Chapter 156: A State of Bewilderment

Jincheng!

Marshal Liu looked at the telegram in his hand.

His brows furrowed slightly.

The 22nd Group Army, led by Deng Xihou and Sun Zhen, had annihilated a Japanese Division in Jin Province.

This was an entire Division... over twenty thousand men!

Although Marshal Liu felt some skepticism in his heart regarding this battle result.

Yet, there was the precedent of Deng Xihou's Group Army completely annihilating the Hashimoto Detachment.

Upon hearing this, everyone's spirits were lifted.

Everyone was also studying the tactics used by the 22nd Group Army last time.

"The 'Lure the Enemy to Reinforce' tactic arranged here is excellent."

Pan Wenhua, Li Jiayu, Liu Wenhui, and others also looked at Marshal Liu eagerly.

Plus, with the Japanese having so much heavy equipment and artillery, their firepower already exceeded that of the Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army.

What the hell?!

"My Sichuan Army in Jin Province, annihilated an entire Japanese Division?"

Very quickly!

The Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army, having annihilated the 109th Division tonight, had all its soldiers cheering happily as well.

Even if it was Deng Xihou and Sun Zhen fighting an Ambush.

Yu Hua had sent the specific process of the battle to Marshal Liu, and at the same time, he emphasized to Marshal Liu.

The combat effectiveness of this Division was slightly inferior to a Permanent Division, but, to annihilate it completely.

It was by letting the 109th Division enter the trap that a great victory was achieved.

After reading the content of the battle report, tell the Sichuan Army generals, but do not report it to the 2nd War Zone or the Nanjing Command.

They were to leave Sichuan to resist the war, which left several generals who had not yet left Sichuan.

Plus, Principal Chang had the intention of centralizing the Sichuan Army.

The people at Marshal Liu's residence also began to cheer.

Seeing everyone discussing heatedly, Marshal Liu reached out and pressed down, signaling everyone to be quiet.

After reading the detailed process of the battle, Marshal Liu let the various Sichuan Army generals take a look at the detailed battle report.

"Let us see... how this battle was fought, to actually annihilate an entire Japanese Division."

"Then Yan Laoxi will shout that our Sichuan Army is just 'spinning yarns'."

With the detailed battle report, the Sichuan Army generals were all beaming with joy.

Marshal Liu picked up his water cup and took a sip, "I do not have the specific battle report in my hand yet."

"De Cao and Jinkang's 22nd Group Army has once again achieved a great victory in Jin Province."

"Completely annihilated a Japanese Division."

Marshal Liu had already decided on tomorrow's front-page headline for Sichuan Province: the news of the total annihilation of the 109th Division.

Deng Xihou saw Yu Hua, "I just sent a report of victory to Commander Huang Shaohong of the 2nd War Zone."

A Division is over twenty thousand people, although the 109th Division was a Special Division.

"Marshal!"

"I wonder what the reaction will be once the 2nd War Zone learns of this."

After all, the intelligence systems of the 2nd War Zone and the Nanjing Command were like sieves.

This kid Yu Hua is reliable in his work; this battle of encirclement and annihilation was conducted entirely under his planning.

Tonight, as the Sichuan Army encircled and annihilated the 109th Division, Xiao Ningxin not only took photos but also captured some precious combat footage.

Just as Yu Hua arrived, he saw Xiao Ningxin writing the news about tonight's total annihilation of the 109th Division.

They soon recruited enough soldiers, in accordance with the Sichuan-Kang Military Reorganization Conference of the Nanjing Command.

The Sichuan Army achieved a great victory; although it was not commanded by Marshal Liu, he was still very happy in his heart.

In an instant!

Inside the command post, it was so quiet that one could hear a needle drop on the floor.

Seeing that everyone was present, Marshal Liu cleared his throat.

"Lure the Japanese to the predetermined ambush location, use Landmines and Explosives to wipe out the first wave of Japanese."

This battle wiped out a Japanese Brigade.

In the command post at Marshal Liu's residence at night, there were still some Sichuan Army generals who had not left Sichuan.

The Sichuan Army's success in encircling and annihilating the 109th Division this time was also due to uploading a fake battle deployment to the 2nd War Zone.

Sun Zhen laughed, thinking it was very likely.

"Did it wipe out some Regiment under the 109th Division!"

The Sichuan Army's detailed battle report should not be leaked; once the little Japanese know.

"The more detailed the battle report, the better; list the time, location, and number of people clearly."

This was a major event.

"Gentlemen!"

Perhaps there could be a few more battle results like the total annihilation of the 109th Division.

However, due to the large number of people joining the army now, many Divisions were already overstaffed.

Even now, there was still laughter and cheering in the Group Army's headquarters.

"The 109th Division, which broke into the Niangziguan line, was encircled and annihilated by our Sichuan Army tonight."

"A great victory!"

The difficulty coefficient is also extremely high!

The number of men in the entire Division is approaching the 14,000-man establishment of a Class A Division.

The little devils won't just wait for you to hit them; they will also counterattack!

The various Sichuan Army generals, in any case, could not figure it out.

"So, the 22nd Group Army ran into the 109th Division tonight."

Li Jiayu grinned and said: "Marshal!"

22nd Group Army Command Post.

"Let the common people in the Southwest Hinterland wake up and know that my Sichuan Army has left Chuan and once again dealt a heavy blow to the Japanese invaders."

The Sichuan Army is a Class B Division establishment, with a full strength of 11,000 men.

I don't know which deity—the Jade Emperor, the Supreme Venerable Sovereign, or the Three Pure Ones—blessed the 22nd Group Army.

Seeing Liu Dashuai say this, everyone thought they had misheard.

Liu Dashuai nodded quietly, "Correct!"

He sent a telegram to Yu Hua, asking him to report the details of the battle as soon as possible.

"At ten o'clock tonight, we completely annihilated the 109th Division and captured countless supplies."

"You're not wrong, are you?"

"I believe it won't be long before the things you want to see will arrive immediately."

Once the Sichuan Army unites, it can exert even greater effect.

"They must be completely dumbfounded!"

As for the secret telegram from that kid Yu Hua, Liu Dashuai had not yet received it.

It greatly boosted the face of the Sichuan Army and also made many students and farmers in Jincheng prepare to join the Sichuan Army.

This made Liu Dashuai even more convinced that the troops leaving Chuan should be gathered together for use.

After Liu Xiang finished reading, he beamed with joy.

Pan Wenhua patted his own chest and said: "According to the deployment in this detailed battle report."

An unprecedented great victory!

Since the start of the Sino-Japanese War, this is the first time a full-strength Japanese division has been annihilated.

"It is also feasible for our Sichuan Army 22nd Group Army to completely annihilate the 109th Division."

"Can you tell us the detailed process of the battle?"

Regarding the intelligence systems of the Nanjing Command and the 2nd War Zone, Liu Dashuai truly could not trust them.

Liu Dashuai tentatively believed it.

Then that would be terrible.

Liu Dashuai sat down and said softly: "The troops of De Cao and Jinkang."

After Li Jiayu finished reading, he was amazed!

Ever since Yu Hua became famous in Songhu, he has been fighting nothing but miraculous battles now.

Liu Dashuai nodded, "The victory report sent by De Cao and Jinkang is most likely true."

"They also asked us to release the good news of the victory as soon as possible tomorrow morning."

Impossible!

Absolutely impossible!

This was the thought of most Sichuan Army generals.

Xiao Ningxin used her family's influence to find another small team, and now this team is specifically responsible for capturing combat photos for the Sichuan Army.

Li Jiayu asked proactively: "Marshal!"

"Since it is a great victory, then it must have annihilated a regiment-level unit."

Everyone also focused their eyes on Liu Dashuai!

But, this Ambush could also turn into a stalemate.

The Sichuan Army in Jin Province completely annihilated a full-strength Japanese division?

"Then concentrate artillery fire to bombard the little devils; every step is interlinked."

Liu Dashuai arrived at the conference room.

Yu Hua grinned: "What reaction?"

"Is this battle result authentic?"

After all, according to the Sichuan Army's previous battle deployment, Niangziguan should be in a mess right now.

The 22nd Group Army should have been in a desperate situation.
