Chapter 273: The Little Devils' Final Strike

Inside Jinshan County!

Yu Hua ordered every Regiment to enter the tunnels immediately.

Yu Hua was already very clear about the little devils' Three-Axe Tactics.

Now the little devils would certainly call for artillery fire to conduct carpet bombing on Jinshan County.

Infantry charges, artillery blasts, then infantry charges again!

Not only was Yu Hua familiar with it, but even the Sichuan Army 144th Division was familiar with it now.

The little devils would rely on this tactic until the end of the campaign.

Inside the city!

If not for Yu Hua's proper coordination, had it been someone else in command.

"Several parts of our tunnels have been collapsed by the devils' artillery."

Once the defenders inside the city wanted to withdraw from the West Gate, they would inevitably crash into the Imperial Army's Pocket Formation.

Everyone searched forward cautiously, always wary of the defenders launching sneak attacks from the shadows.

The 144th Division!

After the little devils' shelling ended, each Regiment received the sound of the whistle from the sentries on alert.

For every country on the Far East Continent, it was very clear.

"About a Battalion of brothers were suffocated to death."

Yu Hua used his Telescope to observe the entire county.

He could see with his own eyes that the southern part of the urban area was severely damaged.

"If it were a complete Division and Brigade, damn it... the devils would turn the world upside down."

Began shelling Jinshan County!!

Facing the little devils' artillery superiority!

Yu Hua combined the tunnels with the tunnel warfare near the 38th Parallel in the 1950s.

This 144th Division, it is estimated that half of the brothers would have been blown to death by the devils' artillery.

This time!

Jinshan County was bombarded by hundreds of artillery pieces.

The 6th Division's Infantry Regiments now only had two, the 23rd Regiment and the 47th Regiment.

"To be able to concentrate so many artillery pieces, damn it."

This was just like a cheetah catching its prey.

The Heavy Artillery roared, its sound like thunder on a rainy day.

Tani Hisao and Kunisaki Noboru both believed that after the Heavy Artillery bombardment, the troops inside the urban area would certainly have nowhere to hide.

Jinshan County!

Upon receiving this news, his gaze tightened.

For such large-scale shelling, with hundreds of artillery pieces, many Sichuan Army soldiers dared not even imagine it.

They advanced smoothly!

After entering the city, the searching little devils only found a small amount of remains.

They had not effectively shot and killed the enemy troops at all; it was very likely that the defenders inside the city, during the Imperial Army's shelling.

Outside the city!

Very quickly!

Fortunately, after the 144th Division took over Jinshan County, they had renovated the entire county.

It also left Guo Xunqi, who was hiding in the tunnels, astonished.

The Field Heavy Artillery Brigade's 150mm Heavy Artillery began to show its power.

The South City Gate had already had a corner blown down by the devils' artillery, and some gaps had also been blown open on the city walls.

Now everyone was also waiting for the arrival of the little devils.

Moreover, the two Infantry Regiments were not at full strength.

This indicated!

The Republic of China Army defending the city had not yet withdrawn; they were certainly hiding in some corner of the city.

Near the 38th Parallel, tunnel warfare could effectively avoid the enemy's artillery bombardment.

"This is the first time I've enjoyed such high-class treatment!"

Yu Hua and Guo Xunqi were both currently located in the Bank Building of Jinshan County.

To conduct a mopping-up operation against the defenders inside the city!

In the 144th Division's headquarters.

Such intense shelling.

"Avenge our fallen brothers!"

At present, the 6th Division and the Kunisaki Detachment were fully deployed.

The 23rd Regiment, Regiment Commander Okamoto Shinomi.

No time for grief!

Yu Hua clenched his fists, "Brother, don't say anything else."

The bluestone road on the street now also had many shell craters.

It was still relatively safe to set up the headquarters here.

"Let's give the devils a good beating next."

Facing the surging artillery fire of the little devils, it has now completely turned into ruins.

"Boom—!!"

These four guns fired a total of 20 shells; this was just a test fire.

"These little devils think highly of me."

The 10th Division was reinforced with a Heavy Artillery Brigade.

"Are our casualties heavy?"

This time!

The 6th Division and the Kunisaki Detachment, from the South Gate, North Gate, and East Gate, three directions.

Yu Hua was clear; he guessed that this Heavy Artillery Brigade had already arrived outside Jinshan County.

The four 150mm Howitzers that started the bombardment first.

The Bank Building was a reinforced concrete structure.

You must know!

The troops entering the city this time, three regiments, one regiment from the 6th Division, two regiments from the Kunisaki Detachment.

There were also over a thousand wounded soldiers in the Field Position at the South Gate outside the city.

Now they have all turned into charred remains!

Now breaking into the city is just to sweep the battlefield.

On the ground!

Aside from leaving sentries, all units of the Sichuan Army fully entered the tunnels.

The little devils bombarded the entire Jinshan County, as long as it was within the scope of the county.

This bombardment!

It was enough to tear people's eardrums apart.

The artillery of the 6th Division and the Kunisaki Detachment also followed the heavy artillery to bombard.

They hid in the well-constructed soldier-hiding caves.

Yu Hua looked at Guo Xunqi, "Old brother, have the casualty statistics come out?"

"The little devils' bombardment is so fierce!"

Tani Hisao agreed!

Break into the city and clear out the remaining Republic of China Army.

"Damn it!"

The remaining three thousand plus men were all ambushing at the West Gate outside the city.

The defenders in the city did not retreat, because of the principle of surrounding three sides and leaving one open.

The other three regiments also understood.

At five o'clock in the afternoon, Jinshan County will surely be hanging the Imperial Army's Plaster Flag.

Everything had to be bombed once.

"Damn it!"

He stated his thoughts!

Each regiment had two thousand five hundred men, totaling over seven thousand five hundred men.

This is the final battle of Jinshan County.

Guo Xunqi sighed deeply: "Just now, I made an urgent contact."

They reported this situation to the Regiment Commander.

You must know!

During the warlord melee.

Finally, after confirming the correct coordinates, 48 150mm heavy artillery pieces.

The Sichuan Army, as poor as beggars, had at most encountered bombardment from 12 Mountain Guns.

Immediately crawled out of the tunnels and entered the corresponding blocks.

After the bombardment ended!

Kunisaki Noboru gave the order for his Detachment to serve as the vanguard.

The entire county was burning with flames, and the houses in the city collapsed.

Guo Xunqi was pacing back and forth in the command post!

Outside, the sound of artillery was rumbling!

"I still underestimated the little devils' army."

As for where they were, Yu Hua really couldn't estimate.

In the eyes of Kunisaki Noboru and Tani Hisao.

Preserve one's own strength as much as possible.

At the South City Gate!

Guo Xunqi came to Yu Hua's side, "Brother Yu!"

There were very few corpses of the defenders, which indicated the large-scale bombardment just now.

"Just listening to the sound, there are over a hundred pieces of artillery."

Both of them believed!

As an old devil with rich combat experience, Okamoto Shinomi was very certain.

In the direction of the West Gate, no gunfire came.

Looking down from above.

Okamoto Shinomi immediately contacted the other three Regiments.

Only at the appropriate moment would a fatal blow be dealt.

The Sichuan Army soldiers had already arrived at the ambush site.

"This damn Division, this Brigade, they're the same devils we've ambushed before."

A large amount of gunpowder smoke enveloped Jinshan County, as if placing the entire county seat inside a thick fog.

The little devils' troops crept to the base of the city wall without encountering any firepower from the defenders.

That three-story pavilion carved with flying flowers and hung with wind chimes.

The Sichuan Army is currently fighting very hard in the Urban Warfare as they contend with the little devils.

However, the soldiers' fighting spirit remains very high.
