Chapter 891: Start with your own people

The old students in the auditorium were all stunned when they heard the instructor's words, and then their eyes toward Xu Tian also had a few more points of sympathy.

They all knew that the suburb the instructor mentioned, besides having poisonous insects and rodents, also had many thugs who were famous on the arrest list, as well as bounty hunters who had betrayed the Wuji Martial Arts Association.

Because the terrain there is complex and it is almost a "three-no" area, ordinary people going there, as long as they don't die, are considered lucky.

On the surface, the fixed mission the instructor gave Xu Tian was just to find out information, which was no problem.

But that location, as long as Xu Tian went, it would be a narrow escape.

Let alone him, even an experienced Level 3 bounty hunter might not dare to go.

Some newcomers who knew the inside story looked at Xu Tian with sympathy, while also guessing what he had done to offend this instructor.

But the old students with high seniority knew clearly that this matter couldn't be separated from Wu Qiankun.

This instructor of theirs, named Wu Wannian, was Wu Qiankun's second uncle.

"Xu Tian, this paper has the specific information and precautions for the fixed mission. Come over and take it back." Instructor Wu Wannian stared at the indifferent Xu Tian and curled his lips slightly.

Zhao Mu and Zhao Qianjiao, sitting in the front row, smiled at each other, both showing the expressions of villains who had achieved their goals.

This kid was assigned a fixed mission with such high difficulty the first time; even if he didn't die, he would be crippled.

A stinky loser who had nothing, daring to show off his power in front of them, was truly ridiculous!

However, no matter how the people around reacted, the person involved, Xu Tian, remained motionless and had no intention of going up to receive the mission at all.

Wu Wannian waited impatiently, slammed the A4 paper onto the podium, and shouted at Xu Tian.

"Xu Tian, I told you to come and receive the mission. Are you deaf?"

"Instructor, I don't want to take this mission, and I won't take it." Xu Tian said lazily.

In an instant, the large auditorium was silent, so quiet that the sound of a needle dropping could be heard clearly.

Other students looked at Xu Tian with their mouths agape, thinking to themselves, did this kid not finish reading the student handbook?

The Profound Heaven Tang family's mountain villa has strict rules that no one can violate.

Let alone him, a low-level bounty hunter who just arrived, even high-level bounty hunters at the top of the villa's food chain wouldn't dare to violate the rules within the villa.

If anyone defies the rules here, the best outcome is to be immediately persuaded to drop out, and if they are unlucky, they might even lose their lives.

Wu Wannian saw Xu Tian's attitude and sneered: "You kid still haven't figured out the situation? This mission is not something you can refuse!"

"I didn't say I wouldn't take a mission." Xu Tian was still in that flat tone.

"Then why don't you hurry up and come up to get your mission notice?" Wu Wannian said angrily.

"I said I'd take a mission, but I didn't say I'd take the mission you assigned to me."

Xu Tian's words caused an uproar among everyone present.

"Presumptuous!" Wu Wannian said angrily. "Since you are so disrespectful to your elders and treat the rules as nothing, then don't blame me for not being polite. I can't teach a student like you. Get out of the Profound Heaven Tang family's mountain villa immediately!"

"Who do you think you are?" Xu Tian smiled contemptuously. "What qualifications do you have to decide whether I stay or go?"

"These are the rules!" Wu Wannian said with a dark face. "As long as you are a student of the Profound Heaven Tang family's mountain villa, you must accept fixed missions; otherwise, you will face the punishment of expulsion!"

"It seems the instructor's professional quality is nothing more than this." Xu Tian's expression was relaxed, not at all frightened by Wu Wannian's threat. "You aren't even familiar with the rules in the villa; how can you make students convinced?"

"What do you mean?" Wu Wannian asked through gritted teeth.

"You wouldn't know that the Profound Heaven Tang family's mountain villa has another rule, right?" Xu Tian said unhurriedly. "If a student doesn't want to complete the fixed mission assigned each quarter, they can go to the bulletin board to take an equivalent number of missions. This doesn't count as a violation and won't get them kicked out of the villa."

Wu Wannian didn't expect Xu Tian to be so familiar with the villa's rules, but he still said with disdain: "So what if there is this rule? But you don't even want to take the mission I gave you; are you sure you can do the bounty missions on the bulletin board?"

"I can. Do you have any other questions?" Xu Tian asked back.

Wu Wannian didn't expect Xu Tian to agree so readily. He snorted coldly and said provocatively:

"Then go now. I'd like to see what kind of mission you'll take!"

"No problem." Xu Tian smiled indifferently and stood up, walking toward the outside of the large auditorium.

Wu Wannian followed closely behind, as if afraid that Xu Tian would play some tricks.

"Let's go take a look too..." Liu Shasha also stood up from her seat.

"Go! Let's go together!" Other students also followed one after another.

"Tch, he really thinks of himself as a dish!" Zhao Mu rolled his eyes with disdain. "You are all idiots too. You don't really believe he dares to take a Level 3 bounty mission on the bulletin board, right? It's just grandstanding. If he really does it, I guarantee he'll be scared into peeing his pants!"

But everyone was holding a gossiping mindset and squeezed outside; no one paid attention to Zhao Mu's cold sarcasm.

Zhao Mu's face became even uglier. He looked at Zhao Qianjiao and followed behind the crowd.

They wanted to see Xu Tian make a fool of himself with their own eyes.

After walking out of the teaching building, Xu Tian headed straight for the bulletin board on the square.

And next to the bulletin board, many students were already picking missions.

High-level bounty hunters are not like Xu Tian and these newcomers and low-level bounty hunters who haven't been promoted. Their courses are relatively loose, and most of their time is spent taking missions and doing missions.

Xu Tian came to the bulletin board and looked at the row of Level 1 missions above.

Level 1 mission: Challenge Zhong Yu of the Azure Wolf Hall and defeat her, making her willing to admit defeat.

Xu Tian's mind conjured up the image of the little girl pouting, and a few smiles appeared in his eyes.

Sorry, he could only start with his own people...

Xu Tian made up his mind, and Wu Wannian and the others also walked from the teaching building to the square.

The surrounding students saw Level 4 bounty hunters gathering near the bulletin board and felt a bit strange.

These people rarely come to the bulletin board usually, for no other reason than that few low-level bounty hunters can complete the missions above. ===== CHAPTER 892 =====

Xu Tian made up his mind, and Wu Wannian and the others also walked from the teaching building to the square.

The surrounding students were a bit surprised to see the Level 4 bounty hunters gathering near the bulletin board.

These people rarely came to the bulletin board, and the reason was simple: almost no low-level bounty hunters could complete the tasks posted there.
