Chapter 140: Not an Ordinary Person

The command post of the 20th Division.

Kawakishi Bunzaburo looked at the intelligence in his hands.

"Yoshi!"

"The deployment of the Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army is now fully known."

"This is extremely favorable for our army's subsequent operations!"

"Immediately transmit this intelligence to Division Commander Yamaoka Shigeatsu."

Kawakishi Bunzaburo's Adjutant nodded and bowed, saying: "Hai!"

After the driver inside the Armored Vehicle heard the shouting.

Did he actually say something about eating shit?

How confident must one be to say that!

"Cause chaos within the Sichuan Army, and then swallow it in one fell swoop."

This was a specially modified Armored Vehicle.

"Passing through here, isn't that giving the Sichuan Army a chance to ambush us?"

"You have been laughing for such a long time."

"Tell us, so we can be happy together too."

"Your Excellency Division Commander, judging from the troop distribution of the Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army."

On the way to Qigeng Village, Yamaoka Shigeatsu's command post was set up inside an Armored Vehicle.

Yamaoka Shigeatsu's Chief of Staff, Ono Matsushima, grinned: "Yoshi!"

"Guteng Changying, this is the Sichuan Army's deployment plan."

Saying this, Yamaoka Shigeatsu handed the telegram to Guteng Changying.

However, Huang Shaohong held a dissenting opinion; he believed, "Commander Yan, I think the 109th Division will definitely focus its attack on Qigeng Village."

It stopped immediately, and with a "Crack!", the door of the Armored Vehicle opened.

The Sichuan Army's defensive positions above were also all marked out.

"Yoshi!" Yamaoka Shigeatsu nodded with satisfaction, "You are right."

After the Sichuan Army's battle deployment was uploaded.

Just like that, Guteng Changying led his own Brigade to march toward Qiaotou Village.

After about five minutes, Guteng Changying walked quickly to the front of Yamaoka Shigeatsu.

In the 2nd War Zone command post, Huang Shaohong, Yan Laoxi, and a group of senior Staff Officers were present.

The original purpose was to cope with the 2nd War Zone or the Nanjing Command asking the Sichuan Army for an operational plan.

It was seen written on the telegram: "To ensure the battle along the Niangziguan line and guarantee the safety of the Xinkou Battlefield."

The 109th Division could completely bypass the Sichuan Army's defensive line, insert directly into Donghui Town, and then split the 22nd Group Army apart.

The 109th Division took the bait? Their troops haven't even moved yet?

How did these little devils take the bait?!

Subsequently, Yu Hua also explained that it was the Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army that had reported an operational plan to the 2nd War Zone.

Hearing it was an urgent telegram from Kawakishi Bunzaburo, Yamaoka Shigeatsu immediately got down from the Armored Vehicle.

In Yu Hua's view, the intelligence system of the Nanjing Command.

Now the Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army.

In the direction of Niangziguan, Kawakishi Bunzaburo was the Commander-in-Chief.

"Impossible!" Yan Laoxi waved his hand like Cao Mengde: "Absolutely impossible!"

Jin Jizhong saw Yu Hua grinning and went up to ask: "I say, Brother Yu."

The Communications Soldier saluted Yamaoka Shigeatsu: "Division Commander, an urgent telegram from His Excellency Kawakishi Bunzaburo."

Yan Laoxi said sonorously: "If Yamaoka Shigeatsu's division marches to Qigeng Village."

After reading it, Guteng Changying immediately understood the Division Commander's idea.

"Judging from the distribution situation above, I think the 109th Division will definitely attack Mashan Village first."

But, at times, it was also extremely secretive, and many high-ranking military and political officials did not know it themselves.

Yan Laoxi's Adjutant brought the telegram, "Commander Yan, our scouts have reported."

The 109th Division still had to listen to Kawakishi Bunzaburo.

"This is a containment of the Sichuan Army."

"Your Excellency Division Commander, you mean for me to lead a Brigade to march toward Qiaotou Village."

"Dispatching a Regiment to march to Qigeng Village is also to ensure the Sichuan Army cannot reinforce Mashan Village."

"Here at Qiaotou Village, the Sichuan Army's defensive line is relatively lax."

"The 124th Division has deployed troops along the line of Mashan Village and Qigeng Village."

"The terrain here makes it easy for the devils' Supply Troops to pass through quickly."

"We can completely dispatch a Brigade to insert through here."

Yu Hua looked at Jin Jizhong and the others, "Good news... good news..."

This operational plan was also made by Yu Hua.

Jin Jizhong and Lao Luo were also both looking confused?

After receiving the telegram from the Communications Soldier's hand, Kawakishi Bunzaburo's face was filled with great joy.

"How is it?"

Yamaoka Shigeatsu looked intently at Guteng Changying: "Do you have the confidence to complete it?"

Yu Hua played along with the ruse, intending to use this fake operational plan to pit the 109th Division against a trap.

In the eyes of Yamaoka Shigeatsu, it was like a flower girl stripped of her clothes, completely exposed before him.

Joining forces with Yamashita Tomoyuki's mixed brigade, they would wipe out the Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army in one fell swoop.

Upon hearing this, Yamaoka Shigeatsu nodded; he also felt that his Chief of Staff's proposal was good.

Yamaoka Shigeatsu raised the corners of his mouth, revealing a curve; this Sichuan Army operational plan was now exposed.

"What exactly is the matter?"

Yan Laoxi looked at the map: "Ji Kuan!"

"The Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army at Niangziguan is deployed as follows: the 122nd Division is stationed along the line of Xihui Village and Zhangjia'ao."

"I have already said that the terrain at Qigeng Village is disadvantageous to the devils."

"Infiltrate the interior of the Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army, and then bloom from the center."

The current Nanjing Command, as well as the other various war zones, have intelligence systems as leaky as a sieve.

"Communications Soldier, get me Infantry 31st Brigade, Brigade Commander Guteng Changying."

It is just a fifty-fifty situation; sometimes top-secret intelligence from above is even known by the dance hostesses in the dance halls.

After listening to his Adjutant's account, Yan Laoxi nodded with satisfaction: "Ji Kuan."

"Your Excellency, Division Commander!"

"What is going on with... your side?"

The little devils had long ago planted quite a few secret agents.

"I, Yan Laoxi, will eat shit right in front of you all!"

Guteng Changying stood at attention: "For the Imperial Army's Holy War, for the glory of the Imperial Army."

"Yoshi!"

"The 109th Division, this fish has taken the bait."

The senior Staff Officers of the 2nd War Zone headquarters were all staring at each other with wide eyes.

The Reconnaissance Company led by Yang Jun discovered the devils' unusual movements and immediately reported to Yu Hua.

The Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army engaging the 109th Division in battle would definitely attract the attention of the devils.

"The 127th Division will construct reserve positions along the line of Shenxiandong and Nan'angou to block the advance of the 109th Division."

"Their main force has not set out toward Qigeng Village."

"Chief of Staff!"

Everyone was now looking at the map hanging on the wall.

"The New 10th Regiment must hold its position and wait for the arrival of follow-up troops."

"Urgent telegram!"

"The 109th Division will absolutely not go this way."

Guteng Changying saluted Yamaoka Shigeatsu and Ono Matsushima.

"Qigeng Village... the terrain here is disadvantageous to the little devils."

"My Infantry 31st Brigade has the confidence to complete it."

They would certainly try every possible means to investigate the Sichuan Army and obtain the Sichuan Army's campaign deployment.

Just at this moment.

Yan Laoxi felt that unless Yamaoka Shigeatsu's head had been caught in a door, he would never choose to advance through Qigeng Village.

Huang Shaohong was also startled; was this Yan Laoxi really this ruthless?

Although Yamaoka Shigeatsu and Kawakishi Bunzaburo were both Division Commanders, in terms of command...

"This battle is simply handing military merit to my 109th Division."

"The 109th Division has dispatched a regiment to advance on Qigeng Village."

This is completely feasible.

The remaining senior Staff Officers also shouted loudly that Commander Yan's words made sense.

"All units must coordinate with each other; if the 109th Division attacks along Qiaotou Village..."

"Division Commander... Division Commander..."

Yamaoka Shigeatsu poked his head out and looked at the Communications Soldier.

Outside the Armored Vehicle, a Communications Soldier riding a horse was shouting.

Yamaoka Shigeatsu was working inside.

Everyone looked at Yan Laoxi with great astonishment.

The Commander of the 2nd War Zone is truly no ordinary person.

Eating shit... that's what dogs do!
