Chapter 370: The Temporary Party
Inside the Karimal Sealed Dungeon.
“Hey, you two—let’s figure out our respective areas first.”
Farna Kegris, walking at the forefront, spoke up.
“Agreed.”
Terrag nodded, then pulled a map from his backpack.
“I have a map of the nine seal locations. I’ve already numbered them in advance. If you’re okay with it, we can just each pick three areas.”
“Oh~”
Farna glanced back at Terrag.
“You came well-prepared.”
“I’ll take areas one to three, then.”
“Very well,” Terrag nodded, handing the map to Farna.
After confirming the positions of seals one to three, Farna handed the map back.
“Lady Hulim, which numbers would you like to choose?”
Terrag turned to pass the map to Hulim Heyerar, asking at the same time.
Hulim studied the map carefully before replying, “I’ll take seven to nine.”
With that, she returned the map to Terrag.
“Good. Then I’ll take the remaining four, five, and six.”
Terrag tucked the map into his backpack casually.
The three continued forward in silence.
On the first floor of the dungeon, there was only one path leading to the second floor. Having researched the intelligence in advance, none of the three strayed from the correct route.
As a result, the three found themselves in a temporary party.
Click, click......
Strange sounds echoed from the depths of the dim corridor.
The three stopped in their tracks simultaneously.
“There they are.”
Farna said, raising her wand.
“Since I’m in the lead, I’ll clear the way here.”
“Fire Wall!”
As the wand glowed brightly,
a wall of fire blocking the entire passage erupted before her. The crimson flames illuminated the corridor instantly.
And the figure making the sounds in the distance was revealed.
It was a skeleton soldier, clad in tattered armor and wielding a rusted iron sword, with two clusters of eerie green flames flickering in its eye sockets.
Click.
Noticing the approaching figures, the skeleton soldier also stopped, then raised its rusted iron sword.
“Roar!”
Letting out a guttural growl, it charged forward.

“Go!”
Farna swung her wand forward.
The wall of fire surged forward rapidly.
The fearless skeleton soldier crashed directly into the flames, its entire body bursting into intense combustion.
In less than two seconds, it was reduced to ashes—even the rusted iron sword melted into molten iron.
Ding~!
Only a small Magic Stone fell to the ground.
“Alright, let’s keep moving.”
Farna dispelled the flames and continued forward. As she passed the pile of ashes, she didn’t even glance at the Magic Stone on the ground, stepping over it without hesitation.
The two behind her did the same, not sparing a single look at the stone......
And so,
the three descended several floors of the dungeon quickly.
It wasn’t until they reached the fifth floor that they encountered some trouble.
Boom! Boom! Boom......
At this moment, continuous explosions echoed through the dungeon.
“Hmph! This never ends!”
Staring at the tide of undead magical beasts surging toward them, Farna grew increasingly impatient.
“Out of my way—Fire Storm!”
Boom!
In an instant, the surrounding space was engulfed in flames.
The onrushing magical beasts were forced back abruptly. Most of those that stepped into the fiery domain were melted on the spot.
But a few High-Rank Magical Beasts endured the flames and continued advancing.
“Tch,” Farna clicked her tongue. “High-Rank Magical Beasts? This number is a nuisance.”
Whoosh!
Suddenly, a sword wind sliced through the flames, splitting them in two and cleaving a High-Rank Magical Beast in half at the same time.
“Lady Farna, please continue holding back the lower-rank beasts. I’ll handle these approaching High-Rank ones.”
Seeing Terrag easily cutting through her flames, Farna’s expression turned slightly unnatural.
The next moment, she gripped her wand tightly.
“I don’t need your help! I’ll burn all these High-Rank Magical Beasts to cinders myself!”
As her words fell,
Boom!
The surrounding flames blazed even more fiercely, their temperature becoming terrifyingly intense.
The High-Rank Magical Beasts that had been able to move through the flames began to stagger.
“It’s working.”
A faint smile tugged at Farna’s lips.
But before she could celebrate for two seconds—
Boom!
A dark magic attack from afar tore through her flames forcefully.
“What?!”
Farna’s eyes widened as she stared at the figure casting the magic in the distance.
“Dammit—High-Rank Magical Beasts with long-range attacks?”
Boom! Boom......
Several more attacks of similar power came flying. Farna’s flames weakened further, and the High-Rank Magical Beasts that had been on the verge of falling in the flames regained their mobility.
Clearly, there was more than one High-Rank Magical Beast launching long-range attacks.
“Lady Farna, I’ll handle the beasts here—please take care of those in the distance!”
Terrag shouted loudly.
At the same time, he raised his greatsword and charged at the reanimated magical beasts.
“Dammit......”
After assessing the situation clearly, Farna had no choice but to compromise. Gritting her teeth, she said,
“Fine! Don’t let any of these guys get past you!”
With that, she ceased maintaining her previous spell.
The Fire Storm that had engulfed the area died down instantly.
The massive horde of lower-rank magical beasts that had been blocked by the flames swarmed forward once again.
But Farna couldn’t afford to worry about them now. She raised her wand, aimed at one of the distant High-Rank Magical Beasts, and began chanting incantations rapidly.
“Blast Flame Ray!”
Boom!
A crimson ray of fire struck a distant High-Rank Undead Magical Beast instantly.
The beast’s skeleton was blown clean through with a large hole, and its entire body burst into flames.
Seconds later, its bones scattered across the ground, quickly turning to ashes—leaving only a glittering Magic Stone behind.
“Slash!”
On the other side, Terrag swung his greatsword with all his strength.
With each strike, more and more magical beasts fell before him.
As the two joined forces to clear the beasts—
Click, click......
The sound of countless skeleton soldiers marching echoed again from the depths of the dungeon.
Before long, a dense tide of Undead Magical Beasts appeared in their field of vision—with plenty of High-Rank ones mixed in.
The two’s expressions changed drastically.
“This is bad—there are too many of them. We need to find a way to break through.”
“I know that, but it’s impossible!”
Farna said anxiously.
No matter how many Undead Magical Beasts she burned with her flames, they seemed endless—quickly filling the gaps left by the fire.
They couldn’t open a single breach.
In fact, the tide of magical beasts drew closer and closer, as if about to engulf them at any moment......
Just as the situation grew increasingly dire—
“It looks like you’re having some trouble.”
Hulim’s voice came from behind the magical beasts.
And as her voice sounded,
a white light suddenly appeared in the dungeon.
The white light spread rapidly in all directions, covering every corner of the corridor.
Wherever it passed, regardless of strength—High-Rank or lower-rank—all the magical beasts crumbled into piles of bones, falling to the ground.
In just a few seconds,
the dungeon, which had been filled with the chaotic sounds of magical beasts, fell completely silent......
