Chapter 1: Preface: A Must-Read for Readers!

~5 min read 984 words

Parallel world, fictional setting; the author is a kindergarten graduate, and I take no responsibility if you get poisoned.

Received the latest notice from the editor (August 24, 2023): the one million words of this book need to be revised (because the protagonist becomes too overpowered in the later chapters). The content of the entire book might be a bit disjointed; this is a revision, but generally, it does not affect the reading experience.

First, the names of people, places, and titles in the text that look like obvious errors were done to pass censorship so that the chapters wouldn't be locked in the "little black room."

Second, this little hack writer is just a stinky author with limited knowledge and not much understanding. If there are parts in the text that seem unreasonable for the society of that time, then it is a fictional setting. I don't want to argue with everyone; those who like to read it can continue to follow it, and it doesn't matter if those who don't want to read it just swipe away. However, please note: do not attack the author, engage in insults, etc.

Third, because the policies are different now, and given the subject matter, this book is quite sensitive. I can only write under the currently stipulated policies; the general direction remains unchanged, while minor directions are modified.

The times are different now; one dare not be too bold, otherwise it will get 404'd. Readers and authors are in two different circles, so readers don't understand some things within the circle. I know of people who have gone inside for writing too boldly. Furthermore, platforms are different, and requirements are different; some platforms are lenient, while others are strict.

Fourth, regarding the Golden Bowl in this book, it is only used for the transition in the first few tens of thousands of words. Later on, the Golden Bowl will be gone; it will just be a decoration.

Fifth, chapters often "enter the palace" (get banned), losing contact with readers. Everyone should read them early. Every time they enter the palace, it is so painful to revise them; I have to delete some content, and sometimes the solid information I wrote is all deleted.

Sixth, if you all have good ideas, you can bring them up. If they are feasible, I will adopt them. This might be the legendary "crowdsourced writing." After all, sometimes one person's brain can't think of good ideas; you can all suggest some for me to copy... phew, I said that wrong, I should say "draw inspiration from."

After all, Mr. Lu Xun once said: Can the affairs of a scholar be called copying?!

Big brothers, don't you think so (DogHead. JPG).

Seventh, regarding the issue of the protagonist's low rank in the beginning, the platform has regulations, and I cannot set it too high, otherwise there is a risk of losing contact. I am also being held at knifepoint; there is no other way.

Therefore, this leads to some chapters in the beginning where the good combat strategies proposed by the protagonist are not adopted by anyone, which many big brother readers feel is a "poison point."

This book is now at 500,000 words. These many words were all typed out by my own hands. The earlier chapters are indeed hard to revise. If you big brothers can endure the poison, then continue reading. It doesn't matter if big brother readers who don't want to read it just swipe away; the rivers and lakes are vast, we shall meet again later.

Eighth, regarding typos in the chapters before the book went on sale, if you big brother readers point them out, I will revise them after I see them. However, for chapters after the book goes on sale, once you big brother readers point them out, I do not have the permission to modify them. I am very sorry!

Ninth, after chapters "enter the palace" and are revised, it may cause the whole text to be incoherent, with discrepancies between the front and back content. This is something that cannot be helped, but generally, it does not affect the reading experience.

Tenth, if you see that the chapter order is inconsistent or missing, it means the chapters have been blocked and locked in the "little black room," commonly known as "entering the palace." This little hack writer is currently trying hard to rescue them (this specifically refers to the Qidian site). On reading software like QQ Reading and QQ Browser, after chapters enter the palace, the chapter order and names are consistent and will not change, but the content before and after has no connection. This is also because some chapters have entered the palace; this little hack writer is trying hard to rescue them!

Eleventh, special note: if pinyin abbreviations appear in the chapters, it is because the system mechanism was triggered and replaced them directly; it is not an abbreviation made by this little hack writer!

I am also very grateful for the silent support of all you big brother readers. Although you big brothers rarely speak, I can still see many familiar IDs in the voting and tipping. This little hack writer kneels and thanks all you big brother readers for your support. Thank you all; I kowtow to you big brothers. You are all my bread and butter. I kowtow to you big brothers again. I wish all you big brother readers smooth work and everything going as you wish.

This little hack writer is here, kowtowing to you big brothers, specifically as follows:

Kowtow to big brother ▄██● Kowtow to big brother ▄██● Kowtow to big brother ▄██● Kowtow to big brother ▄██●

Kowtow to big brother ▄██● Kowtow to big brother ▄██● Kowtow to big brother ▄██● Kowtow to big brother ▄██●

Thump thump thump thump thump...

Revised on September 2, 2023!
