Chapter 310: Maximizing Interests

Currently, the Sichuan Army is operating in Sichuan Province under the name of the Chuan-Kang Pacification Office!

They have trained many Security Regiments, all of which are being trained in the manner of regular troops.

For this troop training, Yu Hua provided a "Militia Military Training Manual."

Some parts of the content in this manual have already gone beyond the scope, such as the highly toxic mushrooms.

This thing simply does not exist right now.

Therefore, after editing the "Militia Military Training Manual," Yu Hua handed it to Liu Dashuai.

After Liu Dashuai looked through it at the time!

He felt this book was excellent and immediately promoted it within the Sichuan Army.

Everyone has their own little agenda, and Yu Hua does not want this group of people to fight tooth and nail over a single position.

"We shall discuss it together at Shanhu Residence."

Many citizens came spontaneously, and triangular paper flags were hung under the eaves of the streets.

Seeing so many Sichuan Army bigwigs looking at him, Yu Hua first ate two skewers of barbecue.

"You speak, and we shall deliberate together!"

His Reinforced Battalion was reorganized into the New Independent Regiment.

"I have already thought it through!"

The citizens in Shu County!

Had long since learned the news that Liu Dashuai's coffin would be entering the city today.

He also met with Deng Xihou and Sun Zhen.

The famous cultural figure, Guo Moruo, wrote a funeral couplet as follows:

Yu Hua's barbecue skills are quite good; this group of generals ate until their mouths were dripping with oil.

"Tonight!"

"Everyone is a brother, everyone is one of our own."

Deng Xihou and Sun Zhen were the first batch of generals to return to Chuan, while people like Pan Wenhua and Guo Rudong are still on the road.

Yu Hua scanned it roughly; the gist was as follows.

Yu Hua went to find Deng Xihou and Sun Zhen at the first opportunity.

Deng Xihou patted Yu Hua on the shoulder: "This is a letter the Marshal left for you."

The combat effectiveness of the Security Regiments has been greatly improved.

Each and every one of them looked as if they had never eaten a grand meal before.

Due to the grand plan of national unification, he assisted with utmost sincerity, possessed profound insight, and was deeply relied upon.

Recently, having received orders to resist the war, he commanded Divisions and Brigades, personally went to the front lines, and worked hard on strategy; his old illness suddenly worsened, and upon hearing of his sudden passing, I am deeply grieved.

Shanhu Residence!

This is a residential area Yu Hua built in Shu County for the Sichuan Army generals.

"We have eaten our fill, now it is time to talk about serious matters."

The Sichuan Army generals discussed issues while following Liu Dashuai's coffin into the city.

Only soldiers who have truly experienced the test of war can be considered elite troops.

"See for yourself."

This group of Sichuan Army generals can now gather together calmly and eat barbecue.

Yu Hua grinned and said: "Regarding how our Sichuan Army will dodge hidden arrows next, I have indeed thought it through."

These Sichuan Army troops now also have a brand-new look.

The memorial service was held very smoothly.

However, when it comes to playing tricks with the Nanjing Command, the Sichuan Army generals are completely in the dark!

They are simply no match for the Nanjing Command!

At the same time!

At the memorial service, representatives of the Nanjing Command read out the government decree posthumously awarding Liu Dashuai the rank of First-Class General:

"Sichuan-Kang Pacification Director and Sichuan Provincial Government Chairman Liu Xiang was talented, experienced, and possessed a magnanimous character.

Now the Sichuan Army is not afraid of wasting bullets!

So!

The foreign-owned factories in Sichuan Province are continuously producing weapons for the Sichuan Army.

"But don't let it happen that for one position, two people, or even three, all want it!"

"However, you should each state which position you want in your hearts first."

After chewing and swallowing slowly, he clapped his hands and looked at the people before him.

"What should our Sichuan Army do next?"

He opened the letter.

Liu Dashuai's coffin was buried in the South Suburb Park of Wuhou Shrine.

If no blood is seen, then they are not elite troops.

Deng Hanxiang also looked at Yu Hua: "It is just... it is just..."

Liu Dashuai promoted Yu Hua to Colonel.

Yu Hua took out a match, lit the letter, and then said: "For the generals who have returned to Chuan, let us all gather."

Regarding the position of Provincial Chairman, several people all want it; this position is truly conspicuous.

He demanded that the Sichuan Army train troops according to this "Militia Military Training Manual."

After Deng Xihou and Sun Zhen saw Yu Hua, they immediately handed him the secret letter from Marshal Liu.

It was just two days after Marshal Liu's coffin was buried.

In the courtyard, the various generals were also eating barbecue.

Wang Lingji brought Deng Xihou and Sun Zhen back to Shu County.

Having trained for so long, the Security Regiment had yet to see blood.

People in the streets and alleys now also stopped in their tracks... to observe a moment of silence!

Every courtyard had also dug air-raid shelters, not fearing air raids by the Japanese Army.

"We generals of the Sichuan Army are all gathered here now."

The generals remaining in Sichuan Province, such as Wang Zanxu, Liu Wenhui, Zhong Tiqian, and others.

"Don't be like a woman, speak your mind."

This concerns the fate of hundreds of thousands of the Sichuan Army.

At the memorial service!

Marshal Liu himself knew that once he passed away from illness, the two army groups of the Sichuan Army...

Various social organizations also presented wreaths and elegiac couplets.

The various generals of the Sichuan Army were all gathered in Yu Hua's courtyard.

This place relied on the mountains, and every building was constructed entirely of reinforced concrete.

Three days later!

Most of the important generals returning to Sichuan had already arrived.

Such as Marshal Liu, Deng Xihou, Sun Zhen, Pan Wenhua, and others.

"This would both harm internal harmony and damage the maximization of the Sichuan Army's interests."

In his early years, he held the military seal, protected the region, and his meritorious service was long established.

Yu Hua only just rushed back to Shu County!

He arrived in Shu County only to learn that Marshal Liu had already been buried.

Deng Hanxiang, Zhong Tiqian, and others held Marshal Liu's memorial service according to the previously discussed plan.

"Brother Yu, how should we guard against the hidden arrows from the Nanjing Command?"

As Deng Xihou's voice fell, the people who had been chatting also began to grow serious.

Liu Xiang is posthumously awarded the rank of First-Class General, his life's deeds are to be recorded and announced in the national history to show the nation's deep appreciation for his meritorious service."

Since mountain bandits had appeared on the Chuan-Shaan Highway again, then simply use the name of bandit suppression to conduct training.

"Let me have a bottom line!"

Speaking of this, Yu Hua grabbed two more skewers.

The entire population of Shu County stood on the streets.

"It might even give the Nanjing Command an opportunity to exploit."

That is, right now, they must deal with the Nanjing Command together.

Later, he assumed the position of director of the region, reorganized the army and administered the government, all in accordance with the circumstances.

The Nanjing Command would definitely take action against the Sichuan Army; Marshal Liu hoped Yu Hua would help the Sichuan Army escape some of the Nanjing Command's schemes.

"This time we must maximize the interests of the Sichuan Army, rather than a few people fighting over the same position."

"Governing Sichuan was a unique achievement since Feng Gao; his merits were high and his virtues great, never slacking, making one feel the bitter toil of a good craftsman;

Campaigning against the Japanese, he went out through the Kui Gate and traveled a thousand miles east; his will was resolute even as he perished, a great star suddenly fell, long making heroes' sleeves wet with tears."

While eating and watching everyone, he actually knew it too.

"Hmm!" Sun Zhen and Deng Xihou both nodded slightly.

"You kid must come up with a strategy; the people from the Nanjing Command are pushing hard now!"

Yu Hua's words immediately plunged the people eating skewers into silence.

Within the Sichuan Army ranks!

Marshal Liu now also knew that these people were fierce as tigers when fighting.

After finishing the letter, Sun Zhen walked up and patted Yu Hua on the shoulder: "The letter has been read!"

Harming the internal harmony of the Sichuan Army and causing the alliance to break!

After finishing the skewers, Yu Hua continued: "Now here!"

"Yu Hua!"

Rushing without stopping to Marshal Liu's grave, Yu Hua burned paper money for Marshal Liu, and after paying his respects.

After Deng Xihou ate a skewer of kidneys, he looked at Yu Hua and said: "Brother Yu."

They had all purchased houses in Shanhu Residence!

Seven o'clock in the evening!

However, it was indeed a bit difficult for Yu Hua to get everyone to be open and honest now.

Thanks to Brother "Little x Ox" for the tip, thank you for your support, and thanks to all the brothers for the votes. Many thanks for the support of all the brothers; this little loser here kowtows to all the brothers... Dong dong dong, kowtowing finished, many thanks to all the brothers.
