up and left the crew in early January, today should be specifically to attend the wrap-up banquet. More, it might still be social engagement.

Everyone attaches great importance to TV dramas with an investment of over 100 million.

Wang Changtian, Zhong Lifang, and others were all there.

"Lin Nan, come over and sit."

Amidst the greetings of a group of people, Lin Nan led Zhao Liying and the two to their seats.

"Lin Dao, my movie *The Man* will be released next month, you must come to support. Zhang Yi is also there."

Huang Xiaoming held a glass of wine, and after he finished speaking, he drank it in one gulp.

This movie *The Man* was invested by Huang Xiaoming's studio, he starred, and invited Zhang Yi to join last year. Yue Jun approved it, Lin Nan only found out afterwards.

Today's Huang Xiaoming has completely promoted to capital, with money and connections.

Investing in movies, TV dramas, being a producer, being an actor, Sect Leader hasn't missed any of them!

"Okay. However, this movie of yours is colliding with Ning Hao's *Great Robbery*! Must be mentally prepared."

"First time investing in a movie fully, just treat it as accumulating experience..."

Huang Xiaoming's words were very atmospheric.

…………

"Lin Nan, I plan to put *The Four* in July, your *Passengers* didn't collide with it, right?"

Hearing Wang Changtian's words, Zhao Liying was the most excited, after all, she is the female lead.

"I haven't set the schedule yet, but I can stagger it with *The Four*."

Quite a few people on the side were listening to the conversation between the two and couldn't get a word in.

Karen Tsai and Liu Shishi looked at each other, feeling that Zhao Liying's luck was really good.

Signing with Shanhai Media for less than a year, she already had a movie female lead and a TV drama female lead, and the investment was not small.

Just at this moment, Wang Changtian added another sentence, "Director Gordon Chan is already ready, *The Four 2* will also start filming during that period."

After speaking, Wang Changtian looked at Lin Nan, and then at Zhao Liying.

Everyone present instantly raised their spirits, there was no news of *The Four 2* outside at all, not even half a message.

"You can thank Chairman Wang in advance now." Lin Nan smiled and signaled to Zhao Liying.

The latter then woke up from the trance, "Ah? Thank you Chairman Wang, I will act well in the second part, thank you Lin Dao..."

Zhao Liying looked full of joy, it is estimated that she might not be able to calm her excited mood for a while.

Wang Changtian nodded, "Original cast, just today is appropriate, just notify you in advance."

Karen Tsai on the side opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but in the end didn't say it, looking at Liu Shishi, shook her head lightly.

She followed Liu Shishi here personally today, just wanting to contact these film companies, hearing that they were talking about movies, she wanted to ask if there was a chance.

But the reality was that she couldn't get a word in at all, others just nodded and greeted, and didn't even pay attention to her.

Especially hearing Wang Changtian lightly set *The Four 2*, Karen Tsai was even more sour, she wanted to say Liu Shishi could also do it...

But Lin Nan was sitting there, how could she dare to speak.

"Chairman Wang, General Manager Zhong, Xiaoming... if there are suitable opportunities in the future, please consider Shishi, she is also very popular now, the salary is easy to talk about..."

After holding back for a long time, Karen Tsai still mustered the courage to say it. Liu Shishi was also very sensible and raised her glass to toast.

Lin Nan couldn't help but want to laugh, Zhao Liying subconsciously looked at Karen Tsai and Liu Shishi, and didn't speak.

Everyone's answer was very "formal", will consider. As for whether they will really consider it, that's a matter for afterwards, it is estimated that after drinking a glass of wine in a while, it will be forgotten completely.

……

……

That afternoon, media news came out.

"Liu Yifei, Shu Qi participate in go-kart competition, heroic and spirited..."

"Historical drama *The Patriot Loyal Yue Fei*, held a grand wrap-up banquet today!"

"Enlight *The Four* scheduled for July, simultaneously starting *The Four 2*..."

"First part not yet released, second part already in preparation, *The Four 2* will keep the original cast."

"Shanhai Media artist, Zhao Liying, will still serve as the female lead of *The Four 2*..."

"Director Zhang Yimou reported for exceeding birth quota, possibly related to his falling out with Zhang Weiping..."
