Chapter 445

"Lin Nan will return to the Film Academy to teach?"

This information swept through the entire film and television circle like a hurricane.

Everyone of course knows that Lin Nan won't go full-time; at most, it's a concurrent post.

Just like many actors in the circle now.

Bringing classes during rest and free time, not having many classes in a semester or even a school year, not affecting daily work and filming at all.

But Lin Nan is not an actor; he is a big director!

Which big director in the circle who does this is not old?

Even Jiang Wen only promised to go to the Central Academy of Drama to give lectures when he had time, not even counting as a concurrent post.

But this is clearly having a compilation!

Such a young big director and boss of a film and television company, not thinking about developing his career well and continuing to grow bigger and stronger, but instead agreed to return to Beijing Film Academy to teach concurrently?

In the eyes of many peers in the film and television circle, this is "unreliable," "slacking off" in his career, wasting youth and energy!

"Teacher, I didn't think about returning to school now; why was it announced at this time?"

Lin Nan called Tian Zhuangzhuang to inquire about the reason.

"Very simple, promoting it during the art exam registration period can attract more good seedlings. The most important thing is to occupy the 'name' first."

Tian Zhuangzhuang explained the school's intention with a smile.

Anyway, Lin Nan felt awkward no matter how he listened; "name"? He is not a yellow flower girl!

"Be prepared; the school will definitely talk to you this year; at least the personnel relationship must be transferred in first. After that, the compilation and associate professor matters can be implemented."

Tian Zhuangzhuang said everything a teacher should say, earnestly.

Lin Nan nodded, "I will be mentally prepared, teacher."

As the school expected, the importance art examinees attached to Beijing Film Academy instantly exceeded that of the Central Academy of Drama and the Shanghai Theatre Academy.

Most students are looking forward to knowing the specific time for Lin Nan to return to school, and maybe they can mix a "teacher-student" relationship.

There are many people in the industry inquiring about news, and even Liu Yifei is a bit overwhelmed.

In addition, many media outlets are also contacting Lin Nan as much as possible, wanting to confirm whether the news is true.

Simply, he posted a Weibo directly;

"That's right, I promised to return to school before, and I will definitely go back later. Currently, the specific time has not been set, but it won't be too long."

Weibo instantly became lively, and many acquaintances and friends in the circle left comments:

"No wonder the Central Academy of Drama said before they invited Lin Dao to teach concurrently, but there was no follow-up in the end; it turns out he was returning to his alma mater!"

"Doesn't this mean he has to change his title later, for example: Professor Lin?"

"Hello Professor Lin, I am Huang Xiaoming from the 96-level! Haha..."

"Looking forward to Lin Dao's teaching style!"

……

After a Lunar New Year, Sunshine Entertainment is finally about to start work.

Hou Hongliang specifically called.

"Lin Dao, we are preparing to launch 'Nirvana in Fire' the day after tomorrow; do you want to send someone over?"

"Launch ceremony?"

"Yes."

Lin Nan Film has half of the investment share in "Nirvana in Fire," so it definitely cannot be absent from the launch ceremony.

"No problem, I will send someone to participate."

Although the Lantern Festival hasn't passed yet, for the film and television industry, the Spring Festival has long ended.

Bona also held a launch press conference for Han Han and "The Continent."

Following Guo Jingming, the second best-selling author started to cross over to be a director!

Maybe because of the "previous car's lesson" of Guo Jingming, who is shouted at by everyone in the film circle, Han Han performed very low-key.

At the press conference, he didn't mention the box office at all, maintained a low profile throughout, faced reporters with a smiling face, and simply didn't give the media any place to pick faults.

……

Time entered the second week, and the daily box office of "The Taking of Tiger Mountain" began to go downhill.

Daily revenue dropped from more than 90 million to more than 80 million, and it is still falling.

In contrast, this data is still an "astronomical figure" in the eyes of other films!

La Peikang called excitedly:

"Lin Nan, do you think this film can break the record?"

"Is Chairman La talking about the box office record of 'Bad Genius'? That should be no problem." Lin Nan said subconsciously.

"No, that's not what I'm talking about."

"Then what are you talking about?"

"From 1 billion to 2 billion!"

La Peikang's voice carried a magical quality.

Lin Nan couldn't help but complain in his heart: "Worthy of being the chairman of China Film; although the person has changed, this ambition and appetite are exactly the same!"

However, he had to admit that the probability of the domestic film box office record rushing from 1 billion to 2 billion is indeed there; it depends on whether "The Taking of Tiger Mountain" can stabilize later.

"I think, we can try!" Lin Nan gave a positive answer.

"Then let's try. It's about time now; you send someone to the Film Bureau."

La Peikang spoke as if he were talking about a trivial matter, but his tone was unusually firm.

"Okay, Chairman La. I will send someone tomorrow."

Lin Nan knew what the other party was talking about, applying for an extension of the key, for a period of one month!

……

Quite a few actors in the circle were holding a glimmer of expectation for the scripts submitted by Lin Nan Film.

Especially after learning that more than one script was sent, everyone was even more eager.

Because whether it is a movie or a TV series, as long as it is a project of Lin Nan Film, it is considered one of the top resources in the circle.

When Lin Nan returned home from the company, Shu Chang had already packed her things and left.

Before joining the crew, she had to get all other announcements done, so as not to delay filming.

Although the script for "Brotherhood of Blades 2" is still under review, both Lin Nan and Lu Yang believe there will be no problems.

Even before the New Year, Lu Yang had already contacted the main actors of the first one, Zhang Zhen, Jin Shijie...

This film is equivalent to saying that the core lead actors were decided before the casting was announced.

"These two days, quite a few people have been probing around me, all wanting to know what project Lin Nan Film submitted for review."

Liu Yifei saw Lin Nan and rolled her eyes at him with a pout.

"You didn't say anything, right?"

"Um." Liu Yifei nodded.

"If I said it, I would have to ask about the role, it's too much trouble."

"Haha, it's really hard for you.

But I guess there will be news in these two days; at least the movie script is reviewed faster than the TV series script and will be announced first."

Lin Nan walked to Miss Liu, took her hand, and comforted her with a smile.

……

The next day, the film and television circle was shocked again by the news of "The Taking of Tiger Mountain."

The headlines of major media were all about the box office breaking 1 billion.

"Directed by Lin Dao Nan, produced by Liu Yifei, mainstream commercial film 'The Taking of Tiger Mountain' took 11 days to break 1 billion at the box office, reporting 1.02 billion!"

"With this, the fourth 1 billion box office Chinese film in Chinese film history was born!"

"Looking at the four Chinese films with 1 billion box office, Lin Dao Nan occupies two of them, and Lin Nan Film produced three of them..."

The entire production industry looked at the words "1 billion box office," "occupies two," and "produced three" in the news, feeling incomparably dazzling.

There are many who are envious and jealous, and there are countless who are sour and cursing.

However, along with the news of "The Taking of Tiger Mountain" breaking 1 billion, there was also gossip about "Brotherhood of Blades 2."

"According to insiders, the costume martial arts film 'Brotherhood of Blades,' produced by Lin Nan Film and directed by Lu Yang, has been confirmed to be a series. The sequel 'Brotherhood of Blades 2: The Battle of Shura' is currently undergoing script review.

Whether the film plot connects to the first one, and whether the cast is the original team, is currently unknown and remains to be further determined..."

……
