Chapter 1045: Where did the other person go!

2:50 AM Tokyo time.

The private jet Ye Chen was riding in landed at Narita Airport.

He didn't bring anyone with him this time, rushing to Tokyo all by himself.

Throughout the journey, because there was only wireless internet on the plane and no cellular network, Ye Chen stayed connected to the plane's wireless network.

He kept staring at Song Wanting's profile picture on WeChat, hoping she could send a message.

However, Song Wanting never gave him any feedback.

During the two-hour flight, Ye Chen was extremely anxious and increasingly unable to sit still.

In his heart, he couldn't help but imagine the worst outcome: if Song Wanting were really dead, what should he do?

Although he brought a Rejuvenating Pill this time, while the Rejuvenating Pill was miraculous, it didn't possess the power to truly bring the dead back to life.

If the person was truly gone, eating more Rejuvenating Pills would be of no help!

And although there were records of higher-level pills in the Nine Mysteries Heavenly Sutra, that information was too profound, and Ye Chen couldn't comprehend it at all, nor did he have the ability to realize it.

Therefore, he could only keep praying in his heart, praying that Song Wanting was still alive.

Or, even if she only had one last breath left, he could still save her!

After getting off the plane, Ye Chen passed through customs at the fastest speed possible.

Subsequently, he saw that Ito Nanako was already waiting at the exit of customs.

Seeing Ye Chen, her heart leaped with joy. She ran toward him in two or three steps, her eyes full of excitement and admiration as she said, "Ye Chen-kun, you're here..."

Ye Chen nodded and asked her, "Nanako, have your people found anything?"

Ito Nanako hurriedly said, "The ninjas I sent out just gave me feedback. They said they have found the car Miss Song was riding in. Three bodies were found at the scene, two women and one man..."

"What?!"

Ye Chen's heart skipped a beat, and he blurted out, "Have the identities of the bodies been confirmed?"

Ito Nanako hurriedly explained, "The male body is Miss Song's driver. As for the other two female bodies, one has been confirmed not to be Miss Song herself, and the other female body in the passenger seat has been burned beyond recognition and cannot be identified. But because this female body was sitting in the passenger seat, I speculate that she shouldn't be Miss Song herself either."

Ye Chen hurriedly asked again, "Then are there no other people at the scene? If there is no one else at the scene, where did Wanting go? Could this burned body be her?"

Ito Nanako added, "It's like this, Ye Chen-kun. My ninja told me that fresh footprints were found at the scene. Before the vehicle caught fire, someone should have escaped."

As she spoke, Ito Nanako sighed, "The ninja told me that this matter is very bizarre because the scene was truly too tragic. That business car fell from a cliff hundreds of meters high and caught fire. In this situation, even a ninja would find it hard to survive, yet that person actually survived and still had the ability to move. It's truly a miracle among miracles!"

Hearing this, Ye Chen breathed a sigh of relief instantly!

It seemed that the person who survived and had already escaped should be Song Wanting herself.

Song Wanting must have relied on the pill he gave her to save her life under such dangerous conditions.

Therefore, Ye Chen hurriedly asked again, "Nanako, have your people found Song Wanting's whereabouts?"

Ito Nanako shook her head and said, "Right now, they are tracking the traces left by Miss Song, but they haven't found her in person yet. However, I believe that since she is alive, she must be found."

As she spoke, Ito Nanako added, "Oh, by the way, Ye Chen-kun, the Metropolitan Police Department has sent a large number of police officers, who have also rushed to Nishitama District to search. I believe they are also looking for Miss Song's whereabouts. And they have many police helicopters, which are more suitable for large-scale search and rescue. I believe they will find Miss Song's whereabouts soon."

Ye Chen shook his head with a solemn expression, "In my opinion, the reason Wanting encountered misfortune must be because someone intended to harm her. If the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department finds her whereabouts, this matter will definitely not be hidden from the mastermind. The other party might come back again."

Having said that, Ye Chen hurriedly asked her, "Nanako, is the helicopter ready?"

Ito Nanako nodded, "It's on the helipad, ready to depart at any time!"

"Okay, rush to the scene of the accident as soon as possible!"

……

The helicopter soon roared up from Narita Airport, flew across half of Tokyo's urban area, and headed straight for Nishitama District.

At this time, the usually quiet Nishitama District suddenly became bustling and noisy.

Thousands of Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department officers and special operations team members swarmed in, and several police helicopters turned on high-power searchlights, circling and shuttling through the mountains.

In the dark, the Ito family's ninjas were in the valley, tracking the traces left by Song Wanting.

Song Wanting was not a martial artist, let alone an expert, so she couldn't hide her movement trajectory at all.

The lead ninja was very smart. While following the trail left by Song Wanting, he didn't forget to order people to eliminate the trail left by Song Wanting bit by bit.

In this way, no one would be able to find the clues left by Song Wanting again.

Even if the people from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department found that completely destroyed business car, they wouldn't find any trace of Song Wanting leaving alive.

This could ensure to the greatest extent that Song Wanting wouldn't be discovered by others.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department had many people and great power, and they also had police helicopters searching at high altitude. Therefore, it didn't take them long to find the business car Song Wanting had been in when the accident happened.

Subsequently, several police helicopters headed toward the valley where the accident happened, and twenty or thirty heavily armed special operations team members landed from the helicopters one after another.

As soon as these special operations team members landed, they immediately protected the scene strictly.

They checked the scene for the first time and confirmed that there were two deceased in the car. Subsequently, they traced back from the position of the business car and found the body of Song Wanting's assistant, Chen Yan, on the steep slope halfway up the mountain.

Therefore, their person in charge immediately reported to headquarters via radio, "We have found the scene of the accident. The vehicle matches the vehicle in the video surveillance. Three bodies were found at the scene, one of which has been identified as the woman surnamed Chen who was by Song Wanting's side. The other two bodies have been completely carbonized, and it can only be identified that they were a man and a woman, but it is impossible to confirm the identity of that woman."

The commander-in-chief at the scene hurriedly asked on the radio, "Were there any other clues found at the scene? You only found three bodies now, but we found from the surveillance footage that when the business car left the hotel, there were four people in the car, one of whom was the driver, and among the other three, one was Song Wanting, and the remaining two were Chen Yan and Zhang Xiaohui. It's impossible that there are only three bodies!"

The person in charge of the special operations team said, "Only three bodies were indeed found at the scene, and judging from the tragic degree of this accident, it's impossible for anyone to have survived, and no signs of anyone surviving were found at the scene."

The commander-in-chief said with extreme doubt, "This isn't right! Four people got in the car, and only three were left after the accident. Where did the other person go?" ===== CHAPTER 1046 =====
