Chapter 107: Acting as a Liaison

Yu Hua grinned and said, "Division Commander!"

"The 129th Division of the 18th Group Army is operating in this area."

"We can contact the 18th Group Army and have them coordinate with us!"

Upon hearing this!

Chen Qian frowned slightly, "The 18th Group Army?"

"Are they willing to coordinate with us?"

Chen Qian still felt a bit worried about this unit.

"I have heard of this unit!"

"Which unit are you from?"

"Please rest assured!"

Looking Zhang Dabiao up and down, Yu Hua discovered that this man was just as he had seen in the television dramas before.

According to the previous distribution of friendly forces in the 2nd War Zone, there were no other 2nd War Zone units here besides the 18th Group Army.

Upon hearing this, the Platoon Leader frowned slightly: "Is it only our regiment operating in this area?"

The soldiers of the Reinforced Company, hearing Yu Hua say this, continued to wander around the vicinity.

Wei Dayong grinned and said, "Company Commander!"

"There are about two companies!"

"I am willing to act as a liaison and personally discuss the combat deployment for this operation."

A unit suddenly arrived at Qigeng Village, immediately attracting the attention of the 18th Group Army sentries.

In history!

The soldiers of the 18th Group Army wore gray uniforms, and on their gray caps, there was a wreath made of withered grass.

"I'll go notify the Company Commander!"

"Where did these other troops come from?"

Hearing this, Zhang Dabiao nodded; he was very clear in his heart.

"You say there are friendly forces nearby!"

A Sichuan Army unit had suddenly appeared right now!

This was truly a bit suspicious!

After Zhang Hu mimicked a bird call, two bird calls immediately came from the hilltop.

"You stand still for me!"

"This unit will definitely be willing to cooperate!"

"Want to find you to take a look!"

The 129th Division was operating in this area, then ambushed the little devil's Supply Troops.

"I will arrange for your men to stay here first, how does that sound!?"

"Coming here to slack off?"

This matter was not something he, a mere small Company Commander, could resolve right now.

Yu Hua patted his own chest and said, "Deputy Division Commander Chen!"

When Yu Hua led his troops through a mountain col.

After approaching the area of Qigeng Village, the Reinforced Company immediately stopped their Rapid March.

After leaving!

Li Biao arrived at the company headquarters at top speed.

On the hilltop!

Wang Shun was from Sichuan Province, and he said a few words in the Chuan dialect.

"You wait here and observe this unit for the time being; you are not allowed to make contact without orders."

"I need to see your unit's high-level commander."

"This is the first battle for our Sichuan Army since entering Jin Province; we must achieve results."

He felt he needed to go and ask carefully.

Li Biao took a look.

Judging by their spirit, this unit was also elite, and their combat effectiveness should not be bad at all.

Zhang Hu grinned and called out softly: "You go notify the Platoon Leader immediately!"

As he spoke, Zhang Dabiao extended his right hand toward Yu Hua!

"My name is Yu Hua, and I am also a Company Commander!" Extending his right hand, Yu Hua shook hands with Zhang Dabiao.

"May I ask if you are the 129th Division of the 18th Group Army?"

"I will take you to see the Battalion Commander right now!"

"This unit must still be here; let's wander around a few more times!"

Zhang Dabiao waved his hand: "I will go see the friendly force commander personally."

"Want to find the high-level command of the 129th Division to negotiate important combat missions!"

He looked at Yu Hua: "The matter of contacting friendly forces is left to you."

There was no great difference; he had thick eyebrows, big eyes, and was full of youthful vigor.

"Let's go!" The Platoon Leader looked at Wang Shun, "Let's go take a look!"

In this space-time.

"This unit is indeed the Sichuan Army!"

After confirming the other party's identity was not a problem, Zhang Dabiao grinned: "Brother!"

"Shunzi!"

"But, we've been wandering around here for half a day, and we haven't seen any friendly forces come to contact us!"

Yu Dazhu, who was to the side, also spoke up: "That's right!"

"Stop advancing!"

"You Sichuan Army came here to look for our 18th Group Army; is there some major matter?"

"The accent and tone are exactly the same as my hometown's."

Therefore, the 129th Division must be in the Qigeng Village area right now.

Due to Yu Hua's influence, the time it took for the Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army to arrive in Jin Province was advanced by quite a lot.

Following the 129th Division's marching route, Division Commander Liu must have led the troops to this area long ago.

He arrived at the position where the Platoon Leader was and shouted loudly: "Platoon Leader!"

Zhang Dabiao walked quickly to Yu Hua: "Brother, just now was a last resort!"

Yu Hua grinned: "What is wrong with you!"

A soldier in gray clothing shouted loudly at Yu Hua and the others.

"Could it be that the 129th Division operating in this area has already withdrawn?"

Although both sides cooperated this time, this was an external cooperation.

At the fork in the road ahead, a soldier wearing gray clothes stepped out.

Yu Hua waved his hand, "No!"

Wang Zhizhong, who was to the side, heard this and slapped his own thigh!

"Fine!"

When Li Biao went to report to the Company Commander on the hilltop.

The 129th Division had only just arrived in this area, not even a day ago.

Yu Hua, at the foot of the mountain, had been wandering around with his troops for quite a while.

"There are about two companies, wearing gray clothing, looking like our own people."

"Fine!"

"That is, fight if you can win, withdraw if you can't, and specifically harass the devils from behind!"

"Company Commander!"

Wang Shun, on the hilltop, heard this and said to the Company Commander: "No problem!"

"Specifically came here to contact the 18th Group Army!"

"We are the Sichuan Army, from the 122nd Division!"

"A unit has arrived here!"

Yu Hua wore a smile, "Brother!"

This unit looked like the 18th Group Army, but upon closer inspection, he discovered some differences.

After Yu Hua led his troops and left Donghui Town.

Yu Hua believed that as long as he led his troops to operate in the Qigeng Village area, he would always be able to find people from the 129th Division.

Wang Shun nodded upon hearing this, then slowly left from the grass.

Yu Hua looked at Zhang Dabiao: "Dabiao, I am here this time representing the Sichuan Army 122nd Division."

Yu Hua waved his hand: "It's nothing, we can understand, it's an extraordinary time!"

"My name is Zhang Dabiao... I am the Company Commander of this unit, you can call me Dabiao!"

"What is the matter?"

Now that Zhang Dabiao is a Company Commander, that means Old Li at this time... is still a Battalion Commander.

Coming down from the hilltop!

The soldier wearing gray clothing was none other than Zhang Hu!

He looked at the unit in front, and upon hearing they were the Sichuan Army, his brows furrowed slightly.

"It won't be long before someone definitely comes to make contact."

"Brother, have your men go up from this mountain hollow first, there is a small flat area above!"

Having received the order, Yu Hua took his Reinforced Company and headed straight for Qigeng Village.

"A unit discovered at the mountain pass!"

"Company Commander!"

This unit's marching formation was orderly, and every soldier's morale was very good.

"They are also wearing gray military uniforms, a bit like our troops."

"Don't take it to heart!"

It is different from the first cooperation before!

That is, the 18th Group Army possesses the initiative to choose the battlefield and does not have to listen to the 2nd War Zone's dispatches.

Arriving at the hilltop!

Li Biao looked at the troops at the foot of the mountain!

On a hidden hilltop.

"A unit discovered at the foot of the mountain, I'm not quite sure about them?"

"I estimate they are currently observing us in secret."

Zhang Dabiao said while looking at Yu Hua, wanting to see what kind of reaction the other party had.

"No problem!" Yu Hua nodded: "Just make the arrangements as you see fit!"
