Chapter 343

Yue Jun represented the company and went to the start-up press conference of "Personal Tailor".

And Lin Nan, as agreed, came to the "The Dead End" crew to visit the set.

Both films were starting, but the battle between them was not a little bit different.

On Huayi's side, it was equivalent to a media meeting, with many guests and media, and the specifications were grand.

And here at "The Dead End", it was like a grass-roots team, and there were not many reporters. After the start-up ceremony in the morning, they would officially start filming in the afternoon.

"Lin Nan, welcome to visit the set. We are all old acquaintances, no need for me to introduce you, right?"

Cao Baoping greeted with a smile, pointing to a group of actors and saying.

"Teacher Cao, no need, I know them all."

"Lin Dao."

"Hello Lin Dao."

"Hello Lin Dao Nan."

Deng Chao, Duan Yihong, Guo Tao, Wang Luodan, four familiar actors, greeted Lin Nan one after another.

Hong Kong actor Lü Songxian, the one Lin Nan has the deepest impression of is that role, Linghu Chong!

Among this group of people, if you want to say who has been in contact with Lin Nan for the longest time and is the most familiar, it must be Wang Luodan, unfortunately.

"Tell me, how did you play and play, and play the Four Little Dan actresses away?"

Hearing Lin Nan's words, Wang Luodan also frowned:

"I'm also very puzzled. I have films by big directors, Teacher Xue's 'Love is Not Blind', Director Chen's 'Caught in the Web', and now Teacher Cao's 'The Dead End'. Maybe I'm not as good at hype as they are?"

Wang Luodan asked uncertainly; her company is indeed not very good at hype.

"In the future, use your brain more, don't look at them as classmates, and help them speak without thinking..."

Lin Nan hit her, believing Wang Luodan understood what he was referring to.

"I also regret it. Who knew that after graduation, she would become this kind of person? Forget it, let's not talk about it."

"I signed a two-month acting contract with Teacher Cao, and there is a TV drama afterwards. I hope my career will go smoothly this year."

When Wang Luodan said the second half, she still had a bit of showing off.

"What TV drama?"

"It's a collaboration between the company and Hong Kong, 'The Virtuous Queen of Han', I play Wei Zifu."

Lin Nan nodded, "Then I wish you good luck, I hope it will be as brilliant as 'Struggle' and 'Dark Fragrance'."

Half a day of visiting the set passed in a hurry, and Lin Nan didn't stay long.

Even so, media reports had already come out.

"Lin Dao Nan, visiting the set of Director Cao Baoping's new film 'The Dead End', the film officially started today."

"Professor Cao Baoping's new film 'The Dead End', mainly invested by Bona Film Group, Lin Nan Pictures did not participate..."

When Lin Nan returned to the company, the headlines in the circle had already changed.

The lawsuit between Tang Ren and Lin Gengxin was judged.

During the first trial before, Lin Gengxin's appeal was:

Requesting Tang Ren to pay the salary of 1.5 million that had been owed to him for several years; and confirming that the contract was terminated in mid-December last year.

Tang Ren counter-sued in court, requesting Lin Gengxin to continue to perform the artist contract and compensate 2 million for the breach of contract for privately taking on plays.

You know, once it was judged to continue to perform the artist contract, what awaited Lin Gengxin was 8 years of being frozen, unless he continued to appeal.

Fortunately, because the things Tang Ren promised when signing Lin Gengxin were not fulfilled, Tang Ren lost the lawsuit cleanly and neatly.

Just didn't expect that after it ended, Cai Yinong immediately filed an appeal in Shanghai, this time it was the second trial.

The judgment result was a bit like hitting both sides with fifty boards, but overall it was still biased towards Lin Gengxin.

That is: compensate Tang Ren 1.95 million, and the contract will be officially terminated in October this year.

This result, Lin Gengxin accepted in court, very decisively choosing to use 1.95 million to buy his own freedom, which is that he cannot take on public appearances for 8 months.

Anyone with a discerning eye can see that Tang Ren is not satisfied with this result at all, but they can only accept it.

Because the opportunity to appeal only exists once, and it has already been used, and this is the result!

When the news came out, Tang Ren immediately became a joke in the media and on the internet. This was a lawsuit fought in Shanghai, Tang Ren's base camp, and the result was biased towards Lin Gengxin twice.

This means that what Lin Gengxin said before was all true; Tang Ren is signing artists by coaxing and deceiving, and if peaceful separation fails, they directly use public opinion to suppress and smear!

For a time, Tang Ren's reputation among students in major art colleges can be described as plummeting.

"President Cai, are we still going to several art colleges?"

"Go, why not go. You think this thing will affect signing newcomers? Big mistake!"

"Newcomers are not yet qualified to consider so far, being able to stand out is what they must consider first."

Cai Yinong said with certainty.

In this circle, there is never a shortage of potential newcomers who follow one after another, and there are countless more competitors than opportunities.

And Tang Ren can give opportunities; even if it's a small role, it will make countless newcomers scramble.

"Seize the tail of the art examination, let them screen carefully, if there are any they like, report them back."

"Um, I know, President Cai."

"Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons" rushed to 1.2 billion, becoming the third Chinese film with a box office of over 1.2 billion.

At this time, it is only 60 million away from "Lost in Thailand"'s 1.267 billion, and there are only 5 days left!

"The daily box office has fallen below 10 million, only 8 or 9 million, no chance."

Almost all industry insiders have this feeling; the gap brought by an extension key is not so easy to catch up with.

But the circle also understands that "Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons" is more popular than "Lost in Thailand", and only a little worse than "Bad Genius".

At the same time, after 19 days of release, the total box office of "Sleepless in Seattle" finally broke through 500 million, grossing 502 million, and at this time the daily box office was still around 14 million.

Xue Xiaolu took another step forward and became a 500 million box office club director.

Yang Mi also became the only female lead of a film with over 500 million box office among the new Four Little Dan actresses, the well-deserved head of the Four Little Dan actresses.

But her screen time in "Sleepless in Seattle" is much more than Ni Ni in "The Flowers of War"!

What Lin Nan didn't expect was that Guo Jingming also ran over to rub the heat!

This guy specifically posted a congratulatory Weibo post and @Yang Mi:

"Congratulations to Yang Mi and the romance film 'Sleepless in Seattle' starring her for breaking 500 million in box office, continuing to advance triumphantly."

"Also looking forward to 'Tiny Times' starring her, can have the same good results. Congratulations to Director Xue, congratulations to the 'Sleepless in Seattle' crew..."

Although it was rubbing the heat, the congratulations were polite, and Lin Nan couldn't say anything, quite depressed.

Many people in the circle also followed the trend, congratulating Xue Xiaolu and the crew's main creators, Yang Mi took the lead, the most conspicuous.

The other three Four Little Dan actresses, by comparison, instantly appeared a bit eclipsed.

"This film of hers, I think I can act too!"

Yang Ying looked at Huang Xiaoming and said with implication.

How could the Master not know what she meant? This girlfriend of his, sometimes her "ambition" is not small.

But Lin Nan Pictures' films, it's okay for him to go himself, after all, he has acted in several, and his relationship with Lin Nan and Liu Yifei is also good.

But Yang Ying, he really wasn't sure Lin Nan would give this face.

"Why don't you speak?"

Yang Ying sat on Huang Xiaoming's lap and asked softly.

"What can I say? The films on Lin Dao's side are not something anyone can stuff people into if they want to. Sigh, don't move..."

"Then, how can I have a chance?"

Speaking, Yang Ying twisted a few more times, teasing.

"Lin Dao's films, really don't think about it. Not to mention Yifei, there are three actresses in Shanhai Media, Yang Mi, Zhao Liying, Reba, unless."

"Unless what?"

"Unless it's a supporting role, maybe there's still a chance."

Huang Xiaoming thought so, and it couldn't be a supporting role in Lin Nan's film, it had to be a film by other directors.

But Yang Ying's next sentence left Huang Xiaoming speechless.

"If it's a supporting role, I can act as a supporting role for Liu Yifei."

"Then don't think about it, the films Yifei acts in are mostly directed by Lin Dao."

"There are such supporting roles, Shu Chang is definitely the first choice. She is Yifei's best friend and calls Lin Dao brother."

Huang Xiaoming said angrily, patted Yang Ying's buttocks, and told her not to make trouble, but she twisted even more fiercely.

"Okay okay okay, I'll keep an eye out for you in the future."

"Good, you promised this."

"I promised, now let's solve your problem."

Speaking, Master Huang stood up with his arms supporting the other's buttocks and walked towards the room...

Yue Jun answered a call, and his face was not very good.

"Whatever you want."

"Thank you, Director Yue."

After hanging up the phone, Yue Jun sighed and walked towards the floor of Tiangong Color.

Lin Nan was still repeatedly watching the fine-cut film clips; as for the music and so on, it was all being handled by Crystal Pictures, and then the final production would be done.

"Lin Dao, Ceng Jia and Yang Mi want to announce it."

Yue Jun's voice suddenly came from the side, giving Lin Nan, who was focused, a big fright.

"Announce?" Lin Nan was stunned for a moment, then reacted.

"Okay, this time is chosen well, very good!"

Lin Nan commented with a smile.

Four Little Dan actresses, the female lead of a 500 million box office film, and "Sleepless in Seattle" still has three weeks before it's taken off the screen; all the heat is concentrated together.

"Let them be, just issue an announcement in the name of Shanhai Media." Lin Nan ordered.

"Um, I understand."

After speaking, Yue Jun left Tiangong Color.

A Weibo announcement made the entire film and television circle look sideways, simply like a fantasy.

"Signed with Shanhai Media for three years, thank you to Lin Dao Nan, Director Yue Jun, Director Jiang Xuerou, Director Lu Yang, Director Guo Fan, and everyone in the company for their careful care of me over the past three years."

"Very happy to have met Zhang Yi, Lei Jiayin, and other little partners; they have helped me a lot."

"Now my contract is about to expire, although I am very sad, I have to make a choice."

"Wish Lin Nan Pictures, Tiangong Color, and Shanhai Media to continue to grow in the future."

"I will leave Shanhai Media, but I will always be grateful to the company and Lin Dao Nan. In the future, if there is a need, I will be on call..."

Just one minute later, Shanhai Media's official Weibo also issued an announcement.

"Three years, fleeting. Everyone has their own choices, whether to stay or go out to fight."

"The contract between artist Yang Mi and Shanhai Media will officially expire on the 20th of this month. Both parties are based on the principle of voluntariness, and the company also respects Yang Mi's choice; the contract will not be renewed after it expires."

"Also wish Yang Mi's career better and better in the future, becoming a top artist and entrepreneur in the industry. Subsequently, the company will no longer reply to this matter. Thank you."

Two Weibo posts made the entire film and television circle dumbfounded.

Almost everyone in the circle couldn't believe what they saw.

"What is this? Fake, right?"

"This kind of cold joke is not funny!"

"Today seems, seems, should, not be April Fool's Day..."
